April 1st is the holiday April Fools also known as “All Fools Day.”Its exact origin is not known, because there are so many stories as to why it started. 今天我在作文班度过了我有生以来最开心的一个中秋节。

这是为什么呢？因为我们不仅仅可以在快乐中学习，而且通过自己的努力还可以得到老师特殊奖励的月饼吃呢！

我用我的智慧买下了第一轮的参与的门票。第一轮开始了，过关的要求是讲“关于月亮的故事”。这时，参赛的选手们，各显神通了，有人说：嫦娥奔月、牛郎织女……讲的真是神采飞扬，令人陶醉啊！在同学们的掌声中，老师给予了很多人2分的奖励。

第二轮的题目是：关于月亮的诗接龙。精灵鬼刘卜瑄同学高高举起了她的手，背诵了一首关于月亮的诗的前半部分，其他人没有一个人能接得上，所以她又加了一分。

比赛在激烈中进行着，同学们的心都在紧张中紧绷着，接下来就是选拔赛了。老师高声说：“得八分的同学请举手！”同学们的目光立刻都环顾四周，在寻找着这些胜利者，竟然有七名同学高高举起了他们炫耀的手，有冯方兴、张智慧、王宇平……经过再次的选拔，其中只有五名同学幸运地入选了，理所应该地每人得了一块胜利的月饼。看着他们兴致勃勃地拿着胜利品——那块圆圆的月饼，我的心中似乎有些气恼，为什么自己不能入选，为什么我不能得到月饼呢？但是值得安慰的是我还是有希望的，因为我的作文得了八旗奖，凭八旗奖当然可以直接获得参赛的门票。读完自己的大作后，我以期待的心情等待着评选结果。可让我失望的是，我不但没有拿到第一名，而且在四名竞争的同学中，我还仅仅拿了最后一名，唉，好悲催啊！

不过，我在心里暗暗下定决心，以后我一定要努力，争取拿到奖励，虽然我没有拿到月饼，但是我还是很开心，因为我毕竟参与了，我也是高手中的一员！

今天这个中秋节过得实在是太开心了！

English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I

was ten years old.

But at the very beginning, listening seemed a little difficult for me. So I

have been doing a lot of listening practice, such as listening to tapes,

watching English TV programs. And I found it really helped a lot. In fact, there

are some more helpful ways to learn English well. For example, I enjoy singing

English songs and I want to join an English club or find a pen pal from

English-speaking countries.

I believe that nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.
