Man and His Environment

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment. Sea pollution is becoming an increasing problem for our planet and we have

a responsibility to reduce sea pollution.

I need to describe the problem. Our ship currently dumps all its rubbish

into the sea.Its easy to result in huge endanger. First of all, Non-organic

substances such as plastic bags kill fish and whales. Because fish get trapped

and whales cannot digest them. Secondly some rubbish is inherently toxic.

I can suggest some solutions. First and foremost we can create a better

system of disposing of rubbish for instance. We ought to store rubbish. Next, we

are supposed to make ships environmentally and friendly. A case in point is that

we should stop providing plastic bags.

We must act now before it is too late!

那么，怎样采取行动呢？首先，我们必须要少砍伐树木。树木能制造氧气，同时吸收二氧化碳。其次，要保护湿地。把湿地保护好了，就相当于保护好了40％~50％的生物种类。

气温升高，主要是由于大气中所含的二氧化碳逐渐增多，所以，我们应把空气中二氧化碳的含量降低，将未来冰川融化的“噩梦”扼杀在萌芽状态，让地球彻底的降温。要减少空气中的二氧化碳，最好的方法就是多种树。

另外，气温升高也与垃圾有关。垃圾可以堆肥，但垃圾堆肥时却不可避免的产生甲烷。甲烷也是导致温室效应的“罪魁祸首”之一。

所以，人类一定要减少垃圾的产生。垃圾少了，老鼠也少了，就有了开头故事的场景。最后，我要提醒大家：保护环境，人人有责！

“海上生明月，天涯共此时。”时光飞逝，又到了令人兴奋的日子——中秋佳节。想起去年，我过了一个很有意义的中秋节。

那天傍晚，我们一家围坐在院子里吃晚饭，等待着月亮这位集万千宠爱于一身的主角登场。天慢慢变黑了，夜空如一匹柔软光滑的深蓝绸缎，在我们的热切期盼中，月亮出来了。没有让我们失望，果然如一轮玉盘，把皎洁的银辉撒在我们的小院子里，为本来就美好温馨的场面增添了节日的光彩。

这时，我想到了我们和善的老邻居张爷爷。他平易近人，是个热心肠，平时就他一个人生活。妈妈包了几块月饼让我给张爷爷送去。爷爷热情地迎接我，第一句话就是：“中秋节快乐，孩子!”

进门之后，看到他屋里空荡荡的，我问他：“您的孩子们呢?”爷爷说子女们都忙，回不来，中秋节只能自己过。我有点心酸，打算留下来多陪他一会儿。张爷爷很高兴。

首先，和平时一样，先做牌子！这次吧，画个植树的画儿吧！我就立刻动手。瞧！我画了一个抱树枝的金发小姑娘，还有一个铲土的紫头发小姑娘。蓝色头发和粉色头发的小姑娘则吃力地提着水桶给小树浇水。每棵小树上都绑了红布条，而另一边，我在绿色彩纸上写了“让我们用行动，保护森林！”然后牌上又插了一面小红旗，在风中飘舞。

第二天，我便身穿校服，在8点半左右，拿着水桶铁锹出发了。到了目的地以后，有不少人，可是我仔细一问，原来还有别的人也在组织植树！一会儿，老师来了，把我们带到了郭守敬纪念馆右边的一块空地，上面有大大小小、形状不一、已经挖好的坑。右边是我们的，左边是幼儿园小朋友的。可是坑不够，我便和高一博一起挖坑。我把铁锹插进土里，咦！怎么铲不动？原来我铲到根了。我就又换了一块地方，开始重新铲。我费了九牛二虎之力才铲了一点，于是，高一博的妈妈帮我铲了铲。哇！阿姨的力气可真大！我忍不住在心里感叹！坑终于挖好了，我就兴冲冲地准备种树了！我叫高一博和我一起，我扶着树，他填土，然后他累了，我俩就换一换。土填好了一层，然后用脚踩一踩，就再填一层。好了以后，我俩就去接水啦！我们是爬假山绕远过去的，因为我的水桶比高一博的要大的多，接满了水后，我比高一博慢了许多。终于到了小树边，我浇上了水，又绑上了自带的红布条。我就和高一博去玩了……

尘封的往事，似云，似烟，它总是若隐若现，似有似无，让人难以回味，然而，一时的失足，一次的错误，却能在心中留下刻骨铭心的记忆。能望掉，固然洒脱;不能忘掉，那股悔恨之情却根深蒂固。

当我想起那一件事时，悔恨之情便涌上心头。
