“现在的生态环境，特别的不好;什么空气污染那，水污染那，饮食污染那，精神污染那，科学的发展破坏了自然的平衡的生态系统啊，等等;到了春天，很少见到原来那样的春暖花开、流水潺潺的喜人景象;到了冬天，该冷不冷，或冷得让人难耐;到了夏天，该热不热，或热得让人难熬;现在，很多物种都消失或濒于消失了，等等;这些都是生态环境平衡失调的表现;现在失调了的生态环境，给我的感觉，更适合微生物的繁衍生息、猖獗发展;微生物欢起来了，如，近几年接着闹的，萨斯(SAS)病毒呀，甲流病毒呀，手足口病毒呀，水痘病毒呀，腮腺炎病毒呀，好多好多;相对地说，不像原来那样适合人类的繁冉生息;所以，人类的疾病的种类越来越多，发病率也越来越高;并且，在万物竟生存的自然界里，由于其他生命的不断兴旺，好像人类的绝对生存优势已经受到威胁。”
我又停了停，发现患者还在听，我又接着说起来：

“我认为，现在的生态环境，十分的堪忧啊!也十分可怕呀!能不能因为科学的发展啊，战争啊，诸多因素的影响，生态环境越来越糟，越来越适合其他种类的生物的生存和壮大，而不适合人类的生存和壮大;能不能有一天，其他生物成为这个世界的主宰，而人类越来越弱，逐渐走向灭亡?好像也危险!”
我越讲话越多，又大概的讲了一个事例：
“地球上其他生物做主宰的事情也不是没有啊!据说在四十多亿年前的时候，地球曾经与一个较大的行星发生过一次碰撞，毁灭了主宰地球的恐龙;之后，经过若干年的进化，才慢慢地发展成为今天由人类主宰地球万物;我们人类应当珍惜今天的丰硕成果呀!”
“王大夫，你今天说的这些话靠谱，没白说;可我们现代的人类，主要精力都放在研究赚钱、研究掠夺上，没人把研究和改造生态环境放在第一位置上，你说对吧!”听了半天的患者，终于开口，表达了自己的观点。

记得是去年的暑假，我和爸爸一起去鹅湖边散步，走了一段路，我就一个劲的喊口渴，于是，爸爸就在路边的小店给我买了根冰棍。我边吃边走，一会儿就吃完了，随手把冰棍棒往鹅湖里一扔。爸爸看见了，马上提醒我说;“可可，不能乱扔垃圾噢!如果每个人都像你一样往湖里扔垃圾，这美丽的鹅湖不就变成了垃圾湖了。”我羞愧的说：“知道了，我下次一定不乱扔垃圾。”爸爸微笑着抚摸我的头说：“地球也是我们的家，我们应该保护它，爱护它，让天更蓝，水更清，草更绿。”我调皮的说：“噢，那就是大家一直说的，城市是我家，环境清洁靠大家。我明白了。”让从那以后，我再也不乱扔垃圾了。

在猴山里，作者看到了两位小青年在一边啃甘蔗，一边往猴山里扔甘蔗渣。于是作者对他们说：“被扔了，保护环境，人人有责。”可是，两个小青年不管，还是照样扔。作者生气了，拿起相机把他们的“光荣事迹”拍了下来，让他们上摄影比赛做反面教材。
在一个草坪上，作者看见了一个小男孩刚刚吃完了香蕉，手里还拿着香蕉皮。妈妈指了指离着不远的果皮箱，示意让小男孩把香蕉皮扔到果皮箱里去。小男孩看了，就想着果皮箱跑去，突然一个石头把小男孩绊倒了，小男孩不但没有哭，而且还没有等妈妈去抱就自己爬了起来，又走上前去，作者就把这美好的瞬间拍了下来。
对呀!这两位小青年和这个小男孩成了一个鲜明的对比，两位小青年的举动都远远不如一个小男孩的举动。如果全世界的人都乱人垃圾，那么地球不就成了一个“垃圾星球”了吗?但是，现在清洁工每天都在默默无言的扫着地，保护着环境，而且只要你学会见到垃圾就捡起来，口里有痰不乱吐，用环保袋，这样世界就会变得更美好。

爸爸妈妈的话给了我勇气。环保比面子更重要，他们要说我是捡垃圾的就让他们去说吧!我现在不在乎了。要是一人捡一次垃圾，更多的人就能捡更多的垃圾。那时候的地球一定比现在的地球更干净，更美丽。

Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! It was an arch called Delicate Arch. It looks like Athena looking over everybody’s eyes to see if they are obeying rules. How can a loose little arch stand so high. So today was a miracle.
