故宫是目前世界上保存最完整且最大的宫殿。它有多大呢？它占地72万平方米。里面有九千个房间，假设一个人一天走一个房间得走30年，才能走完整个故宫。走进故宫的正门，映入眼帘的就是金水桥了。金水桥全部用汉白玉石所砌成，上面还有精细的雕刻，并且它的河流一路蜿蜒曲折地贯穿了故宫所有靠左的建筑。再往前走，就到了太和门。太和门的前面有着数十层的台阶，站在阶梯下面仰望太和门。我们可以看见两座威严的石狮子鼎立在阶梯旁，仿佛在镇守着太和门。太和门的红柱和绿色的壁画形成鲜明的对比，再加上黄色的琉璃瓦，凑成了故宫中最大的宫门。不仅是太和门，故宫所有建筑都是如此地精致。

走过太和门，太和殿就更加地富丽堂皇了。太和殿就是当年皇帝所在之地，那时皇上向南而坐，所有臣将面北而拜，好一派壮观的景象。直到现在，那龙椅还保留在太和殿里。如果你仔仔细细端详它，你一定会称赞不绝。因为这上面有着精细的雕刻工艺，上面雕刻的图案如有神情一般，吸引着你。一直向前走，临近神武门的时候，就可以看到御花园了。现在御花园里面的植物可都是“上了年纪”的。其中最有名的就是那颗银杏树了，它已经有几千多岁了。传说这棵银杏树是西周初期周公东征时所栽。当代书法家王丙龙先生挥毫为之写下了“天下银杏第一树”的题字。

告别了“银杏树”，走出神武门，我依依不舍地离开了故宫，感叹于中华民族祖先的智慧和勤劳，心里期盼着下次能再来北京，再来故宫。

今年暑假，我和爷爷一起去北京旅游，其中最令我难忘的便是游览故宫了。

向故宫三大殿——太和殿、中和殿、保和殿走去。那种气派就更不用说了，走上那宽大的台阶，看到那精美的龙壁，看到那透亮的地板，威严金黄的龙椅，看到那六根高大的缠龙金柱，更是美丽，听导游说，这大殿中就连一块地板都可以称作无价之宝，它运用材料之珍贵是前不见古人后不见来者的。它是明清两代皇上举行大典的场所。皇上的登极、大婚、册立皇后和每年的春节、冬至节、皇上生日以及公布进士黄榜、派将出征、宴会等大的庆典活动都在这里举行。每逢大典之日，从太和殿至天安门外，设有庞大的仪仗，太和殿前檐下设中和韶乐，太和门内设丹陛大乐，王公立于丹陛之上，一品至九品文武百官齐集于丹墀内陈设“品极山”的御道两旁。皇上出宫御太和殿，午门钟鼓齐鸣，殿廷乐队相继演奏，殿内外香烟缭绕，气氛庄严肃穆，以显示封建帝王的专贵和威严。这太和殿真不愧为世人皆知的“金銮殿”呀！

故宫建于明朝明太祖朱元璋年间，它位于北京中心，是明、清两朝皇帝和妃子还有太后住的宫殿。故宫面积非常大，在明末崇贞皇帝年间战火不断，故宫有些损坏。后来清兵越过长城，攻克了北京，中国开始了最后一个朝代清。清初顺治年间，继续修建故宫。从此后，大清每位皇帝全在那里居住办公。 今年夏天，我有幸参观北京故宫。

单外表看，就可以品出历史长河的古老。过了天安门城楼，进入故宫城门，可以看见金水桥和午门，还有护城河。金水桥只有皇帝和当级别高的官员才能过往，故宫的历史有五六百年了，里面全是古香古色的宫殿，非常气派，这是一个朝代一个国家的象征。

琉璃砖瓦、朱红色的通天石柱，金碧辉煌的皇宫大殿。这一切的一切都是我脑海中对北京故宫古城的遐想。我心中梦寐以求的，对于那个古老而又旷远的心中圣地，终于可以在今年的暑假，陪家人一起，亲自踏足这个古老又神秘的地方。

天公作美，今日晴空万里，艳阳高照，正好适合外出游玩。乘上汽车，我们从北京五环开始出发，经过北京现代的繁华，目睹着改革开放几十年后在首都北京林立的一幢幢高楼大厦，气势恢宏的北京电视塔，梦幻绮丽的购物天堂，文化底蕴浓厚的历史博物馆。车上的人见此美景，纷纷拿出相机争相竞拍，仿佛在为这些风光独特壮观的景色感到惊叹的同时，也想为自己本次出游留下纪念，不虚此行。

走过不短的门洞，在半壁城楼的阴影下，映入眼帘的是一望无垠的广场和四周整齐罗列的宫殿，首先我们去的是位于三殿之首的太和殿，由于殿内不对游客开放，所以我也随众人一起，一路走一路看，于人群拥挤的间隙间，看见殿内的金銮宝座，沥粉金漆的雕龙石柱和精致的蟠龙藻井，完全贴合了我心中对它的遐想，甚至更显得富丽堂皇。这里，是位于北京心脏的地方;这里，曾经有两朝皇帝俯首江山，气壮山河;这里，曾是多少中国人梦寐以求，心生向往的天堂!顺着太和殿，我们依次游览了中和殿和保和殿，亲手抚过那些被历史掩盖了繁华的砖砖瓦瓦，亲眼目睹着从原始时期直至清代约6000多年的中华瑰宝，亲身体会着这一幢幢未加人工砌合却完美的天衣无缝的亭台楼阁，一时间，对着北京故宫，我的心中，充满的只有浓浓的敬畏之情。

到了中午，天气渐渐炎热起来。炎炎烈日炙烤着我裸露在外的皮肤，却怎么也抑制不住我内里一颗为着用中华人民勤劳与智慧建起的千栋古建筑而分外炙热狂跳的心。一路上均是徒步而行，汗水早已沁透衣襟，走进御花园，吹着树荫下的习习凉风，眷恋不舍的走出玄武门，很快的，我们在疲累中就要告别北京古城。

抬头看天，天之蔚蓝辽阔我不敢比及;低头望地，地之厚实深沉我无法奢想;坐在归途的车中，我始终记得一个人在故宫仰看天地时的场景——是啊，天地之间，人，是多么渺小!但是，当车渐渐驶离护城河，眼中充斥的又是那些日新月异的高楼建筑，不禁让我对刚才的想法又有了些许改观。北京的昨天，绮丽而又辉煌;北京的今天，也正在顺应全球化发展的过程中不断地让我们见证了更多的奇迹。那些高楼林立，那些壮志豪言，不正是将北京推向更高更远的动力么?我们有理由相信，勤劳而又充满智慧的中国人，会在不懈的奋斗努力下，为北京、为中国创造出一个更美好的明天!

走出太和殿、中和殿、保和殿，乾清门出现在我眼前。来到乾清宫，这里是皇上休息、就寝的地方。宫内“正大光明”四个大字高挂宫中。黄色的琉璃瓦，金色的的地砖，让殿内显得霸气十足。大殿的正中央;有一个金色的宝座，除了皇上谁也不能坐在上面。宝座的两头还有暖阁。宫外的亭台楼阁，显得气势雄伟。可见，古代的劳动人民是多么的聪明啊!

再往前走，就来到了故宫最后边的御花园。御花园内古木繁花、嶙峋山石……更重要的是还有一座山：堆秀山。堆秀山石头秀美，旁边还有一个小门，门里还有一个楼梯，是通往山顶的。在山顶上，放眼望去你可以看到御花园的全景。不禁让人感觉到皇帝和妃子的生活真是太意了!

我们悠悠忽忽地转了一个下午，很可惜，还是没有把故宫转完，因为故宫太大了!72万多平方米，9000。5的宫殿，一下午的时间，怎么可能转得完?

We went to Yulong mountain this weekend. There were six persons in our group. We gathered together at our school gate at 8:00 on Saturday. We started to climb the mountain at 8:30 and get to the top at 10:00 am. We had lunch at the top of the mountain.
