9月10日清晨,我早早地向河对岸奔去,河对岸是“菊花村”,那里有许多自然生长的野菊花,色彩明丽,香味是那么诱人,一路上,小草为我鼓劲儿,蝴蝶为我加油,小桥与小河似乎都缩窄了,是我很快的走进了菊花村,哇!一望无际的菊花,这里的菊花可真多啊,红、橙、黄、绿、蓝、紫……加上附近小树林中曾举行过的画国画菊花比赛的作品。这里的菊花可真美啊,高点儿的,矮点儿的,花瓣大点儿的,花瓣小点儿的,一阵清风吹来,“菊花村”成了“菊花洋”,层层的菊花起伏着,加上菊花倒映在水中,已经分不清那里是花,那里是水,那里是岸。我连挑剔的心情都没有,因为花儿太美了,采了一大把,迅速向学校跑去,一路上,我心里有说不出的高兴。

到了学校,除了我,没有一个人,看看学校的钟,才5:00,我更高兴了,我悄悄走进老师的办公室,原先,只要一踏进办公楼,心里就“砰砰”直跳,今天,却很冷静。走到了老师窗前,推开窗户,窗前就是老师的办公桌,桌子左上角是一本日历,上面还是7月份的,已占满灰尘,可以看得出老师连翻日历的时间都没有,桌子右上角放着一台地球仪,球面上全是老师的沾满粉笔灰的手印,地球仪的下面有一个笔筒,里面全是笔,呀!老师真节约呀,一枝不到5厘米的铅笔竟还在用,笔筒右边是一瓶盖子还没盖好的红墨水。桌子中间放了一本关好了的语文书和教学参考书,一副框架磨得发亮的眼镜……我看着看着,老师那中等的身材,霜白的两鬓,有皱纹的额头和慈祥的目光,浮现在我的眼前,那嘶哑的嗓音,亲切的教诲,热情的鼓励和严厉的批评,环绕在我耳际。

我把日历翻到了9月10日教师节,把一束菊花轻轻地插进了老师的笔筒,菊花代表我对老师的感激。另一束放在日历旁边,代表着今天祝老师节日的祝福。一阵瑟瑟的秋风吹过办公桌上几束色彩艳丽的野菊花散发着浓郁的芳香,弥漫了整个校园……我默默的念着:老师,我不是您最出色的学生,而您是我最尊敬的老师。在您的节日里,我把这份特殊的礼物送给您,老师,节日快乐!

老师从此再也没有讲过课,不过有很多学生跑到家里去要求老师授课,过年过节我们大家还去看望她,

老师老了,在心里像是我的母亲,在这教师节即将来临的时候,说一声

那是在一个晴朗的早晨，我们正在安安静静地听老师讲课。忽然，下起了倾盆大雨。是不是云爸爸和云妈妈吵架了，小雨点们都悄悄地溜了出来。“糟糕！”我差点叫了起来，我还没有带雨伞呢！

很快就放学了，我先和同学共伞，走出了校门。我十分焦急，忽然，我看到了妈妈的身影，因为妈妈是一个近视眼，她找不到我，在那儿东看西看也十分焦急，我想：“妈妈真辛苦，这么大的雨，还来接我。”我加快了脚步，走到了妈妈面前，对妈妈说：“妈妈，我在这儿呢！”妈妈转过身来，对我说：“冷吗，可别着凉了。我们快回家吧！”我点了点头。说完，妈妈就拉着我的手，向家走去。

一路上，妈妈总怕我被雨点娃娃打到，所以，总是把雨伞向我这边靠，可是，她却被雨淋得全身湿淋淋的。雨越下越大，妈妈让我走到没有水的地方，面她却走在十分湿的地面上，有时，她却踩在水坑上，她的裤子也湿了。

过了一会儿，我们就回到了家里，妈妈给我穿上了一件棉衣，我十分感动。

During their first winter, over half of the settlers died of starvation or epidemics. Those who survived began sowing in the first spring.

On the dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes. There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years.

Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives, it is not easy to get a consensus on the precise kind of stuffing for the royal bird.

Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year s bounty and reverently ask for continued blessings.
