One of the most memorable scenes is when the dapple grey mare attempts to woo the horse that Guenivre has brought with him to the island. First she acts flirtatiously, parading around the bewildered horse. But when this does not have the desired effect, she gets another idea: "As I watched in amazement from my perch in the top of a tree, the sorrel nag dashed off and returned with a yahoo on her back who was yet more monstrous than Mr. Pope being fitted by a clothier. She dropped this creature before my nag as if offering up a sacrifice. My horse sniffed the creature and turned away." It might seem that we should take this scene seriously as a failed attempt at courtship, and that consequently we should see the grey mare as an unrequited lover. But it makes more sense if we see that Swift is being satiric here: it is the female Houyhnhnm who makes the move, which would not have happened in eighteenth-century England. 近日读了本《乔布斯传》，虽然一直是APLLE粉，但对乔布斯却知之甚少，读后深为之痴迷，这是一个不可思议的人，一个改变了世界的人，虽然他的人生之旅是如此之短暂，却足以让众多活着的人汗颜……

他拥有并不完美的童年，但他的养父信守承诺，为了能去乔布斯满意的大学甚至不惜搬家换工作，乔布斯是个有着梦想与并执着的人，为了实现自己“活着就是为了改变世界”的梦想，不惜放弃大学学业，即使在他最困难的时候被自己创办的苹果抛弃，也从未放弃过。最终，在那个崇尚创新的社会，他实现了自己的梦想，他与他的团队正是美国以及全人类所追求的“创新精神”的代名词。从某种意义上讲，乔布斯的成功也许是美国的人性自由，个性化教育及创新精神的完美结合。

衷心希望我们中国能够拥有自己的“乔布斯”，能够拥有一批有梦想，有创新精神的企业家队伍，以‘活着就是为了改变世界“的魄力，振我中华之雄风。我想，要想实现这些，需要我们改变的太多了，死板的教育方式，纯净的创业环境，正确的财富观……也许不是一代人的努力，从我做起吧!

放笔之际，耳畔又想起了乔布斯对斯卡利说的那句名言‘你是想卖一辈子糖水，还是想改变世界’。
