My favourite animal is a dog.I had a dog when I was ten years old.Its name is Lily.Its a brown and white dog.It does everything with me.Everyday I give it some water to drink and some food to eat.At the weekend,Ill make it take a bath.At that time,the dog is very gentle.And I like it very much.This is my favorite animal----a beautiful,gentle and lovely dog.

People’s whole life is not too long or too short. They have experienced

many things in their life journey, such as, success, fail, happy, sad, and

excited and so on. What about dreams? Some people think that they have so many

things to deal with in the limit time. How can they spend time for dream? It is

a waste of time. However, some people regard dreams are as important as their

life. People can’t live without dream. In my opinion, I agree with the latter

idea.

First of all, dreams provide life motivation for human beings. If a person

has a dream, he will try his best to take every chance to reach it. Even though

he will meet many difficulties on the way, even has to give up, but he will

renerve in the end. It is because he has dreams, and he has the desire to see

the day his dream come true. So no matter what obstacle he meets, he has the

motivation to overcome. This is the power of dreams.

In addition, life without dreams is meaningless. We often see that when

someone talks about his dream, his face is full of smile. It is because dreams

give him hope and fun. No matter the dream is easy to make it or not, when the

people think of it, they will have the beautiful vision to fight for. But if a

person who don’t have a dream, he would not know what he should do and can do.

His life is confused and meaningless.

In a word, dreams look like the lighthouse in the ocean. It gives people

motivation and the meaning of their journey. It is so significant that everyone

needs dreams.

It plays an important role in social lives of human beings, which some

people consider that it’s the basic of human existence.

On the one hand, it’s the communication that spreads information, making us

know the news although it’s far from us. By communicating with others, people

send and get information that helps us know about our surroundings. We all know

that information is extremely important in our lives. On the other hand,

communication builds personal relationship, which connects different people

together. We live in the same society which makes personal relationship

essential in lives. Only with communication can we build and keep good personal

relationships with others. In addition, communication can eliminate

misunderstandings and promote emotions. When we have misunderstandings with

others, timely communicating is the only effective way to solve it.

In short, communication is essential to all people that everyone should

realize that. Therefore, we should learn how to communicate with other

而我呢？便用手帕做成小狗衣服穿在小宝身上，它一动也不动地任我们摆布。我和妈妈把小宝打扮得很酷，它似乎也对这身打扮得满意，在客厅里走来走去，炫耀着它的美丽。我和妈妈都被它逗得捧腹大笑。 小宝特别爱卫生，所以我们每五天给它洗一次澡。在给它洗澡时它老是闭着眼睛一动不动得让我给它洗澡，偶尔调皮地舔我的手。洗完澡后，它便用力甩干身上的水，然后跳到沙发上安适地睡觉，还不时发出唔唔的声音，也许是它在说梦话吧！ 可惜，两年的美好时光一恍就过去了，小宝因吃了有毒的食物中毒身亡。我非常地伤心。如今每当看到别的狗，我便想起我家的小宝。我最喜欢的动物是一只美丽又可爱的小白兔，因为它身上有一层雪白的毛，远远看上去像一团棉球。它的头上有一对长长的耳朵，像一对棉花棒。它有一双红红的眼睛，半圆形的嘴巴，还有一个又粗又短的尾巴。有时候我做完作业，很无聊，我就跑过去，逗它玩。它喜欢吃的食物是什么呢？

告诉你们吧，它喜欢吃的食物是青菜和萝卜。有时候我去拿了一根青菜，引它。它看到青菜，高兴地蹦啊，跳啊。我不给它吃的时候，它就一直盯着那根青菜，好像对我在说：“我已经肚子饿了，你就给我吃吧？谢谢你了！”可到最后，我看它饥饿又可怜的样子，我忍不住就把青菜给它吃了。我喜欢的小动物是纯白色的猫，它全身白似雪的毛让我无比喜爱，它的眼睛白天眯成一条缝，晚上圆溜溜的，活像两颗绿宝石。他的耳朵一直翘着，只要你动一下，他的耳朵就会动一下；他的听力十分敏捷，只要有人轻轻走过，它就会“喵喵”的叫；它的牙齿很坚硬，又尖又长，吃起东西来十分轻松，我很喜欢它。

记着有一次，我的哥哥到我家来玩，小猫无比热情，一直冲哥哥“微笑”。哥哥见他这么可爱，便拿出一根很粗的毛线，要知道猫最喜欢玩毛线了，哥哥提着毛线，小猫也跟着走，毛线从拐弯处过去，猫一下冲过去，没有抓到，自己倒扑了个空，我和妈妈哈哈大笑，猫有点生气，哥哥换了一块布，过了拐弯处，小猫冲去，又扑了空，这下哥哥成了“斗猫士”了。

哥哥又把五个凳子摆成一排，把毛线放在凳子口，小猫一下冲过去，奋力咬住了毛线，我为它欢呼，为它高兴。

冬天来了，我给小猫盖了一个温暖的窝，它非常高兴。

I have read the book called Readaholic recently. I can know a lot through reading. I can learn some foreign culture and habitude . It is really interesting. Most of my classlates are interested in it.

So I read these stories again and again. Finally,I learnt many new word.I felt very excited. My English is very poor in the past, through reading , my marks has been largely improved.

For example,In China,we should not give a top to a waiter in a restaurant. But in England you must do it. I learnt so much knowledge by reading. This book also introduces a lot of famous cities ,such as Beijing,Oxford,London and so on. Londn is my dream city. It is a wonderful and old city. There are many places of interest in London . Tower Bridge, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, St Pauls Cathedral and Millennium Dome, all of the above attractions are popular for holiday. I like London eye best. It is a very large wheel that I can go around in to get a fantastic view of London.That is the weather is clear. Do you like London, too?

Nowadays, Hollywood movies dominate the market and many young people take

these superheroes characters as their idols. So some people start to feel

disappointed about the local culture, because they havent seen its essence. As

the world gets globalization, it is in need of building peoples sense of local

cultural heritage.

The preservation of our cultural heritage is the necessary task. The

culture contains the essence of Chinese peoples spirit, which has been tested

by time. When people admit our culture, we will be proud of being part of the

country, so as to enhance the unity and have the desire to make a contribution

to the society. The loss of cultural heritage will destroy a country, which can

As the young generation faces the cultural shock in the globalization, so

寒假里，我去了广州的长隆野生动物世界。它是亚洲最大的动物园，也是我心目中最棒的动物园。

长隆野生动物园分为自驾区和步行游览区两部分。一到动物园，我们先去坐小火车游览自驾区。小火车一路开进去，我看到了蓝孔雀、羊驼、双峰骆驼、毛来貘、白犀牛、白袋鼠、白虎，还有火烈鸟和长颈鹿等。这些动物都是放养着的，有些懒洋洋地躺着，有些在吃东西，还有些在路上慢悠悠地走着。小火车开过，动物们随时和我们来个亲密接触，真有趣！火烈鸟名副其实，远远望去，就像一团团火焰；还有一种名为“reddeer”的马鹿，没有人知道为什么要叫“reddeer”，难道是因为看上去有点红？最有趣的是“模特”——长颈鹿，他们在绿油油的草地上走来走去，样子挺文雅，但是我给他们喂叶子时候，有一只长劲鹿居然把我手中的树枝一口夺过去，把树枝也吃进去了。呜！好险！那一瞬间，长颈鹿抢食的力量差点把我也拉出去了！

自驾区游览完毕，我就直奔步行游览区。我最喜欢的是考拉园，考拉长得有点像小熊，有着一身灰褐色的短毛，只有胸部、腹部、四肢内侧和内耳的毛是灰白色的，最喜欢吃桉树叶。它总是趴在树上，所以又叫“树袋熊”。我在考拉园的桉树林找到了三只考拉：第一只缩成一团在树上睡觉，第二只也差不多姿势在树上睡觉，第三只还是趴在树上睡觉！考拉真是睡觉大王！但是我还是找到了一只没在睡觉的考拉，一只正在醒着狂吃桉树叶的考拉，这只考拉是专门和游客合影的。哈哈，我和这只醒着的考拉合了一张影，留作纪念！

白虎园的白虎跳水表演也很精彩！饲养员把肉吊在线上，引诱白虎跳水来吃。白虎一开始在岸边愣了一下，我还以为它是不是吃饱了？正在我猜想的时候，吊着的肉不见了，白虎也扑通一声跳下水，激起了一个大浪花，引来了观众的热烈的掌声！

犀鸟也是“名不虚传”，它头部和身体都是黑色，嘴巴弯弯长长，上黄下白，头上还带着一个黄色的“头盔”，像顶着一个香蕉。它非常聪明，还很灵活，只要饲养员扔一个葡萄给它，它就会飞过来一口咬住吃下去，然后根据指令在树枝上左一跳右一跳。这么聪明活泼的犀鸟却面临着危机：我在新闻上看到有人把野生犀鸟的头砍下来做饰品。实在是太残忍了！希望所有的人都能爱护鸟类，人人有责！

这次游玩长隆野生动物世界非常难忘，我带着好奇心来，存储着知识满载而归！大家都来看看吧！
