星期天早上，毛毛吃完早饭,去后院的小花园玩。他看见花园里有一棵茁壮的小树，叶子绿绿的，树干直直的。毛毛觉得这棵树很好玩，就跑过去抓着树干摇了起来。刚开始，毛毛只是轻轻地摇，后来越摇越厉害，把树干都摇弯了。

这时，爸爸看见了，急忙跑过来，说：“毛毛别摇了!别摇了!”毛毛马上停住了。只见爸爸侧着身子，把耳朵贴在树干上。毛毛奇怪地问：“爸爸，你在干什么呀?”爸爸严肃地说：“我在听小树说话。”毛毛更奇怪了，问：“小树怎么会说话呢?它跟你说什么了?”爸爸说：“小树在哭呢!它说你把它的根都快摇断了。”听了爸爸的话，毛毛不由地脸红了。是啊，树木是人类的好朋友，我们要保护它。
