故宫，又名紫禁城，为明清两朝皇宫。它北依景山，南靠金水河，约72公顷。在导游“翟大人”的带领下，我们沿着那朱红色墙面，黄琉璃瓦顶的城墙，穿过天安门、端门和午门，即被眼前的景象惊住了：一座座高大的宫殿稳坐正前方，殿身反射的阳光如万道金光刺穿了周围的一切，一道道城墙镇守住四面八方。再往里走，最让我震撼的要数太和殿了。太和殿是古时举行殿试的地方，十年寒窗苦读，多少文人为的就是最后能踏进这座大殿啊！远观，殿顶有两层，全是金黄色的，中间是蓝底金边的三个大字“太和殿”。走进殿前石阶旁，仰望，屋檐微微翘起，打头的是一个骑凤凰的仙人，吻兽、走兽、望兽紧随其后，一根根流畅的线条搭配上明快的色调，勾勒出一幅堪称完美的苏绘彩卷。门前，有两头威武的青石狮子，一雌一雄，雌的脚踏小狮子，雄的脚踩金球。大殿内，镂花梁柱间无不体现出威严与尊贵，地板上铺设着二龙戏珠场景的“金砖”。我仿佛看到了几百年前皇帝坐在大殿中央接受应试者们的叩拜，他那求贤若渴的眼神。几轮选拔后，状元、榜眼、探花产生，他们脸上无不流露出自豪与喜悦！

后来，我们又来到九龙壁、保和殿、宁寿宫、养性殿等景点一饱眼福。站在故宫的甬道上，我仿佛看到了鱼贯而出的前清遗老，看到了一个文明的亘古不倒。细细思索，是什么让故宫如此之壮美？一定是祖先们的智慧和汗水，还有那深厚的历史文化积淀，赋予了它无限蓬勃的生命与活力。

沈阳故宫始建于后金天命十年（1625年）是清太祖迁都之际草创，清崇德元年（1636年）由皇太极建成。1644年，大清迁都北京，“沈阳故宫”从此成为“陪都宫殿”。“沈阳故宫”是清太祖努尔哈赤和清太宗皇太极修建并使用过的宫殿，距今巳有360余年的历史。在全国现存宫殿建筑群中，它的历史价值和艺术价值仅次于北京故宫居全国第二位。它是中国历史上最后的一个封建王朝的发祥重地，也是清统一中国后东北地区政治经济中心。

沈阳故宫占地6万多平方米，有楼台殿阁各式建筑70余座，由20多个院落组成，总计房屋300多间。故宫按自然布局分为中路、东路和西路三部分。

中路：是太宗皇太极时期的大内宫阙。南端是大清门，也是故宫的正门。向北依次是崇政殿、凤凰褛、清宁宫，它们都排列在一条中轴线上，两侧还有一些对称式的附属建筑。

大清门是日常朝会时文武大臣侯朝的地方，也是清太宗接受群臣谢恩之处。明朝着名将领洪承畴降清后，就从此门进入，受到皇太极的接见。大清门东侧这处建筑叫祖庙，祖庙是爱新觉罗家族祭祀祖先的地方，因是天子的祖庙也称“太庙”。

顺着大清门北面的御路拾阶而上的，台正中便是气势宏伟被称作“金銮殿”的政殿。它建于后金天聪六年（1632年），崇德元年定名为崇政殿。崇政殿为五间九檩硬山式建筑，南北辟有隔扇门，前后是石雕栏杆。殿顶盖为黄琉璃，十分壮观的。殿内掾间绘满飞云流水，梁架上全部是“和玺” 彩绘，给人以高洁典雅之感。殿内明堂有堂陛的，前是金龙蟠柱，柱后有贴金雕龙扇面大屏风和金龙宝座，宝座两侧有鼎式香炉、轩辕镜和太平有象等装饰之物的。殿前有大月台的，月台东南角有日晷，西南有嘉量亭，都由大理石雕造而成。在月台上还设有四口大缸，都盛满清水以防水灾。古代称它是“门海”，来象征缸中水多似海可扑灭火灾，所以又被称作是“吉祥缸”。因为北方天气寒冷，所以每到冬天，就要在缸底点燃炭火。崇政殿是清太宗日常朝会议政的地方，1636年皇太极的称帝大典及清天聪十年四月“后金”改国号为“大清”的典礼就在这里举行。1644年清迁都北京后，历代皇帝东巡时，都在这里临朝听政。

今天，我们去游故宫。来到故宫我就看见了电视里看到的皇宫，真大呀!导游带我们来到了皇帝上朝的地方，睡觉的地方。还有皇后、皇子、公主们住的地方。据说故宫有九千九百九十九间半，我们走了一个下午还没走完一半呢。

我们还参观了珍宝馆，里面有许多皇帝、皇后、公主们用过的宝贝，看得我眼花缭乱。和珍表馆，里面有许多的表，其中一个我最喜欢了，名叫铜壶滴漏，是由5个铜质壶组成，壶口间以龙头玉管向下滴水。正面三个敞口敛底方壶总称播水壶。壶盖上立报刻漏箭的铜人，箭身刻十二时辰，九十六刻，这是最早的钟表。

故宫里我最喜欢的是屋顶的彩绘。几千年过去了，还是这样的美丽。古人真厉害。
