在1990年，随着国家呼唤教师下乡服务人民，越来越多的教师下乡从事他们的教育事业。人们高度评价教师，因为他们把自己的青春奉献给了教育事业。我在实习的时候认识了一名乡村教师，在乡村的一个月里，我觉得孤独和无聊，开始敬佩乡村教师。他们很伟大，选择在他们最好的年华下乡，放弃了城市里优越的生活。我想知道是什么让他们做这个决定。我认识的那个教师说他们以为会在这里呆个几年，但是随着时间的流逝，他们觉得孩子需要他们，所以决定留下来。我很佩服他们，他们是真正伟大的人。

Since I went to middle school, I grew up very fast. On the one hand, I live

in school from Monday to Friday, so I need to learn to get along with roommates.

We share the cleaning work to make sure a good environment. It is everybodys

duty to sweep the floor on turn. On the other hand, I need to solve the problems

from life by myself. Without parents by my side all the time, I learn to face

troubles and figure out all the ways to solve them. I become much independent

and stronger. Now I can deal with my stuff alone.

端午节是我国的传统节日，也是为了纪念伟大的诗人屈原的重大节日。屈原见国家走向灭亡了，不想被敌人无俘虏，所以跳河自尽。后来人们为了屈原的尸体不被鱼吃掉，就往河里丢竹筒饭，后来，又成了粽子;为了把鱼赶走不让它把屈原的尸体吃掉，人们赛龙舟，一代又一代传了下来。每到端午节，人们家家户户就会包粽子，赛龙舟来过端午节。每到这一天，大人们还会让孩子洗艾澡，是为了去湿气，不让孩子们容易生病。

端午节一大早，我就闻到了粽子的香味，一下楼，原来是姥姥在蒸粽子。我和哥哥偷了五个，然后就去“赛龙舟”了。

一到海边，早已有选手在等候，我和哥哥也体验了一场“龙舟”赛。首先每个人先找来一个泡沫艇，然后去有水流的地方，然后拿一根船桨，接着坐到艇上，用人的重量和船桨来掌握方向，以此类推，多找一些泡沫艇，新和以和小伙伴们去赛“龙舟”了。三、二、一，开始!我和哥哥一路过五关斩六将，三两下就打败了他们，然后我们去领奖时，发现，奖品竟然是粽子。

傍晚，姥姥煮了一大锅艾叶水，让我和哥哥洗澡洗头。艾叶水倒出来，一股淡淡的艾草香味，我先是深深地吸了一口香味，然后就跳进桶里泡澡了。泡澡起来，我感觉浑身舒畅，精神清爽。老祖宗留给我们的不仅仅是节日文化，更多的是对我们有益的习俗呢。

晚上，妈妈叫我给大家背诵有关端午节的诗歌，我大声背诵唐代诗人文秀的《端午》：“节分端午自谁言，万古传闻为屈原。堪笑楚江空浩浩，不能洗得直臣冤。”
