天安门城楼前人山人海，我和哥哥拍照留念。然后我们走过城楼，穿过午门，跨过金水桥，再穿过太和门，来到了最大的宫殿——太和殿。太和殿是皇帝上朝的地方，殿的两边有一对雄伟的铜狮子，里面还有皇帝的宝座。太和殿的后面是中和殿和保和殿，也是皇帝办公的地方。走过乾清门就是后宫了。有皇帝住的乾清宫和皇后住的坤宁宫，后面就是御花园，里面有许多柏树和松树，还有许多奇花异草。

我们是从神武门离开故宫的。故宫又大又雄伟，真是中华民族的文化遗产。

故宫是中华民族的瑰宝，是中国人民智慧的结晶。 故宫建于明朝明太祖朱元璋年间，它位于北京中心，是明、清两朝皇帝和妃子还有太后住的宫殿。故宫面积非常大，在明末崇贞皇帝年间战火不断，故宫有些损坏。后来清兵越过长城，攻克了北京，中国开始了最后一个朝代清。清初顺治年间，继续修建故宫。从此后，大清每位皇帝全在那里居住办公。 今年夏天，我有幸参观北京故宫。

单外表看，就可以品出历史长河的古老。过了天安门城楼，进入故宫城门，可以看见金水桥和午门，还有护城河。金水桥只有皇帝和当级别高的官员才能过往，故宫的历史有五六百年了，里面全是古香古色的宫殿，非常气派，这是一个朝代一个国家的象征。

故宫又名紫禁城，中心是内宫，是皇帝阿哥妃子住的地方，外面叫外宫，是大臣官员所住的地方。 慈宁宫，乾清宫，太和殿，御花园，偏殿，四合殿……每个宫殿都非常美丽，如果你来故宫旅游，有扮作大内侍卫的人护卫，里面有龙案、龙椅，金碧辉煌，龙椅上有一条金龙，象征着皇位。故宫后方是钟表馆，是一个珍藏宝物的地方，那里有康熙、雍正、乾隆当年用过的玉玺，价值连城。出了这个地方，四周是环星拱月的宫殿，走过大大小小的宫殿后，就是珍妃井，这个井拥有着它自己的悲惨历史。 不知不觉，我已走出了城门，回头望望朱红色的高墙，我仿佛进入了历史中。看到了故宫，看到了这面朱红城墙，我赞叹古人，如何能修建这座故宫，那得耗费它们多少心血和汗水啊，故宫，真是一个奇迹！
