圣诞老人的故乡芬兰的露云娜美圣诞节能够做到普天同庆，充满爱和欢乐，尼古拉斯送礼物这一招功不可没。关於尼古拉斯和圣诞老人的历来传说多多(各位可以参考圣诞老人的由来)，其中芬兰的露云娜美(Rovaniemi)，就被称为『圣诞老人的故乡』。

露云娜美是个刚刚踏入北极圈的城市，林木青葱，秀丽而宁静。从芬兰首都赫尔辛基往位於其北面的露云娜美，可乘坐火车，车程约十一小时。 小城景点不多，只有拉普兰人自然博物馆、市集、野生动物园，而游客都是冲著圣诞老人村(Santa Claus Village)而来的。然而此镇虽传说是他的故乡，但村庄是否就是他从前的居址，都无从考究了。 圣诞老人村位於市郊边缘，自成一隅。通过高高的牌坊入口，赫然见到一条粗白线横躺地上，写著北纬66度33分。原来这线正是北极圈的分界线，过了这线以北的地方便属於北极范围。不少人在线上跳来跳去。在北极进进出出，到是有趣。
