都说父爱是沉默的，总是很难被人发现。我曾经也这样感觉，但那一件事后，让我改变了这种看法。

那是我刚进入初一时的那一段时间，或许是对初一的不习惯吧。曾经在班里是班委的我，竟对突然没有职务的自己感到不自然。每天总是闷闷不乐的，对每一个人都是不予理睬。或许爸爸已经注意到了，但他什么都没有说，只有妈妈在一旁鼓励我，这不禁使我对爸爸产生了反感。

只是那天中午，使我改变了这种看法。

那天中午刚回到家，爸爸就迎了上来。笑着说：“女儿，饿了吧?快点洗手吃饭。”我答应着，快速洗完手坐在餐桌前。只是看到午饭后，我完全失去了胃口——桌上只摆着一盘清炒苦瓜丝。

我本想放弃不吃，但看到爸爸满含期待的眼神后，还是勉强的夹了一根放进了嘴里。但刚一触碰到舌头，就不由自主的吐了出来，说什么也不肯吃了。

爸爸没有生气，只是笑着说道：“苦瓜虽苦，却有清凉解暑的功效。其实，慢慢品尝，它的苦中也有一丝甜。不信你再试试。”

我半信半疑地夹起一根放进嘴里。虽然很苦，但我却忍住没有吐出来。细细品尝，竟感觉苦中透着一丝甜，我不由的点了点头，冲爸爸笑了笑。

爸爸语重心长地说道：“每一样东西都有自己的特点和味道，生活亦是如此。不要总是直接否定一切，时间长了也会慢慢发现它的好处。”

我似懂非懂的点了点头。突然间，我明白了爸爸的用意。那每日的山珍海味与今天的苦瓜丝不就像是原来被老师器重与现在不被人注意吗?如果总是处在别人顶上的环境中或许就会堕落，迷失自我。而苦瓜丝又像是一种提醒，在几乎快要迷失自己的时候予以提示。

回忆从前的点点滴滴。原来爸爸也总是很关心我，只是我从未注意。上学时，身后那熟悉的背影;每天早上起来，厨房里那熟悉的背影;我失败的时候，总是喜欢轻轻的抚摸我的头……一切的一切，无不体现出了父亲对我的爱。父亲的爱从未是沉默的，只是我们总是忽视了父亲的爱，父亲最子女的爱从未亚于母亲对子女的爱。

翻开日历，发现还有几天就是感恩节了。我想，就用这篇文章来表达我对父亲的感恩与感激吧。感谢父亲对我点点滴滴的鼓励与关爱。

都说“父爱如山，母爱如水”。从小我就知道妈妈是爱我的，我也爱她。可是爸爸呢?他经常指责我，批评我，甚至在妈妈批评我而我不听时会扬起大巴掌揍我。每当那时，我常会质问爸爸：“你怎么都不爱我?你为什么都打我?”但去年发生的一件事，却令我明白理解了爸爸的爱。

有一次，我数学成绩只得了75分，老师说一定要叫家长检查并签名。我看了试卷，有许多题目都是因为粗心大意才做错了，我忐忑不安地等待着爸爸回家。时间过得真慢，5点，5点10分，5点20分……爸爸要回来了。我想起爸爸平时对我的告诫：“你不会做我不会怪你，但是，千万不能粗心!”结果这次考试考砸了，都是因为我的马虎，爸爸会不会打我呢?这样想着，我不禁暗暗祈祷：时间再慢一点吧!可是——5点35分，外面传来“开门啦!”的声音。爸爸回家了!我边给爸爸开门边胆战心惊地对爸爸说：“爸爸，我考试考差了。”爸爸顿时大眼一瞪，怒气冲冲地问：“几分?”我小声地说：“75!”爸爸放下包，问：“为什么?”我低着头将试卷递给爸爸，说：“因为粗心大意!”爸爸把脸一沉，将手一扬，我感到一阵风，就赶紧往后一缩，用手抱着头，等待爸爸落下的大巴掌。好一会儿，咦?没有疼痛的感觉，我歪着头偷看爸爸的脸，爸爸却不看我，我又低下头，只听得爸爸严肃的声音：“这一次就算了，给你机会，下次不要再这样了，听到没有?”我立刻欢呼：“听到了!”爸爸让我去订正试卷，我说：“已经订正好了。”爸爸检查了一遍，才在试卷上签下了他的大名。我如释重负。

晚上睡觉时，妈妈告诉我：“其实爸爸是爱你的，只是表达的方式不一样，对你严格要求就是他的爱。只要你知错改错，他是舍不得打你的。”妈妈和我讲了很多话，爸爸为了带我们去旅游，做了很多的准备工作;爸爸每天晚上为我盖被;爸爸打伤我后自己心疼得直掉眼泪……

那天，妈妈的话让我想了很多。我终于知道了，爸爸的爱是扬起却不曾落下的大巴掌，是我犯错后对我严厉的批评，是提前给我打“预防针”的一丝丝话语……
