暑假我去北京旅游。

北京故宫，是古代建筑的珍品，也是古代艺术的瑰宝。今年暑假，我有幸到北京故宫参观，亲自感受了一番北京故宫的独有风韵。

远远地望见北京故宫，只见它气势不凡，占地非常广，不难看出这是一座古代宫殿。

走近北京故宫，便有一种庄严的感觉。大门只有一道高高的门槛，听别人说，古代人家的门槛越高，地位就越高，如此看来，皇帝的地位还真是至高无上呀。再走近几步，我便清晰地看到大门上写着两个雄健的大字——午门，爸爸告诉我，古代人们常说的“推出午门斩首”指的就是这里。古代皇族迷信地认为在自家家中绝不能斩首，所以才要推出午门。

走进北京故宫，建筑几乎都是对称的，而且处处是龙，台阶上、房檐上、扶手上雕刻的全都是龙，个个神态逼真，栩栩如生，千姿百态，让人眼花缭乱，目不暇接。城墙是朱红色的，据说这象征着荣华富贵。

再往前走，各式各样的宫院又映入眼帘，给我印象最深的是永和宫，宫殿富丽堂皇，宫门口两侧分别站立着两只石狮子，其中一只脚踩绣球，另一只脚踩一只小狮子。离石狮子不远处有一只大金炉，上面的金子好像被人用利器划掉了似的，露出了一层铜，听导游说，皇帝的原意是要造一只金炉，可那时的大贪官和珅却偷偷地用铜造了一只铜炉，外面涂上了一层薄薄的金子来以假乱真，至于炉子上的划痕，是后来被侵略者用刀剑刮下来的。听完这段历史事迹后，再看那只金炉，它好像在默默地诉说着和珅与侵略军的贪婪与无耻，让我的心里升起一丝气愤与不平。

北京故宫的最后一宫便是赫赫有名的御花园，其中有许多老树，它们依旧那样挺拔，好像一位老人，目睹了历史上的种种变迁。

走出北京故宫，我的心情很坦然，我不仅敬佩它，而且为它感到骄傲。

北京故宫，是历史的重现，是古代劳动人民勤劳与智慧的结晶，它不仅美丽，而且有深厚的历史底蕴。北京故宫不仅象征着荣华富贵，也记载了历史的屈辱，激励着下一代人要努力学习，建设祖国。

老妈带我去过首都北京。在北京我们参观了举世闻名的紫禁城，现在人们把它叫做故宫。这里可谓是雕梁画栋、金碧辉煌，无比豪华而壮丽。

站在午门前的广场上，你会觉得一切都变小了；走进五光十色的珍宝馆，你会觉得世间的珍宝也不过如此；逐一参观三宫六院，你更会因为那处处闪烁的金光、银光刺得眼睛都倦怠了，而懒得细细观赏那些平常以为很高贵而又精巧的`工艺品。

我还来到了举世闻名的万里长城，听老妈说：“长城初为秦始皇下令修筑，前后共抓了几十万民工，用了九年才完工。长城的修建，有利于抵御北方匈奴的骚扰，因而保证了一方百姓的正常生产生活，对中原一带经济发展起了重要的作用。站在长城上，我心潮起伏，不仅赞叹古代人民的勤劳智慧啊，长城，你是千万劳动人民的血汗凝结而成的，你是中外建筑史上的奇迹！”

10月4日早上，我们先坐地铁4号线再转1号线来到了天安门，今天我们去参观故宫博物馆。

我们第一个看到的是端门，端门城楼中间挂着一幅很大很大的毛主席画像，左右两边各是一行字，一个是“中华人民共和国万岁”，另一个是“世界人民大团结万岁”。第二道门是午门，妈妈说这个地方是以前砍头的地方，很多的人被皇帝在这里砍了头。第三道门是太和门，里面有太和殿，是皇帝搞庆祝活动的地方，也是故宫最高最大的一个殿。再进去就是皇帝的后宫，很多东西都是用金子做的，其中有一个叫储秀宫的，听说是慈禧太后住过的，爸爸说这个慈禧太后非常坏，她只知道吃喝玩乐。

还有一个御花园，里面的树非常的大，都已经有几百年了，还有很多假山，假山上有亭子，很多人在上面拍照。还看到了用整块石头刻成的九条龙，这个有200吨重，还有古代的电话机。
