Spring Festival is the most favorite festival in China.It‘s to celebrate the lunar calendar ’s new year.In the evening before the Spring Festival ，families get together and have a big meal.In many places people like to set off firecrackers.Dumplings are the most traditional food.Children like the festival very much ，because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes.They can also get some money from their parents。 This money is given to children for good luck. People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long.People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”。 People enjoy the Spring Festival ，during this time they can have a good rest.

I went out to have dinner with father today. I should make toast during the

dinner but there was no juice availabe. So I had a bottle of beer. My face

turned red but I was not drunk. I dont think beer tastes bad but I wont like

have it too much because I am only a student.

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now, although peoples life is much better, and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. This term I moved to a new house and studied in a new school. But I always

missed my friend. My old house was move comfortable than this new house. I

wanted to go back to my old house.

这学期我搬到新房子,在一所新学校学习。但我总是想念我的朋友。我的老房子是比这舒适的新房子。我想回到我的老房子。

Everything was strange for me,so I couldnt study better. I felt nervous in

the first test. And I got bad scores,I felt very sad. The teacher shouted at me.

And then,I felt under too much pressure and very tired. My parents were also sad

with me. When my classmates knew this thing,she helped me,and gave me some

advice. Later,I thought I can be better next time.
