I plan to go to travel alone this summer vacation. I have traveled several times, but gone with my family or friends, never did it alone. 当我们进入午门时，我就被威武的气势震住了：真想不到在好几百年以前人类竟然能造出这么宏伟的建筑！来时在车上，听同学说太和殿前的大路只有皇上能天天走，还有是皇帝大婚时新皇后一生可走一次，每年大考的“状元、探花、榜眼”能骑着大马昂首挺胸地走过之外，别人是不能走的，所以我一进太和门就在那又长又宽的大路上走了一圈，尝尝当皇上的滋味。

过午门，首先映入眼帘的就是太和殿，接着是中和殿和保和殿。故宫最具吸引力的建筑就是这三座宝殿，人称“三大殿”。听导游说：他们都是建在汉白玉的石基上，犹如一座人间仙境。第一座大殿太和殿是三殿中最富丽堂皇的建筑，俗称“金銮殿”，是明清两朝皇上举行大典的地方。太和殿殿高28米，东西63米，南北35米，御座设在殿内高2米的台子上，前有造型精美的仙鹤、炉、鼎，后有精雕细刻的书法围屏，真是美不胜收。

往事如烟过，始知今非昨，壮我少年志，兴我大中国！

丽江古城有800多年的历史，曾经是茶马古道(the old tea horse road)上的一个贸易集结点(confluence)。丽江因其有序的水道和桥梁系统而闻名。丽江古城在建筑、历史及其原住民纳西族(the Naxi people)的文化传统方面不同于中国其他古城。古城沿山脉和河流而建，为我们提供了一个研究古代建筑的非常珍贵的样本。独特的地理位置、历史背景以及多民族的居民，都使丽江成为最特别的古城之一。

今年暑假，我怀着快乐的心情来到了故宫。进入午门，绕过太和门，就来到了广场。这里据说是当年百官朝拜的地方。

走过广场，踏上石阶，便来到了故宫中最大最雄伟的宫殿——太和殿。太和殿规模宏大，橙黄色的琉璃瓦闪闪发光。琉璃瓦屋顶下，有几圈刻着龙凤、祥云的花纹、朱红的宫墙，看出了当时皇族至高无上的权力。透过窗子，隐隐约约地看到了一座龙椅。我看着太和殿，眼中浮现出了当年的情景：在皇帝登基的那天，大臣们站在大广场，为新皇帝进行九拜之礼，而皇帝则安坐在龙椅上，接受文武百官的朝拜。一阵风吹来，把我从想象中拉回现实。我离开了太和殿，向别的地方走去。

绕过了中和殿、保和殿后往东走就是九龙壁了。九龙壁中的九条龙惟妙惟肖，姿态不一，虽然经过了几百年的风雨侵蚀，仍然栩栩如生。

我离开了九龙壁，再往北走。经过宁寿宫，便来到宁寿花园。宁寿花园里有一个大湖，湖水清澈见底，就像一面镜子在那里为旁边种着的许多种类不同的花木记住它们的美丽容貌，有牡丹、梅花、桃花，还有许多叫不出名字的……花园里还有几座凉亭，坐在里面，可以休息、喝茶，欣赏这美丽的风景。还有几座用石头砌成的小假山等等，漂亮极了。

故宫的景色壮观雄伟，说也说不尽，希望你有机会也去细细游赏。
