【解释】

这句话是“珍惜时间”话题的必备表达。既可以放在文章开头，又可以放在最后一段第一句。

日记也是我们高考英语作文中会出现的一种类型，怎么样写日记能够拿到更高分呢?

第一，注意日记的格式：一般是左上角写当天的日期，右上角写当天的天气情况(cloudy/ clear/ windy/ rainy/ fine/ snowy…)。日期通常采用两种写法：一种是按“月、日、年”顺序;另一种是按“日、月、年”的顺序。注意要在年份之前有一个逗号，而且月份通常可用缩写词(如：Jan., Feb., Mar.等)。如果需要写星期，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。如：Monday, May15th, 2008或May15th, 2008, Monday

第二，抓准日记的时态：日记记叙的时间通常是在当天的下午或晚上，因此所用的时态多为过去时态。但应灵活掌握，如果日记叙述天气、描写景色或为了描写生动，也可用现在时。

第三，日记一般按事情发生的先后顺序记述，所以常需借助一些表示先后顺序的词语，如at first, then, later on, afterwards, finally, at last等。一定要注意句与句、段与段之间的连接和过渡，适当使用一些过渡词语使其连接紧凑、过渡自然。

第四，确立日记的中心要点，尽量突出主题，可以通过对某个细节、某个侧面的描写来突出主题，千万不要写成一个流水帐。

Thirty-eight years ago, the late Chairman Mao called on us to learn from Lei Feng. To mark the occasion, we organized an activity at a nearby bus station today.

Love Makes Beauty

With the fantastic spur both in industry and economy，the past 100 years has seen how modernization and civilization has affected mankind. Recently，Copenhagen is being a focus for its Climate Change Conference. A majority of people hold the belief that climate change is the pressing threat for mankind.

However，acknowledging the great abundance of harms that the changing climate will bring，I‘d say the most immediate threat is just ourselves. I always imagine a view of life filled with fresh air and various flowers swung in gentle wind. But the reality shows this is a real fantasy. With the fantastically developing industry and the rising number of personal cars，not only the air but also the water is at risk universally. Heal the world

Nowadays，world leaders are in Copenhagen talking about climate change. Who has such a strong power to gather them from busy work?It‘s our mother——the Earth that has told her kids to start to heal the environment for the pressing threats they are facing now.

It‘s commonly thought that lots of countries are blind to the protection of environment while developing the country. And as the quality of life has developed，many families have its own car. As a result，more and more CO2 has caused the earth to be a “Green House”。If no measure is taken，a large number of kids won’t see the lovely and beautiful snow in winter before long.

To my delight，some people have been concerned about the environment. The movie >is just a good example. It took me 150 minutes to watch the movie. When the world is at an end，can anyone heal themselves?It‘s obvious that the answer is No. It’s commonly accepted that what the director wants to tell people is that we should take measures to beautify the environment at once or we‘ll die soon.
