原来农历五月初五，是我国民间的传统节日――端午节，它是中华民族古老的传统节日之一。端午也称端五，端阳。此外，端午节还有许多别称，如：午日节、重五节、五月节、女儿节、诗人节和龙日等等。虽然名称不同，但各地人民过节的习俗还是大同小异的。

关于端午节的由来，有很多说法。最著名的是为了纪念伟大的爱国主义诗人屈原。

公元前278年，楚国被秦军攻破，屈原看到自己的国家被侵略，心如刀割，但他始终不忍舍弃自己的祖国，于五月五日，抱石投汨罗江而死。传说屈原死后，楚国百姓哀痛异常，纷纷涌到汨罗江边去凭吊屈原。渔夫们划起船只，在江上来回打捞他的真身。有位渔夫拿出为屈原准备的饭团、鸡蛋等食物，“扑通、扑通”地丢进江里，说是让鱼龙虾蟹吃饱了，就不会去咬屈大夫的身体了。人们见后纷纷仿效。一位老医师则拿来一坛雄黄酒倒进江里，说是要药晕蛟龙水兽，以免伤害屈大夫。后来为怕饭团为蛟龙所食，人们想出用楝树叶包饭，外缠彩丝，发展成棕子。

以后，在每年的五月初五，就有了龙舟竞渡、吃粽子、喝雄黄酒的风俗，以此来纪念爱国诗人屈原。

哦!原来粽子有这么一个传说。粽子真好吃，每当吃粽子时，我就会想起爱国诗人屈原。

人为什么要有梦想?因为梦想是故事的开始，我相信每个人都有一个梦想。

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to

improve his way of life。 With the tools of technology he has altered many

physical features of the earth。 He has transformed woodlands and prairies into

farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or

hydroelectric power。 Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining

marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways。

However， mans changes to the physical environment have not always had

beneficial results。 Today， pollution of the air and water is an increasing

danger to the health of the planet。 Each day thousands of tons of gases e out of

the exhausts of motor vehicles。 Smoke from factories pollutes the air of

industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside。 The pollution

of water is equally harmful。 The whole ecological balance of the sea is being

changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless。

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before。 As we know，

massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even

poses a great threat to mans existence。 Indifference to these problems will

mean mitting suicide。 Therefore， effective measures should be taken and laws

passed to conserve environment。 Otherwise，man is certain to suffer from the

serious consequences caused by this lack of care for his living

surroundings。

端午节，也叫端阳节，是中国的一个传统节日，在农历五月初五。这个节日始于中国的春秋战国时期，已经有很多年的历史了。端午节有许多古老的习俗和传说，每一个习俗都是如此温暖和难忘。真正让我印象深刻的是“纪念楚国大夫屈原”的故事。据说当时屈原被抛入河中后，当地人听到这个消息，立即划船打捞。他们一路划到洞庭湖，再也没有看到屈原的尸体。

那是一个雨天，湖上的船只聚集在岸边的亭子旁边。场面壮观。当人们得知是为了打捞贤臣屈原博士时，又冒雨外出，冲进了茫茫洞庭湖。为了悼念，人们在河上划船，后来逐渐演变成龙舟比赛。人们怕河里的鱼吃了屈原的尸体，就回家拿来饭团放到河里喂鱼。后来，每年五月初五，都有赛龙舟、吃粽子、喝雄黄酒的习俗，以纪念爱国诗人屈原。

家乡的端午节，家家户户都要一大早插艾叶。艾叶是一种常见的植物，生长在野生的田野里，毫不在意，但它郁郁葱葱，生机勃勃，很容易让人想起夏天的野秋菊花。太阳升起前，人们把前一天晚上收集的艾叶放在门口，挂在窗前。且不说可以去瘟疫辟邪，润肺的甜香就像穿越田野的乡风，让老人和孩子都很开心，恋爱中的年轻人也沉醉其中，靠着窗户舍不得离开。

记得小时候在老家，一般端午节前两天就开始包粽子。每年端午节前，河岸两岸到处都是提着小篮子摘粽子叶子的人。在那个季节，在河岸上，有树、绿色植物和许多习俗。收藏宗叶的人们工作着，欣赏着大自然的美景。收集的粽子叶要先在锅里煮，然后用水浸泡，最后一个一个洗。奶奶在洗粽子叶子的时候，已经泡过糯米和红豆了。泡好的米放在一个大盆里，盆旁边放一把木椅，捆好的草就挂在上面，这样就可以挂裹好的粽子了。

奶奶爱端午节，大概是因为这个时候她总能展现自己的才华吧。我迫不及待地想看我奶奶做粽子。我躺在一边看了一下午。看到外婆的皱纹里溢满蜂蜜，我偶尔会偷偷抓几颗蜜枣放进嘴里。我很高兴摘下我的脸颊，用力咀嚼。不知道他们有多甜!

我家乡的端午节是如此充满怀旧和亲情。现在是端午节，我想起了我家乡的艾叶和我奶奶做的粽子。

I am not fond of basketball,let alone to play it.But I have seen a

wonderful basketball game between my class and postgraduate class.It is so
