我们五点十五分就开始出发了，虽然还没睡够，但一想到山顶上的美丽风景和崭新的日出，所有的困意都被卷走了。

五点三十我们到达山脚下了，我们做好了热身运动之后，就像百米冲刺似的冲了出去，好比一场长跑。这座山是前两年刚做成的，全都是水泥楼梯和水泥路，所以不用准备什么登山工具。刚从大门口走进去一两百米就看见有两条分岔路，一条是通往半山腰上的游乐场，一条是通往山顶的必经之路。我和姐姐选择了等山顶这条路，先去看完日出然后就原路返回去游乐场玩一圈就回家。爬呀爬终于爬到半山腰了，用一句现代流行语言来说就是：累得宝宝不要不要的！我们找了一张那种公园长椅坐了下来，一看表已经差不多六点了。可能赶不上日出了，所以我们拼命的跑啊跑，差不多到达山顶的时候我们看见了有一点点日出，我和姐姐笑了笑，就想风一样的女子般的冲出去。我腿短所以姐姐领先了。我们一直在山顶坐到九点多才下来，我们走到游乐场的时候正好开门了，我们就进去疯狂的浪了两个小时就回家吃饭了。

这个周六过得真充实！这是我人生第一次爬山看日出，满满的幸福感。

我们的目的地是太和寺。刚开始，我爬得很快，像只猴子似的，很快就把爸爸妈妈丢在后面，有时候还可以坐在旁边的岩石上等他们。但渐渐地，我爬得不那么快了，完全没有了休息的时间，尽管我用尽了全身的力气，也只是超过了他们一点点。我们就这样走着，过了一会儿，妈妈竟也超了上来！

这时的我已经筋疲力尽，每看见一个岩石都恨不得躺上去，但始终提醒自己继续爬，最后还是累得腿一步也挪不动了，感觉肺都要炸了，我喘着粗气问妈妈：“到太和寺还要多长时间？”“还有好长一段路呢！”妈妈（）说，“你要放弃吗？”她看着我问。我想了一会儿，又站了起来，坚定地说：“不！”然后继续和爸爸妈妈往上爬，渐渐地，感觉不那么累了，腿轻松了很多，呼吸也逐渐均匀，恰在这时，我们到了！

我顿时感到清风拂面，心旷神怡，脚步更加轻快了，欢快地在太和寺周围转了转。山上空气清新，景色美极了：树木丛生百草繁茂，花儿生机勃勃地竞相开放，再看那龙潭水库，又深又绿，像无暇的翡翠，在阳光的照射下闪闪发光，还有那瀑布，真是“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天”，那瀑布不仅像银河，还像白色的绸缎，高处的水流细，低处的水流粗，发出“哗哗哗”的声音，说也奇怪，那洁白如玉的泉水聚在一起就变起了魔术，立刻就变成了绿色，这一切都太美了。我欣赏着美景，感受着习习来风，有种说不出的畅快。我看着被自己征服的蜿蜒山路，一种自豪感油然而生，这时我被自己的坚持感动，并想要为自己鼓掌喝彩。

从此我爱上了爬山。爬山的过程虽然艰难，坚持并不容易，但只要不断努力，就能到达顶点。每一座山的山顶都有不同的风景，不但可以“一览众山小”，还可以一览众城小。平时看到的高楼大厦，在山顶竟成了一个个小火柴盒！而每天都乘坐的汽车，竟然像一只只小蚂蚁！爬山让我明白只有坚持不懈地努力才能成功，也让我们看到不同的风景，我想，接下来我会征服更多的山。

天空中下着蒙蒙的细雨，空气清新，天气十分凉爽，再加上空中云雾迷蒙，在酷热的夏天中，有这样舒服的天气，让人倍感凉爽，心情也十分舒畅。这是我们来到欢乐谷的第2天，有这样好的天气，我们准备去爬山。清晨，我们早早地就起了床，做好了登山的准备。

我们走到山脚，准备去爬这座最高的山。从山脚来看这座山，又高又陡，真不知道该怎么爬上去。再看看山上的树木，树叶浓郁，树高林密。绿色的山，点缀着一簇簇五颜六色的野花，就像穿着绿底彩花图案的新衣，上面还有半掩半现的庙宇亭台和弯弯曲曲的小溪。从山底下望去，绿的颜色各不相同：深的、浅的、明的、暗的，绿得难以形容，这绿恐怕画家也难以描绘出来。它们绿得多么鲜艳，多么美丽，多么令人喜欢!周围的山一座挨着一座，连绵不断。山上的风景也不错，可是都没前面的山美丽，所以我们准备爬前面那一座山。

我们开始登山了，因为刚下过雨，绿叶上还挂着水珠。这水珠亮晶晶的，就像一颗颗珍珠。在我登山时还遇到了不少麻烦。有的台阶才只有半只脚那么宽，上面又有青苔，害得我差点从石阶上摔下去。有些石阶笔直，真不知该怎么向上爬。只要你向后一望，会让你汗毛都竖起来。不过，心里还是有一些高兴，因为我们都爬到这么高了，许多美景都被我踩到了脚底。在我们爬山的时候，也有一些易外惊喜，我们遇到了一只棕色的松鼠，这只松鼠尾巴毛茸茸的，可爱极了。

不知不觉中，我们就走到了青牛沱，因为这里涨水我们不能过去了，从上面流下的瀑布溅起的水花和风足以把雨伞吹翻。“飞流直下三千尺”，这句话说得不错。从上面流下来的水打在巨石上，溅起了一颗颗珍珠般的水珠，犹如朵朵云雾，不少人走到这里的时候都把衣服打湿了。

这次登山让我大饱眼福，这么美的景色久久的留在了我的脑海里!

爬山，一件看似很简单的事情，却给了我永久的回忆和终生的启示。

记得那一天，我和爸爸妈妈一同去九龙湖爬山。

去的路上，我根本不把爬山这件事放在眼里，一路上与爸爸妈妈吹牛。到了景区，我便想在爸爸妈妈面前逞能，在山脚下飞速地向上爬山，一下子就把爸爸妈妈甩在了后面。我往后望了一下，不见爸爸妈妈的身影，我高兴极了！打算继续到山顶出发！时间转瞬即逝，不知不觉就爬到了半山腰。这时，我的衣服湿透了，脸也滚烫滚烫的，还大口大口地喘着粗气，望望山下，啊！好高！我不觉颤抖了一下，赶快双手抓着石阶，好像一放就会掉下去似的。现在我是多么想回家舒舒服服地坐在沙发上，吹着空调看电视啊！

这时，爸爸妈妈上来了，我刚想和爸爸妈妈说不想爬了，但这时我却看到了一位头发已经花白的老爷爷颤颤巍巍地迎面朝我们走了过来。我想：连年纪这么大的老爷爷都坚持要爬上山顶，我却为什么放弃？

于是，我重整旗鼓，继续朝着山顶爬去。

我离山顶越来越近，但我的腿都像挂了好几公斤重的铅球似的，每一步都迈得如此艰难。我又想打退堂鼓，却又看见了那位头发花白的老爷爷从我的身旁经过，他虽然也爬得大汗淋漓，但是，他却仍然一步一步地往上爬。我被老爷爷坚持的精神感动了，于是，我不知哪来一股劲儿，继续努力往上爬……

我终于爬上了山顶。站在山顶上往下看，我不禁感叹道：“哇，好美啊！”抬眼望去，只看见重重叠叠的远山次第向天边延伸过去，近处清晰可辨，远方渐渐模糊起来，消失在天边……新鲜的空气，我顿时感到神清气爽。

通过那次爬山，我不仅领略到了山顶的无限风光，还得到了一个启示：做事一定要坚持不懈，不能半途而废！这使我想到了一句名言：世上无难事，只怕有心人。只要你认真去做，就一定能成功！

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF)

with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career
