啄木鸟一家住在一座树木茂盛的大森林里,那里的环境清新幽静,许多路过森林的动物在这里安居乐业,静寂的大森林渐渐变得热闹起来。

一天,沉睡的小啄木鸟被一阵奇怪的声音给吵醒了。

啄木鸟妈妈带着小啄木鸟顺着发出的声音寻找声音的源头。它们飞到森林最高的一棵树上向下眺望,看见一个伐木工人拿着斧头砍树,嘴里还叼着一支香烟。

小啄木鸟好奇地问:“妈妈,这个人是谁?他为什么要砍树呢?”妈妈叹了一口气,沉痛地说:“他是一个伐木工人,是专门砍树的。这个人呀,脑袋里有两只虫子,一只叫做‘自私’,还有一只叫做‘贪婪’,它们才是砍树的罪魁祸首,就是这两只虫子在作怪,是它们使人变得越来越坏。”

小啄木鸟听了妈妈的话,非常生气,它愤愤地说:“真想啄开那个人的脑壳,看一看里面到底有什么虫子!用尖尖的嘴巴啄掉那一支烟头,用爪子撕成碎片。如果烟头被他扔到草丛里,一定会引起火灾的!”可是,那是不可能的,至少啄木鸟妈妈不会让孩子冒这个险的。

哎,如果人类再不注意保护环境,失去家园的就不仅仅是鸟儿了。任何降临到动物身上的是,终究会降临在人类身上。

所以我不惊诧外国的天是多么的蓝。我知道，他们也阵痛过，乌烟瘴气过，只是危害没这么大。所以我们要尽量减少这种破坏，避免一些无谓的损失牺牲，和重建修复的痛苦。自然环境是我们的起点，是大地和上天的恩宠。我们不能为暂时的物质环境，去破坏它，再治理它，做一些无用功。

由于过去西方媒体对中国报道的片面、失真和黑暗性，导致国人一直处在他们的想象之中。像《二马》里的温都太太，觉得中国人多可怕呀，杀人放火带吸毒，啥坏事都干。咋会喜欢花，喜欢狗呢！然而几十年过去了，他们还是这样想我们。岂不知在几千年前，中国就有“窈窕淑女，君子好逑”这样的诗句，就有《诗经》，就有爱情，就有文化，就有礼仪，就有《项链》里马蒂尔德幻想着的满屋子的东方丝绸。只是有些人用耳不用眼，才导致了另外一种愚昧和无知；只是我们在工业革命到来时，闭关锁国，停滞落后了很多年。

在上次我们地区出现雾霾，那时天阴沉沉的，在书里比做人间仙境，可在现实却是这样的。

雾霾主要是通过天气严重的变化，对人体的健康造成伤害，也给人们出行带来不便。
