Up to the time of my writing this article, Aero has been helping me with my selecting the courses with great effort. He is a friendly and zealous guy. So I declined his kindness.  The very next day, I got a cough and it later turned out to be a four-day high fever. In those days, I was extremely weak and lay in bed all day long and hardly had any strength even to eat. I lost the power to keep an eye on the possible vacancies of the English courses ever since I got a high fever. I began to regret declining Aeros offer. Just at that moment, Aero called,asking about my health and told me to have a good rest, saying that he would shoulder the responsibility of selecting my English courses for me. 今天我们去故宫游玩，故宫是明清两代的皇宫，曾经居住过24位皇帝。相传一共有9999间半房子，实际有8707间，如果每天住一间，住到25岁才能住完。这么大的宮殿，我一定要好好参观一下。

从午门进去，首先看到内金水桥，桥柱是用汉白玉做成的，上面雕刻了龙的图案。过了桥再穿过太和门就到了三大殿，最前面是太和殿，它是紫禁城中最大的宮殿，里面有许多柱子，我和哥哥两个人才能抱住，太和殿是皇帝举行重大典礼的地方。中和殿是三大殿里最小的一个，它是皇帝暂时休息的地方。保和殿也较大，殿试就在这里举行。

过了三大殿就是皇帝居住的地方乾清宫，上面有一个匾，写着‘正大光明’，殿中间有一个宝座，我真想进去坐在宝座上当一回皇帝。后面就是交泰殿，再后面就是坤宁宮，它是皇后居住的地方。最后是御花园，那里面有许多古树，东西两侧还有许多宮殿，但是我们只去了一小部分，就到了故宫关门的时间了，我们只好依依不舍地离开了故宫。

My mother is not tall, not short but slim. She has a round face, two big eyes, a small nose and small mouth. She’s beautiful. She is forty-three years old, but she looks so young! She is my dear friends .

You must feel very strange to my father because he having full-white hairs, just look like a old man. My parent’s relationship is old husband and young wife. He is older than my mother 20 years. He can as my grandfather at his age.

You can see that my father wear a long sleeve shirt and look like a gracious man to camera. In my daily life, he is a bad-tempered man. He looks up to boy and down on girl. So he is very strict to me because I am a girl. He takes particular care for my brother. Well , his finger is long and thin. He often uses finger to tooth my ears as I was a child , wow!

北京故宫，原名“紫禁城”，始建与明永乐年间，历时14年建成。它规模非常宏大，占地7.2平方千米，建筑面积为1.5平方千米，有房屋9000多间，黄色琉璃瓦屋顶，红色的围墙和蓝色护城河把它与外界隔开。从建成到封建帝制结束，近500年间共有明、清24位皇帝在此登基。它是一座壁垒森严、巍峨壮观的宫殿，也是世界上规模最大，最完整的古代宫殿，是最大的历史博物馆。

故宫的建筑是严格遵守对称的规则，沿南北走向的中轴线排列。而这条中轴线的建筑，更是故宫的中心，这些建筑都坐北朝南，处处体现着皇帝的尊严。故宫可分为前朝和内廷两部分，二者界线在乾清宫，因南为前朝，北为内廷。前朝与内廷的建筑无论从风格和用途上完全不同。故宫的前朝包括最南端的午门，后面的太和门以及所谓的三大殿：太和殿，中和殿，保和殿。前朝高大宽敞，富丽堂皇，是皇帝会见群臣，处理政事，举行重大庆典的地方；保和殿的北面就是故宫的内廷，这里是真正的皇家禁苑。从前到后包括乾清宫，交泰殿，坤宁宫，御花园。内廷房间相对狭小紧凑，是皇帝皇后及嫔妃生活起居的地方，并且后宫等级分明，都体现在建筑规模，形式，间数，屋顶装饰及所在位置上。单说位置吧，皇后住在坤宁宫，在知道你刚刚后宫最中。东西六宫分别有两个正殿，四个偏殿，若干侧殿。分别由两位贵妃统领妃嫔等人居住。而贵人、常在，答应则只能住在东西六宫的侧房。

乾清宫是进入乾清门的第一个内廷大宫殿，正中设有宝座，分东西暖阁，是明、清两个朝代皇帝的寝宫和活动场所。

坤宁宫建于明永乐年间。清顺治二年则按照满族的风格习惯重新改建，宫内格局完全依照沈阳清朝故宫清宁宫的样式布置。内有东暖间，这是皇帝大婚的洞房。坤宁宫在明代就是皇后的寝宫，到清代虽有所改变，但仍是“正宫”。

紫禁城历经500多年，是封建社会的见证，其传统的建筑艺术和丰富的珍贵历史文物，更是劳动人民智慧的结晶。

我来到北京，开始了北京的生活。

到了北京，我第一天要干什么呢？当然是去北京最著名的景点之一—故宫。

我，母亲，姐姐和三妈一起去故宫。故宫的人可真多呀。此场面真是壮观，先过了金水桥，然后进了天安门城楼。后来看见了一个石头雕成的很多龙的图，听母亲说，那是一整块石头雕成的。我想：妈呀，那么大块石头是怎么弄进去的呀，还是在没有现代化的工具之下。

我 们又往里走，来到一个门的门口，我看见了一对又大又完全整的青铜狮子。哇，哇，哇，过了数百年还能保存得如此完整，真是了不起。之后我们来到太和殿。只见 门外有很多人围在那里。我很奇怪，他们怎么都围在外面不进去呀？走近一看，才知道不让进殿，只能在门外的铁栏外向里看。里面除了皇上的宝座，几根大柱子， 几乎没有其它东西了。我很奇怪，怎么堂堂皇帝上朝的地方怎么这么简陋？唉！真是太悲哀了。

之后我们有到了御花园、各种各样的亭子和宫殿。这一天的旅行结束了，回去吃饭了。

下雪了，雪花纷纷扬扬的飘落下来，一朵朵雪花落在地上连成了无边无际的雪海，真像我在飞机上往外看到的云海，洁白无暇。我们小朋友就非常喜欢雪天。有的打雪仗;有的堆雪人;有的筑城堡……。我们玩得高兴极了，一点儿也不觉得冷。

去年冬天雪下得真大，冰冻也厉害。一次大雪中，我和奶奶发现我家后院有许多晶莹锡透的冰雕：有的像柱子、有的像高山、有的像长龙……千姿百态，就像我们在黄龙洞看到的景观。我拿照相机从各个角度拍了许多照片，别人看到了都问我有这么令人向往的景观吗?

虽然冬爷爷很严肃，可我还是很喜欢冬天，我更喜欢冰天雪地的冬天。

When summer holiday comes, I always go back to my hometown and spend the time with my grandparents. I like the life there, it is so simple and happy. Living in the countryside, I feel the peace in my heart. It seems the days become longer. In the morning, I hear the cock make out the sound, as if it is singing, then I wake up. Sometimes I will go to the mountain and I can hear some birds singing. I enjoy listening to these birds’ sound. I am so close to the nature. I love everything that the nature brings. 暑假的时候，我总是会回到老家跟爷爷奶奶在一起。我喜欢那里的生活，它是如此的简单和快乐。住在乡下，我心里感受到了平静。在这里的日子似乎变得更长一些。早上，我听到公鸡的声音，好像是在唱歌，之后我就醒过来了。有时我会跑到山上去，可以听到一些鸟儿唱歌。我喜欢它们的声音。我是如此的接近大自然。我爱大自然带来的一切。绿色的树，五彩缤纷的花朵，干净的水甚至是新鲜的空气。我找到了它的美。
