今天是大年初一，很早外面就传来了鞭炮的隆隆声，我从梦中被那隆隆声惊醒了。

一早，我根本想不到今天是大年初一，等我拉开那薄薄的粉色窗帘时，看见街道上人非常少。“今天到底是什么日子呢？”爸爸走过来，问我在想什么呢？我对爸爸说：“今天到底是什么日子呀？”“今天当然是大年初一喽。”

晚上，满天都是漂亮又发光的烟花。看着那一个个烟花从地上像剑一样射出去，我忍不住也想打一下烟花了。于是爸爸就去超市买了一箱烟花来。由于烟花盒说小孩子不能随便打，所以我只能让爸爸打。爸爸点燃了火，我连头都还没回过来，那烟花就已经像小猴子一样忍不住想探出头来看看风景了，它已经闷的够受了。等我回过头来，那烟花在天空中像欣然怒放的花朵，扇动着自己美丽的花瓣，不久在天空中小时了。今天的大年初一真是太热闹了，晚上很晚了那鞭炮声一直在街道上传个不停，我躺在床上，渐渐得我变在隆隆的烟花、炮竹的声音中进入甜甜的梦乡。

贴春联也给我的春节增添了不少快乐。一大早，我就吵着闹着要去买春联和福字。走在大街上，许多店都关着，应该是回家过年了。突然，我眼前一亮，终于有一家开着，便冲了过去挑了几对春联和许多张福字。回到家，我立刻拿着透明胶和那些春联和福字，去门上、窗户上贴了起来。忙了一会，望着这些贴好的春联和福字，我不禁开心地笑了，我感受到了浓浓的年味，也希望好运气时刻陪伴着我!

每年春节都要和奶奶去烧香拜佛，今年也不例外。早上4点多，就从床上爬起来，和奶奶梳洗一番，然后向寺庙出发。一路上，呼呼的北风刮得我的脸真疼，不过我还是坚持下来了。到了寺庙，我们要先买香，然后去大厅一个一个地拜。

把香点燃后，我们还要跪下再拜一次。跪拜时，我很诚心，希望佛祖保佑我的学习进步，家人身体健康。虽然知道这是迷信，但我还是很希望得到保佑，当然我也知道最重要的是靠自己的努力。拜完后，我们还要去吃一碗小团子。我吃完后又偷偷的跑到点蜡烛的地方，等没人了，轻轻地说上几句祝福的话。

今年的春节我过得有滋有味，很快乐。我也明白自己已经长大了，一定要努力学习，为了自己的理想而努力了。

It is a celebrating day. I got in touch with Michael whom I have been losing contact for one year.

It is really magic. I was searching online aimlessly yesterday when an idea struck me suddenly: since Ben can find out my secret by keying in my name in the search engines, why can’t I do so, either?

I intended to find out something about Ben in revenge in the first place, but soon extend my name list to a wider category. It was then that I recalled Michael suddenly.

We have lost contact since our last correspondence in my senior 3. He mentioned to me in his last letter that he was preparing for going to UK to further his education. I, shamefully, was too busy to reply his mail then. When I was recommended to ZJU and won the final freedom, I thought he had already been in UK so I had no idea where to write him.

I used to think that we would never meet again. However, when I browsed the entries about him, I found out excitedly that he is still in P.R.C.!!

Without a moment hesitation, I ran upstairs to my dorm and found out my old address book. Thank goodness, his home no was still there.

After 3 times calling with no answer replies, I eventually got him on the phone. He was more surprised than I could imagine that when I asked for his hp no he was too nervous to remember it. :P Hehe.

Life is enjoyable in moments such like this. Old friends meet again surprisingly, on a road of their own ways to their dreams. they look at the face of each other, and recognize the old pal. It is such moment that makes me feel grateful to life: whenever I set off for a new destination, I see I have friends in the same direction, with whom I won’t feel alone any more.

吃完晚饭，爷爷来分红包喽！我和哥哥都欣喜若狂，心花怒放，红包里到底藏了多少"红钱"呢？可真让人着急。爷爷突然说："今年涨价了哦！比去年多600元，1000 600=1600元！“6”是个吉利数！

晚上八点整，我们一家人准时收看"新年联欢晚会"，听那悠扬的歌声，使人陶醉，欣赏那优美的舞蹈，使人赞不绝口，看那有趣的相声小品，使人开怀大笑，此时，欢乐的气氛荡漾在我们身旁......

今年的新年，真有意义，愿今年比明年过得更好！更充实！

过年了啦，我又长一岁了，增长了身高，增加了体重，有增加了许多知识，也该更懂事了。

The Importance of Breakfast

As people are so busy with their work, they go to work directly in the morning without eating breakfast. Some people think not having breakfast does no influence on their body health. Some believe breakfast is important to peoples body health. In my opinion, Im convinced that we should have breakfast because it is good for our body health.

First of all, breakfast offer us the energy we need for the day. Before breakfast, our body has consumed all the energy we get from previous meal. Consequently, we need to eat some food in the morning to get enough energy and nutrient to support our body. If we dont have breakfast, then we have no enough energy to do our work efficiently.

Secondly, people who skip breakfast will get weight easily. If you dont have breakfast, then you will eat more food at noon and in the evening. Generally speaking, we dont have much excise in the evening while we eat too much food. As a result, the surplus calorie will be stored in our body and make us fat.

All in all, people should eat breakfast for the good of our health and for the good of keeping a good body shape.

其次，不吃早餐的人更容易肥胖。如果不吃早餐，你将会在中午和晚上吃大量的食物。通常来说，一般人们在晚上的活动量会很少，但是，我们由于吃了太多的食物，那些多余的热量会储存在我们的身体里，让我们变胖。

总之，人们应该吃早餐，不仅为了身体健康着想，也为我们能够保持一个好的身材着想。

As we all know, fire is one of the most terrible killers in our modern society.We know that fire is mainly caused by smokers, followed by defective insulations and children playing with matches.In 2002 ,thousands of fire happened all over the country, of which 50 percent was caused by smokers who left cigarette-ends everywhere.Those who smoke should make sure that the cigarettes are stubbed out before being thrown away.Also, smoking should not be allowed in public places.30 percent of fire was caused by defective insulation. Workers should know the importance of good insulation for people’s lives.At homes we must pay special attention to electric wires and make sure that they are safe.20 percent of fire are caused by children playing with matches. We should warn children of the danger of playing with matches.

No matter what type of the reason it was, there was one thing in common:carelessness.So if everyone in the country is careful enough, more fire could be avoided.

但为什么要过年呢?以前我是不知道的，看了《十万个为什么》才知道，原来过年是我国最隆重、历史最悠久的传统节日。没逢过年，人们都要举行辞旧岁、迎新春的活动。为了节日的快乐和热闹，还要放鞭炮、玩狮子、舞龙灯等等。

为了祝贺新的一年里的品感和健康，人们采用了拜年的形式向长辈和老人拜年。我在过年时就去过农科院、宝塔山、北大桥等地方，向亲戚和老人拜年。总之，我在过年时，玩得特别开心。

“我和你，心连心，共住地球村……”，还记得这首叫《我和你》的歌吗？还记得这首北京奥运会开幕式的主题歌吗？我可是一直牢牢记在心上，还时不时地哼起这首歌，这旋律总在我脑海浮现出来，于是生活中我和你的情景也随之一一呈现……

您是我的妈妈，您生我养我，您对我有养育之恩。您这么爱我，把我照顾得无微不至，我想到自己平时有事没事就对您发脾气，心里就很内疚，又不好意思向您道歉。可我只是赌气而已，其实，我真的很爱您。长大以后，我要做个有出息的人，养活您和爸爸，让你们过上更好的日子。

在我的寒假里，发生了许许多多的事，最难忘的还是初六的晚上发生的一件事，它让我明白了做母亲的辛苦。

初六的下午，妈妈的好友陈阿姨来我们家做客，陈阿姨有个七个月左右的女儿。白白净净、圆嘟嘟的脸蛋，真想咬上一口。不大不小的眼睛，看什么都觉得很新奇。还有一张小巧玲珑的嘴巴总是咧开着在笑，可爱极了!陈阿姨抱着她宝贝的小女儿在我身边坐了下来，好像在和我说，又好像在和她的女儿说道：“我们家的小宝贝最喜欢和帅哥美女玩了，是不是呀?”搞得我和表弟哭笑不得。

到吃晚饭的时间了，我和表弟快速地吃好饭，准备奔向电脑。这时，从客厅里传来一阵“呜呜”的哭声，吵得我们不得安宁，无奈，只好把门关上，可那哭声又从门缝里钻了进来，传入我们的耳中。我心生一计，对表弟说：“咱们哄哄小妹妹，不就没哭声了吗?”“对呀，赶快!”表弟眼睛一亮，迫不及待地说道。

说干就干，我们先拿出我的毛绒玩具，哭声是没有了，可是她却抓着毛绒玩具的一角含在嘴里，我着急地说道：“我的上帝啊，这玩意儿可是不能吃的啊!”然后硬是从她的嘴里拔了出来，“呜呜呜——”我的姑奶奶啊，你怎么又哭了啊，我受不了了，然后硬着头皮抱起了小妹妹，嘴里还说着：“哦——不哭不哭，不哭不哭。”

你问我弟弟去哪了?他跑到楼上，拿出了我三年级做的模型，在妹妹面前有模有样的玩了起来，妹妹的那对不大不小的眼睛，紧盯着那对模型，终于伸出了小手玩了起来。我把妹妹放在了沙发上，长嘘一口气，对弟弟竖起了大拇指。

通过这件事，我明白了，父母养育我们实属不易，我们应该从小就好好学习，长大了报答父母的养育之恩。

过年真好！我能放鞭炮！我拿起鞭炮，用打火机点燃导火索，手一松，鞭炮就飞了出去掉到地上，飞速地旋转起来，真像一个陀螺！小伙伴们也和我一起放，许多鞭炮在地上旋转，真像一个大圆盘！转着转着，有的鞭炮就会互相碰撞，只听“啪”的一声，两个烟花都不转了！懒懒得倒在那儿，像一个个在沙滩上晒太阳的孩子！我们互相嚷嚷着：“真好看！真漂亮！”

过年真好！我能穿上新衣服！上衣是鲜红色的，代表着喜庆；裤子是牛仔的，代表着男孩的“酷”。我穿完新衣服，连忙跑去照镜子那里，呵！真像一个小帅哥！我又轮番跑到家人面前炫耀，他们都说：“真漂亮！“我心里美滋滋的。

过年真好！我能走亲戚，挣压岁钱！姨奶给了我200元钱，我乐呵呵地说：“这回我也有钱了！”

Today is the first day of te new term. I got up early and checked my wintcr vacation homework before going to sclool.

While I was busy clearing up the books, Father came in with a glass of milk in his hand, Drink it up, boy .Father said to me gently.
