过了桥，我们就到了故宫的中心部位。我们参观了故宫的最大殿堂——太和殿。太和殿简直可以用金碧辉煌来形容。殿的中间有供皇上坐的金漆龙椅宝座，宝座后面有画有金龙的屏风，宝座两侧各有三根镶有金龙的巨柱，每条龙都栩栩如生。在宝座前两侧还摆有仙鹤和香亭，据说仙鹤象征着长寿，香亭象征着江山稳固。
