“黑咪”是个“贪吃鬼”，一到吃饭时，它就围着我，就像在说“都到吃饭时间了，快给我添饭。”于是，我们就给它添饭、夹菜，一看见饭来了“黑咪”就“三步并作两步”来到了饭跟前津津有味地吃起来，吃饭时要有一点声响，它就立马把饭衔到一个僻静的地方继续吃，吃完了就不见踪影。果真是名副其实的贪吃鬼！

跟狗打架、和鸭子斗嘴，都是它的游戏。有一次，狗向它下了“挑战书”，于是他便来到了战场——院子里，一开始，它俩互相撕咬，谁知狗咬疼了“黑咪”，“黑咪”就发出了猫独有的叫声，把狗吓得一溜烟跑了，这才平息了“风波”。

可是，不论我们多么喜爱它，它都保持着原有的性格，可就是因为这样，我们才觉得它是那么天真可爱！

Nowadays, people prefer to travel by air. This is because air travel has

some advantages. First of all, airplane, the miracle created by man, is the

fastest means of transport. It takes the least time for one to travel by air

from one place to another. Besides,travelingby air is convenient and

comfortable. Friendly air hostesses are affectionate and considerate. They look

after passengers all the way to their destinations. In addition, on long

distance flights there are films and music for people to entertain

themselves.

As a popular saying goes, "Everything has two sides." The same is true of

air travel. It has some disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel is

expensive. The average Chinese are not rich enough to afford expensive air

fares. So they prefer to take trains, which save a lot of money. For another,

although passengers are assured of their safety, they are still worried about it

during the journey because flying always involves more or less risk.

As far I am concerned, the advantages mentioned above exceed the

disadvantages. If I were given choice between traveling by air and by train, I

would certainly prefer the former, especially the long distance journey, because

time is the most important thing I have to take into consideration whatever I

do.

chritmas is the day that jesus christ was born. people in the world celebrate and worship this day in his honor. the santa claus will come out and send presents for children. christmas cards and decorated trees are all over the place. the carolling of christmas songs echo through the air. i am not a chirstian, but i also enjoy the atmosphere of chrismas. i wish everybody have a merry chirismas.

Unlike the sacrifices at a family"s home altar， the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry， bland food. One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area， the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors， and not be plundered by strangers.

With the passing of time， this celebration of life became a day to the honor past ancestors. Following folk religion， the Chinese believed that the spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and spirit money could keep them happy， and the family would prosper through good harvests and more children.
