今天，我和妈妈从外婆家回来的时候，去爬了南门到湖莲潭的山。

站在山脚，向上仰望，那山像是挂在天边的一幅精致的画卷。顺着一条崎岖的石阶路蜿蜒而上，石阶两旁挺立的松树，枝繁叶茂，遮天蔽日，形成一道天然的绿色通道。一开始，我体力充沛，蹦蹦跳跳的，一下子将妈妈拉得老远。瞧着她那慢腾腾的样子，我就急不可待地招呼她“快点”，一会儿又跑回去向她“报告”我发现的“新大陆”。

可是，在漫长得似乎没有尽头的山路面前，我“屈服”了，两只脚就像灌了铅一样，一点劲也使不上来。看着精疲力尽的我，妈妈笑着教训道：“爬山不能急，脚踏实地，不紧不慢才最省力。像你这样一下子就把力气用完，是爬不到山顶的。”听了妈妈的话，我恍然大悟。

家乡的后山又高又大，山上的树木十分茂密，一直让我觉得十分神秘。今天，叔叔去后山挖竹笋，我们闹着要去，叔叔爽快地答应了。我们跟着叔叔来到后山前，叔叔提议让我们比赛，看谁到山顶的竹林。

于是，叔叔喊了一声”开始“，哥哥马上就冲了出去，像一只脱离了弦的箭一样飞了出去。我也不甘落后，而弟弟们也穷追不舍地跑着。身旁的树木也似乎与我们赛跑，但是个个都被我们“甩”到后边。

跑着，跑着，个个精疲力尽，坐在一棵年老的树下休息。我看着这棵老树，摸着它那粗糙的树皮，仿佛看着它所经历的事情：还是树苗时，它的爸爸妈妈就教育它要顽强不屈，因为我们是树，它似懂非懂地点了点头。风雨来袭，它的父母不理会它，不保护它。它绝望地站在风雨中，残酷的风雨想摧毁它。而它突然想起父母教育它的话，挺起被风雨压弯地腰，坚强地站在风雨中……

大年初一，我跟着爷爷奶奶去爬山。我们爬杭州著名的一座山——北高峰。北高峰位于杭州灵隐寺边上，号称西湖第一高峰。

刚到山脚，我抬头一看，心里“咯噔”一下，马上对奶奶说：“奶奶，我们坐缆车上去吧，不要徒步上山了。”奶奶和蔼地对我说：“不行，大年初一要登高，既然是登，就一定得自己爬，这样才吉利。”奶奶从来都是说一不二，我也不想浪费口舌，只好硬着头皮往山上爬。

“快到山顶了，快到山顶了，山顶的棒冰在等着我。”我嘴里不停地念着这些话。我就一边爬，一边念，可是山实在是太高了，怎么爬都看不到山顶。好几次我都想坐在石阶不爬了，但看着爷爷奶奶都精神抖擞地登着台阶，再看看年幼的表弟也不甘示弱，我又不好意思说出口。

终于爬到了山顶。站在山顶，我突然发现了大大的惊喜：整个西湖映入我眼帘，湖光山色相互辉映，实在是太美了。云彩就在身边飘过，感觉自己在仙境中一样，之前的疲惫顿时消散。

初一这一天，我们一家大部分时光就是在爬山中度过的。爬山过年，对我也是一件新鲜的事。

正说着，就看到一个指示牌，上面写着：你已步行100米，距离山顶还有905米。“什么，九百多米，这座山有一千米那么高吗”没有，你等会就知道了，姨夫说。途中我们还不时遇到三五成群的老人从山上下来，我很好奇。下着雨的天气，山中雾气也特别大，他们也这么早过来爬山啊。姨夫说这些老人都是过来烧香拜佛的，我们也接着爬，上去看看。还剩208米，100米，10米，哇，终于到山顶了，虽然累的气喘吁吁，但满满的喜悦藏都藏不住。太美了，雨中的山顶，雾气缭绕，宛如仙境。看着这如画的景色，拍照肯定是必不可少的，只是姨夫把景色拍的很美，把我却拍丑了，哈哈哈。

姨夫告诉我，这山上有一棵三百多年的老树，是清朝的皇帝乾隆亲自载种。哇，原来这么有意义啊。还有这座山海拔341.7米，但我们是从山底顺着斜坡爬上来，所以距离是一千多米。我们兜兜转转了一圈，就下山了，不过下山比上山就快多了，省时省力。

今天这趟雨中行，不仅欣赏到了美景，锻炼了身体，还涨了不少知识，以后这种运动我要多多参与!

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget

about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer

要下山了，我们把东西整理好，因为我们队有很多东西要整理，就比别人慢了半拍。整理完，我们迅速地下山找队伍。我们在山间的小殿前拐了个弯，终于追上了队伍。下山要经过一个斜坡，很陡，我感到万分恐惧，站在那里不敢挪动一步。有的同学“唰”一下就滑下去了，有的同学小心翼翼地一小步一小步地挪，我眼盯着陡坡，真想有人来帮我一把，这时候，黄祖峰上来了，他一边扶着我，一边对骆晨皓说：“你不要拉着王乐，我来好了!”我在黄祖峰的搀扶下提心吊胆地下了山，一脚踩在平地上，我的心放下了。

1.名词化趋势

Main features of English sentences:

1.长短句结合

Love is patient and kind. It is never jealous, boastful, proud or rude. It keeps no record of wrong that others do. It always protects, always fruits, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.

一般来讲,总结性的句子应当使用短句,而说理的句子应用长句.

2.并列复合句

这种句子属于十分难写的句子,也举一个例子:

He who wants to save his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for me will save it.

3.单一复合句

也就是我们常说的各种从句,不再举例.

句子的变化还有 It is self-evident(adj) that…….和There be 这样的句子

6.倒装

(1)将一些否定性含义的副词和短语在句首,用倒装会使句子生色不少.

Never before has such a high standard been achieved.

Hardly had he arrived when she started complaining.

(2)为使描绘更加生动,与介词同形的副词可以移动到句首,而把主语放到谓语后面去.

四、插入语

插入语可以是一个小词,也可以是一个同谓语的形式.

1.先看一个小技巧：(对there be 句型均有效)

通俗的讲,在老外眼里,主语与谓语离的越远,句子的档次越高.

2.插入语后面再接上一个定语从句;

Direct experience, a necessary means to recognize the world, which differs from knowledge acquired from books, is a major step to the cognitive world.

再看几个同谓语从句的例子:

Tip:对同谓语的解释尽量宽泛一些,有利于句子的拉长.

对于入语加定语从句开头.

就是说:将题目中的中心词拿出来,进行宽泛的解释.

Dear Mary,

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.
