这种说法有一定道理，但并不是根本原因，实际上高考作文已然成为社会命题，它紧扣着时代的特点和节奏。梳理一下近几年的高考作文题不难发现，不少热点新闻和事件出现在了命题中，比如去年的作文题“女儿举报父亲开车打电话”，就来自于真实的新闻事件;又比如今年上海的作文题：随着现代社会的发展，人们的生活更容易进入大众视野。人们对“评价他人的生活”这种现象的看法不尽相同，请写一篇文章，谈谈你对这种现象的思考。显然，在智能手机的普及和社交媒体极度发达的背景下，个人的生活很容易暴露在公众视野下，该题目无疑紧扣了这种时代特点。

回到这次的“如何提升语文素养”一题上来，看似并没有关联什么热点话题，但细究起来却并非如此。其一，这几年，国学热在持续，回归传统文化、点燃学习母语的热情成为潮流;其二，制度层面也更加注重对于传统文化的呵护和发扬，这体现在语文上，不但有教材中古诗文内容的增加，还有某些地区“语文从150分提高到180分”的高考改革方案。

而进一步看，之所以出现“如何提升语文素养”的作文题，也有引导母语学习的意图。点燃人们学习母语的热情，不仅是为了让大家用好语言工具，更重要的是，语言之中凝结着文化与历史，如果我们不能很好地学习母语、使用母语，那就无法打开回归传统文化的大门，也就无法继承祖先们世世代代积累下来的厚重的人文精神。

每一道高考作文题都不是脱离时代而给出的，实际上，出题人也会预料到一道题目所能引发的舆论热议。“如何提升语文素养”是一道大题目，关乎着大热点，它不仅是高考考生的必答题，更应成为每个人的必答题。
