暑假又到了，我经常在报纸和电视上看到像“近几个月省因严重缺电而造成巨大的经济损失”，缺电给居民的生活带来很大的不方便”等种种缺电的消息。我原以为缺电的危不会很大，可没想到却给大家带来这么大的影响，真的是大出乎我的意料。

自从人类发明电以来，电给人类带来了享受不尽的幸福。电不但改变和丰富了我们的生活，把我们带进了美好而神奇的世界，而且也为人类征服自然提供了无穷的力量。但是现在人类对电的依赖性越来越强，且浪费电的现象也越来越普遍，导致电的紧缺和停供。

要知道节约用电对发展国民经济有重要意义。勤俭节约是我们民族的传统美德 ， 节约能源，也是勤俭节约的一部分，但我国却没有做到，反而国外比较重视节约用电 ， 从政府到市民都有极强的节电意识 ， 也有一些节省能源的好方法。一度电有多少作用啊 ? 如果每户人口每天节约一度电，我国有十三亿人口，那么一天下来可以节约多少度电啊 ?

我们每一名公民， 都应该从我做起， 主动节约用电。节约用电也有一定的方法：一 ： 减少开冰箱的次数，并缩短开、关的时间，可降低冰箱耗电量放东西时应待食物冷却降温后再放入冰箱，以避免浪费冷能。二 ： 少用空调。炎热的夏天，许多人都在使用空调，这是造成电力紧张的主要因素。我建议你少用空调，因为使用空调太耗电了，而且会生空调病。平时，还是扇扇电风扇好了。除了节约用电这些方法以外，还有很多，需要自己去寻找。

我决心要做一个节约用电的小公民，我发现，原来节约用电是可以从身边做起，从一点一滴做起的。我提倡号召全市人民立即行动起来， 积极开展节约用电活动，做好节约用电的宣传， 积极倡导身边每一个人， 养成节约用电的习惯， 珍惜电能，节约用电，从我做起，从现在做起。让我们大家共同努力，像珍惜生命一样地珍惜每一度电，为节电贡献自己的一份力量!电是人类的好朋友，祖国的建设和发展需要它。请大家行动起来吧，让我们合理不浪费使用每一度电，发挥它应有的价值吧!
