whats more, none of us could imagine how ecellent his ancient chinese literature was. what he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into english. however, under the pressure of college entrance eam, the students didnt seem to be so interested in his performance. therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of times as prizes for answering questions. it worked on us instantly.

on the day of the entrance eam, he waited nervously with us out of the eamination room. he kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the eam. not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

To tell you the truth, I dont like the Spring Festival at all. When I was

young I liked it very much,because I could had something tasty to eat during the

Spring Festival,and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes,too. I also could

had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I dont

like it now, there are many reasons.

Firstly, I cant have a good time during the Festival. Every New Years Eve

something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.

Secondly, I cant relax myself during the Festival. I have to do many

things, watch so many TV programmes, meet so many people,all these things make

me very tired.

Thirdly, spending one Spring Festival means that I become one year older. I

The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers, new CLASSmates and fresh friends are around me。 The grand library, school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. In high school, I was ever called as a runner before time. Now,I know I am behind time so much in fact. I hope to catch up with the time by my hard studying. When I entered the CLASSroom at first time, I was headache as I couldn’t understand what the professor was speaking. Today the crime rate in cities of our country is rising. Many citizens

often complain about the thefts and robberies that have taken palce in the areas

they live in and appeal to the governments at all levels to take effective

To reduce the crime rate, we all the people should receive a law education.

This is the first diary I’m writing in the youth summer camp.

Everything is new to me, new class, new teachers and new classmates. My

classmates are all good students and they can speak English well. I think I can

learn a lot from them, and I can make friends with them.

The teacher from china is full of emotion when giving a class. And her

class is very interesting. To my surprise our foreign teacher can speak chinese

very well, but in my opinion, her class is a little boring. She should have made

the class more active.

Compared to my school, Zhejiang University seems so big that it takes us a

few minutes to commute between the classroom and cafeteria.

这位来自中国的老师讲课时感慨万千。她的课很有趣。令我惊讶的是，我们的外教汉语讲得很好，但在我看来，她的课有点无聊。她本该让全班更活跃。

与我的学校相比，浙江大学似乎太大了，我们从教室到食堂之间要花上几分钟的时间。

Youth has been praised by many people. They believe that it is the most

precious time of ones lifetime, because youth stands for young age and energy.

So we should cherish youth and do whatever we like. In my opinion, when we are

young, the first thing we need to do is to fight for our future. So we spend a

lot of time studying and gain much knowledge. The store of knowledge helps us

solve all kinds of problems. When we have enough ability, we are no longer

afraid of meeting difficulties. The second thing we need to do is to broaden our

vision. As we are young and full of energy, it is the best time to see more

scenery. Dont wait for retirement to explore the world. What we see will make

Now I am on the train to Guilin. The views are beautiful and I feel happy.

Mother told me there is only one day to go to arrive in Guilin. We bought a lot

of stuffs and they are heavy. So I took some bags from mother. She said I am

growing up and I smiled happily.

一个弱女子在奋不顾身的状况下，其户外技能的水平居然能远远超过训练有素的户外员。类似的事件也曾在英国及美国发生过。在一个夏天，美国一位残障、一向以轮椅代步的年轻母亲，在她孩子失足掉进游泳池的时候，她连人带轮椅冲进泳池，救起了她的孩子，并随即实施人工呼吸，救活了她的孩子。事后警方当局请这位母亲描述她的整个经过时，她却答不上半句话来。

而在英国伦敦的一场大火中，一名妇女竟可独自一人左手扛彩电，右手扛保险柜冲出火场。事后，她在众人的啧啧称奇中，自己也觉得不可思议。

从上述的三个例子中，我们能够了解一个事实：那就是人的潜能无穷。生活中不是“能不能”，而是“要不好。”
