Chinese New Year or Spring Festival  the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It  sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by Englh speakers. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year  not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service sues New Years themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It  also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper  a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by whing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition  a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wh peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

我和妈妈、叔叔一伙人"兵临城下"，雄赳赳气昂昂地进入黄山。我好奇地东瞧西看，“黄山归来不看岳”这真是名不虚传!我赞叹着，向上悠然迈步。

等山道中途，我已经无力说话了，只有如上了发条的玩具似的，一步一步，机械地向上爬。然而，“灾难”上游山脉来临了，我咬咬牙，开始上山。不多久，我就知道了什么叫作天堂到地狱的差距。

走到半山腰，我看到一棵树上挂满了一个个小红“灯笼”，我好奇地问爸爸，爸爸说那是野柿子，比我们种植的要小。我们还看到板栗树，上面挂着一个个小板栗，就像小刺猬一样，有的你挤我碰，有的笑开了脸……看到这些野果实，我不禁馋得直流口水。

来到山顶，秋天的美景尽收眼底，城市和山互相偎依，互相拥抱。美丽极了!

秋天的山野真美丽，那秋色令我回味无穷。

今天是建军节，为了学习解放军不怕艰苦英勇顽强的革命精神，我和哥哥、爷爷去爬山。

来到玉皇山下，我们看见一条石阶小路一直伸进茂密的树林中，小路的两旁苍郁的树木好像张开笑脸迎接我们。我们信心十足，昂首挺胸拾级而上。走着走着，我的脚渐渐的不听话了，我看看哥哥和爷爷，只见哥哥走一点路就停一下，一边走还一边喘粗气，还抱怨爷爷叫我们来爬山。而爷爷呢，好像一点也不累，不紧不慢地走着。看到了爷爷这个样子，我那里肯服输，马上跟了上去。而哥哥还是老样子。我们就这样走着走着，突然前面出现了一条宽宽的路，爷爷对我们说：“这就是盘山公路，我们已经到了半山腰了，再过一会儿就到山顶了”“太累了，我不爬了。”哥哥一边喘气一边说。听了这话，爷爷回过头来对哥哥说：“我们要发扬解放军英勇顽强的革命精神，向着目标勇敢攀登。”教育完哥哥，我们又继续往上爬。

走了一会儿，我们来到了一片竹林，只觉得凉风习习，竹叶沙沙地作响，像在弹奏一曲美妙的乐曲，让人神清气爽。走过了竹林，我们终于来到了山顶上。我们从南天门上去，接着来到了“登云阁”。在登云阁上，钱江美景尽收眼底，一叶叶扁舟在云雾中若隐若现，我就像进入了仙境。下了登云阁，我们来到了“望湖楼”。透过青烟一般的云雾，西子湖立刻进入了我们的眼帘，苏堤就像一条绿色的带子，把西湖切成了两半，湖中三个小岛像三片荷叶浮在水面，湖四周郁郁葱葱。远处一座座高楼若隐若现，犹如天堂中的楼阁……

我被眼前的美景迷住了，好像置身于仙境之中，尽情的享受着，如痴如梦。一直到哥哥喊到“下山了。”我才醒悟过来。

在下山的路上，我的心情无比舒畅，今天我真正体会到登山的乐趣——既磨练了意志，又欣赏到美景。

当我走在山中的林荫道上，倾听着鸟儿在枝头欢歌，享受着山间的清风，感受着树枝摇曳的“沙沙”声，沐浴着从枝叶穿过阳光的时候，我完全陶醉了，觉得这是世界上最舒适的环境：幽静、清新。

可我要说，登山之乐不止于此。登山之乐还在那一条条延绵不断的山路上。拾级而上，走完一级还有一级，那就像一条无穷的山路;眼前就是山坳，路似乎尽了，可是柳暗花明又一村，一拐又是一条山路;上前方好像是山头了，走上去，还有更高的山头。正是这样，我才喜欢登山，因为它象征着攀登求知的路;它也象征着追求人生的目标，走了一级，到了一个目的地，还有更高的目标，还有更长的路。这正是登山带给我的乐趣。

还记得有一次，爸爸带我上到郊外去登山。我站在山脚，望着这座高高的山，我有些发抖。可爸爸却不管我害不害怕，硬是拉我上去。同我们一起登山的还有一位白发苍苍的老爷爷。我看到这位老爷爷，问：“老爷爷，您也是来登山的吗?”老爷爷笑了笑，说：“当然了。我可是不会输给你的，别看我年纪那么大……”说完，他开始一步一步地登起山来。我想：“老爷爷年纪那么大，也有勇气登上那么高的山顶，可我呢?我怎么可以输给一个老爷爷呢?”于是，我又快步地开始登山。可到了半山腰，我没有力气了，老爷爷仍然一步步的向上走。他对我说：“登山不可以一开始就用尽全力，要一步一步慢慢地走。”我恍然大悟，我重新站起来，慢慢地走。一步、两步、三步……终于，我到达了山顶。我望着山下的风景，真令人感到舒服。登山真是给了我很多的鼓舞和勇气，使我在学习上，生活上不断的战胜困难。这就是我最喜爱的运动。它不断得给予我力量，令我振作精神，勇往直前。

When winter comes, the days are always full of rain and there are less sunshine, so it is so rare to enjoy the sunshine, people will feel excited to see the sunny days. As for me, I will be very happy when the sun comes out in the winter. I will get some plans to spend my time in the warm day, sometimes I will call my friends out and have a picnic in the park, we can not only enjoy the sunshine, but also can have a nice talk, it will strengthen our communication. 当冬天来临的时候，总是充满了雨水和少量的阳光，因此很难享受得到阳光，人们对晴天感到很兴奋。对于我来说，冬日里太阳出来的时候，我会感到很高兴。我会做一些计划来在温暖的日子里度过我的时光，有时候我会叫朋友出来，在公园里野餐，我们不仅能享受阳光，也能愉快地聊天，这能增进我们的交流。有时候我们家人也会在户外野餐，我们分享彼此的食物，愉快地玩游戏。我喜欢阳光，当我感到沮丧的时候，一旦阳光出来，我就会忘记所有的烦恼。冬日里的晴朗日子对于我来讲是如此的特别。
