北京是我们中国的首都。在北京，有许许多多的文化遗产，其中，故宫是我最想去的地方。1987年，北京故宫被联合国教科文组织列入世界文化遗产名录。就这样，北京故宫成了全世界人民都向往的地方。

故宫位于北京中轴线的中心。北京故宫以三大殿为中心，占地面积72万平方米，建筑面积约15万平方米，有大小宫殿70多座，房屋9000余间，主要由两部分组成：一是前外朝，二是后内廷。

迈过午门，踏过内金水桥，再穿过太和门，展现在眼前的除了宽阔的太和广场就是那座高大宏伟的建筑——太和殿了，亦称金銮殿。这座城内最大的建筑，也是我国现今最大的木制构架建筑之一，是历代天子们举行盛大礼仪和接受万民朝拜的场所。其实不光是他们，单是我自己站在殿前俯视整个广场，也会不由自主的产生那种君临天下的威仪之感，难怪那时人人都想“称天子，坐龙椅”呢。呵呵。这样也就更加理解为什么独它享有三层高8米多的汉白玉台基了。台基周围围以栏杆，且每个栏杆上都雕有用于排水的龙头，每逢雨季则可呈现千龙吐水的奇观。哎，真期待能有机会看一看啊。

漫步在这座宏伟的宫墙里，脑海里数度显现的当然是书本上和屏幕上的那些熟知人物和场景。“钟粹宫、景阳宫、承乾宫、永和宫、景仁宫、延禧宫、储秀宫、翊坤宫、长、咸福宫、永寿宫当然还有养心殿等这些耳熟能详的名字，虽早已成了脑海里的专有名词，但真正的当那些宫宇尽在眼前，看到那一件件刻满历史印迹的珍贵文物，听着那一桩桩发生于此地的事情，想着那些一个个鲜活过的人物，又不得不发出”物是人非“的感慨。

当然除了这些还有许多著名的建筑，只是他们大多都为被列入开放的范围之内，想慈宁宫，漱芳斋等。当然还有屡屡在清宫戏里听到的浣衣局，太医院，辛者库，等等。实在是有些遗憾呢。当然还有令人意外的地方，像堂堂大清国的军机处，居然只是位于太和广场左上角的一小排低矮的房屋，真的是感觉和名字甚是不搭啊。可是，麻雀虽小，五脏俱全，想当年有多少君王的重大决定都是通过这里被传达到全国各地的呢。

总的说来，这一次的故宫重游还是收获很大的。很多在以前理解不了也体会不到的感觉现在是满满的挤进了胸膛，对它也是更加重了些崇拜和喜爱之情。希望有更多的人喜欢它当然最重要的还是好好的保护这座饱经风霜的”历史见证者“吧。
