Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

透过窗户，看着日落。太阳慢慢从地平线消失，越来越少，越来越小。就像我的假期，也快结束了，开学在倒计时中慢慢迎来。

度过了自由自在、无拘无束的两个月，马上要迎来新的学期。不禁感叹道短暂的自由时光过得真快。转念想想，开学后又可以见到两个月未曾谋面的同学和老师，心里就有一丝兴奋。但是，即将投入紧张的学习状态，每天在题海里遨游，难得有个双休日也不能松口气，歇一歇，心里又添了些许焦虑。恋恋不舍的告别了两个月的假期生活，又埋怨时间为什么过得这么快。

六年的小学生活结束了，即将踏入中学。

中学，一个既陌生又熟悉的词，它蕴含着一丝神秘。曾经无数次思考着：中学生活会是什么样的呢？是紧张吗？还是别的什么？会和曾经的小学同学分到一个班吗？会认识新同学并成为朋友吗？上了中学以后学习成绩会和现在一样吗？是更好还是会下降呢？一切都是个未知数。

曾经也无数次幻想：迎着朝阳，走在上学的路上；踏着夕阳，走在回家的路上。清新的早晨，奔跑在校园的街头；温暖的午后，漫步在校园的小路上。初春的早晨，和同学们在操场嬉戏；夏天的傍晚，在校园的大树下排练节目；秋日的午后，在学校的椅子上看书；冬日的上午，和同学们在一起打雪仗、堆雪人……这些是多么惬意。

听大人们说，中学这个阶段很重要，要打好基础，以后学起来才不会累。曾经有一个学姐(她比我高一年级，很优秀，是个非常好的姐姐)对我说：“中学这个阶段很重要，一切要以学习为主，别的都是次要的。”学姐这番意味深长的话，使我有很大的感悟。谢谢你，学姐，那让我们一起加油吧！

Learning English is a hard but meaningful thing. I had access to English when I was seven years old. I was taught to study words first. It was difficult and I learned them every day. Then, I started to learn short conversations. After practicing, I can talk with my friends. Suddenly, I was pride of my English because I can use them to talk .No pains, no gains. My hardworking pays back. What’s more, I can write compositions by myself now. I love English and I will insist on learning English.

学习英语很困难，但是也很有意义。在我七岁的时候就接触英语了。一开始我是先学单词。很难，所以我天天都学。然后，我就开始学习简短的对话。通过练习，我可以用英语跟我朋友聊天。突然间，我对我的英语很自豪，因为我可以用英语交流。没有付出，就没有收获。我的努力得到了回报。更重要的是，我现在可以自己用英语写作文了。我喜欢英语，我将坚持学习英语的。

林语堂先生的一句话：”我要能做我自己的自由，和敢做我自己的胆量”，短短两句却道出人生真谛，其人生境界深邃而高远，必是历经千锤百炼，内心千回百转，不断修为完善方能领悟的。

在一则故事里有这样一个问题：“女人真正想要的是什么？”有个女巫给出了正确答案：“女人真正想要的是主宰自己的命运。”其实这不仅仅是女人想要的，这是人想要的。这个女巫每天中有一半是丑陋的女巫，一半是倾城的美女，宽宏大度的丈夫把选择在白天还是晚上做美女的权力交给了她自己，于是这女巫全天便做了美女。人只要主宰了自己的命运，做了自己，什么时候就都是美的了。但问题是有多少人知道什么样的自己是自己呢？

一个木纳谦和而生性又有几分冷漠的工程师，由于技术出色，被提拔为服务经理，这意味着公司领导的认可，更好的待遇，更高的地位，我想常人都难以拒绝，于是走马上任。然而由于服务工作的繁杂，客户的刁蛮，公司管理要求的苛刻，半年后挂在他嘴边的一句话就是：“我要回去做技术。”他侃侃而谈怀念的是他当年如何沉溺于技术研究时，给他带来的至今回味无穷的快乐，可以看出技术是他成就和快乐的源泉。然而回去已不可能，于是坚持，企图突破超越自我，在一次风尘仆仆，满脸疲惫的客户走访回来后，他终于怒发冲冠地跑到财务部门，“谁要是再敢拦着我，我就当面把电脑砸了！”他终于突破了本性，开始用暴力和愤怒代替谦和了。

可能这些都是成长必须要付出的代价，然而谦谦君子也好，怒发冲冠也罢，人总要了解自己，成长的过程才不至于过分痛苦。在利益地位名誉等社会价值的驱动下，有多少人可以在自我和社会角色之间游刃有余呢？对自我的迷失往往成为换取功名利禄的代价，这是可悲的，但这一定不是必然的。

一个知性婉约的职场丽人，你很难和一个专横艾怨的妻子形象联系在一起，一个职场跋扈易怒的男人，也很难和一个妻管严的形象联系起来，但是这样的人绝不是个例。人的多面性是有的，人多重的社会角色使得人不得不表现出个性中不同的方面。有些人在家蛮横，在外顺从，有些人则相反，无论怎样每个人能够承受的内心压力是一定的，在家也好在外也罢，压力太大就会发泄到另一个环境中。那么哪个才是他们自己呢？我的答案是他们都不是，这些人一天到晚所做的都是社会角色赋予给他的，他们每天都在努力调整着自我去适应这些角色的要求，按照好丈夫好妻子的标准要求自己，按照好员工好老板的角色上班，他们是非常勤奋努力的善良人，但却往往忽视了自己。所以他们无论怎么努力都摆脱不了内心的冲突，摆脱不了一半美女一半巫女的生活。

人找到自己不易，而如果一个人过分注重外在的评价，活在别人的目光中时，找到自己的可能性就更小了。正如陶醉在别人对自己美貌赞美中的人，积累不到岁月的馈赠，活在以财富赢得的世人羡慕中的人，永远寻不到内心的那份平静。即便找到自己的人，做自己也需要能力和勇气，需要勇气面对漫长的平凡，需要勇气接受别人对自己的误解，需要勇气面对他人诧异的目光，需要勇气听别人的非议，需要勇气接受别人不屑的评价，需要勇气素颜面对眼角的皱纹，更需要勇气接受自己的不完美。

所以做自己是人一生的课题。做自己绝不是越来越自私冷漠，更不是出世离俗与世隔绝，做自己的人，内心平静，他们既是职场优秀的员工，也是温和能干的家庭成员，内心的平静赋予了他们充沛的精力，轻松的心情，平和的态度，智慧的眼睛，他们自然有能力去搞定生活的琐碎，工作中的挑战。

做了自己，女人就可以是24小时的美女，男人也可以是24小时的谦谦君子。做了自己才知道快乐不用追求，那是与生俱来的上帝的礼物。

有个作家说他写作是为了得到上帝的表扬，而我也问自己为什么执着于思想和智慧的追寻和探究，我的回答是：我之前所有的努力和积累都是为了做我自己，我在为我每一篇作品画上句号的那一刻，上帝已经表扬了我。
