一年一度的端午节又到了，它是我国的传统节日，但它是怎么来的呢?通过查资料，我了解到：原来，端午是为了纪念屈原一样的爱国人士的，而且，端午节有很多习俗：包粽子、赛龙舟、做香囊等。我喜欢吃粽子，这次也不例外，我和妈妈一起包粽子。

我们准备了许多材料：有粽叶、糯米、红枣和咸肉等。

My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977. I started school in 1984 when I was seven,and I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. new high school life is both exciting and challenging for me. first, im in a new environment with my new teachers and new classmates. many of them are all from top middle schools in the area. im so excited to meet them all. the new school building is designed creatively and attractively. i loved it . my new teachers are nice and them teach very weel. they are always willing to answer my questions at the end of the class. second, i have to take some new subjects and choose some subjects myself. i liked that because it gives students freedom and i can develop more in my areas of interest. third, im glad to join into some of the clubs and activities in my school. they are very interesting and i could learn more social experience through those activities. im proud to be in this new school and i wish that i can unleash my potential and achieve my best in this school.

The New Life A few months ago, I was a primary pupil. I had many good friends and teachers that I remember all the time. My new life is very exciting. I’m in Dongzhou Middle School. It’s famous in Jiangsu. It’s bigger and more beautiful than the primary school. I love it very much. I’m in Cla10, Grade 7. It’s a good class. The students are clever, nice, friendly and helpful. All my classmates study hard. They want to be on the top. I get up at 5:30. Sometimes I read English, sometimes I learn Chinese. Studying is very / interesting. 端午节假期的第一天，我和爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈一起去了恩格贝。已经是中午了。我们去绿洲餐厅吃饭，然后和导游阿姨一起去了首站博物馆。导游阿姨讲解的很好，我认真听了一个日本爷爷在中国种树的故事。

然后我们来到了第二站，绿色蔬菜种植园。我们先尝尝新鲜的蔬菜，然后去看看各种蔬菜。

然后我们来到了第三站，沙漠动物养殖区，鸵鸟区。我和哥哥给鸵鸟买了些饲料。它一伸脖子我就害怕了。

然后我们来到第四站，来到一个大水库。因为危险和不安全，孩子们不能下车，所以我们几个孩子没有下车。

当然，最好玩的时候还是包粽子的时候。包粽子时，男人负责把肉切成不大不小的块儿;女人负责洗红豆、糯米之类的;小孩负责把大盆洗干净，再把大人加工好的东西装在大盆里;而老人们则负责指挥。一切准备好之后，就开始包粽子了。大人们干得格外卖力，而小孩们呢?却在一旁玩着，总是在大人们不注意时，偷一两颗蜜枣往嘴里塞，表面上似乎一点儿事都没做，可心里却暗暗自喜——因为蜜枣太好吃了!

最后一步就是煮粽子，烧火的外公总是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很浓，如果在第一时间内吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子总是嫩地流油，看到的蜜枣粽子总是金黄柔嫩;看到的八宝粽子总是很可口，我们可爱吃了。

去年，要不是为了去盐城替舅舅、舅妈照顾表哥，外公外婆可能在包粽子哩。我突然有些“厌恶”舅舅、舅妈，他们家的经济条件不错，为什么不找个保姆?把我的欢乐端午节和粽子都“夺走了”，我好生气呀!也好怀念那味香色美的粽子呀!

life. But I dont agree with them, because money is not everything. Money cant

make us a true man.

The way I see it, good health is much better than a lot of wealth. No

matter how much money we have, we’ll not feel happy at all if we are in poor

health. In order to be healthy, we must keep a positive attitude and have a good

living habit.

在江苏地区，粽子可是名副其实的特色文化小吃，吃粽子也是端午节时必有的风俗，也是祖祖代代传下来的风俗。除了刚出生只会吱吱吖吖的小婴儿，其余男女老少提到粽子都不陌生，谁不是“口水直流三千尺”，谁不是嘴里立刻就生出一种糯糯甜甜的感觉呢?

老家的粽子用糯米制成，形状大小各异，有三角形、圆锥形、斧头形等，中间加入馅料。我们家乡习惯于做斧头型的，因为斧头型的寓意“代代富”，是一种美好的祝福。

我的爷爷奶奶都是江苏本地人，对于这个端午节吃粽子的习俗，从小在江苏长大的我也是从小听到大，也体验到大的，并不陌生。儿时的端午节，最美好的记忆就是一家人一起包粽子，吃粽子，团团圆圆，好不热闹。奶奶会教全家人包粽子，先买来粽叶、糯米和馅料，然后把糯米洗干净，仿佛笑开了一朵花，边洗还边唱“淘米的姑娘淘大米”，把一切忧愁都抛到脑后。随后，奶奶把一切材料摆到桌子上，我家的桌子变成了包粽子的战场。奶奶拿起三片粽叶，卷成一个圆锥形，紧接着，奶奶舀进几勺糯米，再把准备好的馅料放在糯米上，最后用粽叶把粽子给包裹起来，好似一个穿绿衣的小娃娃。不过包粽子这工程还没完，奶奶紧接着抽出一根绳子，飞快地绕了几圈，一只漂亮的粽子就完成了。

看奶奶这么轻松就完成了，我也忍不住跃跃欲试。我拿起三片粽叶，卷成一个圆锥形，不久就完成了，我暗暗窃喜。可当我放入糯米时，粽叶就散开了。接下来的事情让我手忙脚乱。但经过我的百般努力下，虽然手与衣服上都弄得湿漉漉的，但一个“四不像”的粽子总算也完成了。

我们一边包粽子，一边讲粽子的由来，好不热闹!欢声笑语回荡在充满了粽叶味的屋子里。吃着自己包的粽子，香在嘴里，甜在心里……

如今，我虽然随父母离开故乡，举家搬迁异地求学，但家乡的民风民俗却永远镌刻在我的心里。

There are many people are deaf among the sixty billion population. They dont have a sound body. They have to face much more difficulties than common people in their daily life. However, there is a big problem they have to face. It is the unfair treatment. As they are disabled, they often looked down upon or teased by others. Many people regard them as useless. In fact, this behavior is not approval. The deaf are human beings that need to be treated equality. They can also make contribution or be useful people for the society. They just couldnt see everything by eyes instead of foolish. For example, Helen Keller is a blind person, but she uses her own story to inspire thousands of people around the world. So, I think we should give a chance to the deaf. Do not discriminate them and try your best to offer them help. The world will be a better world.

A long time ago,there was an emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he liked,then the emperor would give him the area of land he would have covered.
