To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. 一路的攀爬，使我感受到了长城的变化。总的来说，一切几乎都没怎么变，但我看到长城上有许多的垃圾。这，使我感到愤怒：华夏儿女的祖先千辛万苦、风餐露宿才打下了天下。每一个名胜古迹都有着它独特的风景和一个个古老的故事与传说。如今，人们不但没有好好地保护它们，还加以破坏：在城墙上乱涂乱刻，随地吐痰、乱扔垃圾。作为中国人，作为炎黄子孙，难道不感到羞辱吗?

作为新世纪的少年，我们应该更加注重环境的保护。20__并不可怕，可怕的是环境遭到破坏。草地不再是绿的，天空不再是蓝的……世界末日并不可怕，可怕的是人类将自己毁灭自己!保护环境，保护我们共同的家园吧!

为了让草地更绿，为了让河水更清，为了让天空更蓝，让我们一起来保护环境。保护环境，从我做起。现在还不晚，为了你我他的幸福生活，保护环境，刻不容缓!
