一考完期末考试，放假第一天，我和爸爸妈妈就去径山爬山了。复习了两个星期，也在家里憋了两个星期，能在阳光明媚的冬天清晨出来透透气，我的心情很舒畅。

一大早爸爸就把我从被窝里拉出来，“快点起床，我们要早点起床去坐车才不会怎么挤。”爸爸说。“好啦，好啦。”我只好乖乖起床，换好衣服我们就出发了。

the railway station was congested with travelers who rushed to the platform like a swarm of bees and then squeezed their way into the train for seats as if there would be no tomorrow.

in the restaurants, tables were shared. a platoon of waiters filed out from the kitchen armed with various containers of eatables. orders were taken feverishly and then shouted across to the kitchen. excitement reigned everywhere as waiters ran hither and thither to fill the orders.

来到山顶，一头头大象顶着一位几个头的菩萨，面带慈祥，手中拿着宝物“如意”。此时我站在海拨三千多米的万佛顶，这是整座山的处。我去参观了金、银、铜殿，里面有手饰等，有金、有银，真是大饱眼福，下山的时候，我冲在前面，听见远处有一阵水流声。

因此，引起了我的观注，我连蹦带跳的来到了瀑布面前，抬头低望，瀑布从高高的山崖上直冲下来，不由得使人想起李白的诗句“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天”，抬头也望不完，就像一条白龙一样从山顶飞向山底。

在回去的路上，我在车上回忆了一下玩的过程，极大极高的佛像，美丽的金、银、铜殿和像一条白龙的瀑布，从此我爱上了爬山。

今天，爸爸说带我去爬山，我开心得一蹦三尺高。出发前，爸爸严肃地对我说：“爬山时要穿登山鞋，要带水杯和登山棍，做什么事情前一定要做好充足的准备。”我们准备好后就出发了。

我们来到了四方山脚下，望着那高高的山峰，长长的阶梯，我不禁说道：“这么高，要爬到什么时候啊！爬上了山，那还不把我累死？”这时，爸爸走了过来，拍拍我的肩膀说：“儿子，我们俩比赛怎么样？看谁先到达山顶！”我点了点头后就立马向前冲去，一大步一大步地向山顶出发。

我爬呀爬，爬呀爬，爬了一半时，脚已经痛得不行了，汗珠大把大把地滴着，我弯下腰双手撑着腿，向上看了看——妈呀，还有那么高，我竟然才爬到半山腰！在我准备打退堂鼓时，一位老爷爷走了过来语重心长地对我说：“小伙子，这里离山顶不远了，可不要前功尽弃呀，加油！”听了老爷爷的话后我又看了看周围：前方有两个比我小的孩子说着话向上爬着；身旁还有一位头发花白的老人扶着栏杆慢慢爬着，这些景象坚定了我一定要爬到山顶的决心。于是我又呼哧呼哧地继续爬，还在心里给自己默默地喊了声“加油”。

不知爬了多久，我感觉腿上像压了两块大石头那么沉重，抬都抬不起来，准备到路边的石头上休息会儿。我刚坐下，一个与我年龄相仿的小朋友看见了我，他跑过来对我说：“请问你也要爬到山顶吗？”我点了点头，接着他又对我说：“我俩一起爬吧！一路上有个伴儿就不会孤单了，就会忘记了酸痛，听说山顶的风景比这儿更美！”我说了一声好后，就一起出发向前了。一路上我们有说有笑，就像多年没见的老朋友谈谈这谈谈那。

终于我们爬到了山顶。这里真是如仙境一般：云雾在山间漂浮着，我们就像腾云驾雾的神仙。周围的美景就像涂了颜料一般，五彩缤纷，有绿的、红的、黄的、蓝的、黑的……原来他们说的没错，山顶的确有最美的风景！

In Haimen there is a park. It’s a big and beautiful park. It has two gates. They are the North Gate and the West Gate. Many people park their bikes in front of the gates.

There is a shop at the North Gate. When you go into the park through the North Gate, you will find a large square on your right and you will see lots of trees and flowers around you. In the west of the park, there is a playground.

Sometimes some children fly kites on it and some people sit on the grass and chat. In the middle of the park, there is a lake. There are many boats on it. There is a hill in the east of the park.

The park is very beautiful. I love it very much. Will you come to visit it some day?

The Lunar New Year  a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school， and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fh and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year， almost everyone  dressed in h or her best. When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.
