There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.

今年的暑假生活非常愉快。我去农村过暑假。这是非常美丽的。有绿色的植物，清澈的小河，可爱的动物和善良的人们。我花了两个星期，我的祖父帮助做一些农场工作。我写下每天发生在我的日记。

Besides that, I helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. I helped them read English improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this.

另外，我帮助邻居家的孩子做功课。我帮他们读英语，提高他们的英语口语。他们的父母为此很感激我。

星期天上午，太阳公公把温暖的阳光照进我的房间，暖洋洋的，我躺在舒适的床上，懒洋洋的不想动弹。

正在我无限惬意想再多睡会儿时，传来了老妈的“河东狮吼”：“快点起床!你看现在几点了!”我真是一点儿也不想和温暖的被窝说再见，唉，谁让老妈是个移动“闹钟”呢!我只好慢吞吞地爬出被窝，不情愿地走出房间。

老妈看到我这么懒散，立刻想到用“妙计”调动我的懒神经：“儿子，今天妈妈想奖励奖励你。”一听到奖励，我立刻来了精神，“什么奖励?”“如果你今天能把家里打扫干净、收拾整洁，中午我就带你去吃肯德基，怎么样?”一听到要吃肯德基，我的口水马上就要“飞流直下三千尺”了。我兴奋地说：”好哇!好哇!一言为定!”

说干就干，不过先从哪儿开始呢?抬头一看，窗玻璃脏兮兮的，我拿着清洁剂就对着窗户玻璃一阵狂喷，再用抹布擦一擦，哇!真干净!可以照出人影来，以后就可以在这里照镜子了!

家具也有灰尘，特别是桌子上，今天我要彻底给它“洗个澡”，我请出手下的“大将”——吸尘器来帮忙，我用它对准桌子、沙发，凡是有灰尘的地方都不放过，把灰尘吸得一干二净，吸完后再用抹布一擦，干净如初!把房间里的各类家具擦拭干净后，我拿起扫帚开始打扫地面，我先用扫帚扫去地面上的灰尘，再去把拖把浸湿，撤去水分，开始拖地，从内到外先用湿拖把拖一遍，然后再用干拖把擦一遍，几遍下来，地板被我擦得光洁如新。经过一个多小时的奋战，终于结束了这场战斗。虽然我累得满头大汗，腰酸背痛，但看着被自己打扫得干干净净的屋子，可开心了!

通过这次劳动，我体会到妈妈整天在家做家务有多不容易了。以后我一定要多帮妈妈做家务，减轻她的负担。

yesterday my mother and i went to the east lake about 40 kilometreseast of the city. i had a good time there.

we left home at seven oclock in the morning, and it took us about an hour to drive there. then we got to the lake. oh, how large the lake was!there were many green trees and red flowers around it. we got on a small boat and rowed it. the sky was clear and the breeze touched our faces softly. i sang while rowing the boat.after we had lunch in a small restaurant, we returned home. i really hope to go there next spring!

Summer holiday plan

Summer holiday is coming. How excited! I havemade a plan for my summer holiday. First of all, I will go to Hong Kong tovisit my aunt. And then I will stay with her for a while. As Hong Kong is the shoppingparadise, of course, I will ask my aunt to go shopping with me . I will also eatthe delicious food there. And then I will go home. I know that study comesfirst. So I will finish my homework first. After that I will go out play withmy friends. And then I will take a good rest to prepare for my coming back toschool.

暑假即将来临。多么的兴奋啊!我已经为我的暑假制定了计划。首先，我会去香港拜访我的婶婶。之后我会和她呆一段时间。因为香港是购物天堂，当然我会叫我婶婶陪我一起去购物。我还要吃那里美味的食物。然后我就会回家。我知道学习是最重要的。所以回去之后我会先完成我的暑假作业。之后我就会和我的朋友出去玩。再之后我就会好好的休息来为回校做好准备。

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
