The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year, each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fireworks to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year, almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. Whenpeople meet on the way, they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

Journey to Australia

Australia is one of the famous Oceanian country. The country is famous for its wool production and seashore tour. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there every year. I’m a super fan of water entertainment, so I choose it as my destination.

In Australia, the sky is bluer than blue, the clouds are whiter than white, all the local people enjoy an optimistic and active life. They also show their kindness and enthusiasm to the tourists.

The first step should be Sydney Opera which is among the most brilliant and splendid architectures in the world. Many world-class plays are put on in it .The surface and shape of it is like a seashell with glory decorations inside.

Then Melbourne is a good choice to be as the next step. In Melbourne, skin screen is a must to take with as the sunshine is upset and may burn your skin. The most attractive thing to me is the Australia Open, which is one of the biggest world-class tennis competition. Many great players such as Roddick Federer and its local player Hewitt etc. gather to compete. It’s really a feast for the eyes.

Australia is also home to one of the most challenging and exciting surfing and diving projects. As we know, it is always called “a country riding on the back of sheep”. From the interesting saying ,we can know something about the rich wool-production country. If you love animals, kangaroos and kaolas are good company to you .

Im happy to have such a good summer holiday!Of course，I have many things to prepare。

First，I need to make a plan about my holiday。I will do my homework 5 hours a day，and I want to read some famous English books to improve my English study。Then， I will see some funny edies。Mr。Bean or Tom Hankss movies all cool! 做家务使我快乐。一天，爸爸和妈妈刚走，我看到又脏而又乱的家，就想到了一个好主意。我先把桌子收拾好，再把碗刷好。然后再拿抹布把家具上的灰尘擦了擦。再呢就是扫地了，扫完地后，我又拿起抹布来擦地了，这擦地也是有窍门的：1擦地是要有次序，一个砖块一个砖块地擦，这样就不会有没擦的地方了。2要先擦前再擦后，这样就不会踩到自己擦过的地方了。3有时，有些东西很难擦掉，这就要用我的方法了。先把手放在胸前的下方，然后前腿弓后腿蹬，最后再把手上的抹布向前一推，地上就干净多了。我再也不是以前那个娇气的小公主了。今天，我感到了劳动的快乐。

May Day is coming. We will have three days holiday. I  want  to do so much things   during this holiday .

On the first day , I plan to finish all my homework so that I can play happily in the other days. On the next day ,I want to see my grandparents with my parents .Because they live in a beautiful countryside .There are many kinds of flowers and clean air .I love them very much. 我们迅速换了衣服，就迫不及待地奔向海边，三步并作两步冲向大海，跳入海中，水凉凉的，真令人透心凉。只见海浪像一匹匹骏马向我们奔腾而来，我们欢呼着，高叫着，伙伴们有的向后退，有的往水里钻，有的扑向海浪，好像想制止海浪的前进，还有的用力一跃，想跳过海浪……我还听见海浪不断拍打岩石的声音，看见了一朵朵美丽的浪花被飞溅起来。我们一群小孩子像一条条快活的小泥鳅，左窜右窜，东游游，西游游，不知不觉就游回到岸边。后来，几个大人也加入了我们的队伍，他们常常把对方抛到空中，引来了大家的一阵哗笑。他们看见我们几个小朋友，就笑眯眯地说：“你们要不要也来试一试，很刺激的！”陈冠桦被他们的笑声吸引过去了，“我来试试！”他们左右两个人把陈冠桦抛得三尺高，陈冠桦被逗得哈哈大笑。轮到我了，他们将我奋力一抛，啊！真刺激！真高啊！这回可真是站得高，看得远，我往前一看，大海周围的景色被我尽收眼底，南澳真美啊！可是，我这么一摔，就惨啦，海水不停地往我肚子里灌，咸咸的，苦苦的，真是难受极了。

我们还玩了堆沙呢，规则是这样的：大家在指定的地方堆一座“山”，前面不管你有多少设施都没有关系，只要能保护自己的这座“山”不被海浪冲倒就可以了，看谁的“山”能坚持到最后。我先堆了一座坚固的“山”，这座“山”堆得很粗，为了防止被冲倒，我在“山”的四边挖了一条深深的沟，是为了水能流在沟上，不会把“山”冲坏，再堆上围墙，让围墙和沟上都留下一条道，这样可以让沟里的水流走。前面我还设计了一个斜坡，这样再大的浪也不会冲上来，我还在前面挖了一口“井”，里面可以存放水，因为建围墙需要水，这样我就不用到海边装水了。我以为自己很聪明呢，谁知高兴得太早了，不幸的事发生了，大海波涛汹涌，海浪不断地向海边涌来，一下子就把我的“井”灌满了，接着又上了斜坡，毫不留情地把围墙冲倒了，把沟冲裂了，一下子把我的“山”冲断了一半，我赶紧修理，说时迟，那时快，无情的海浪一口吞掉了我的“山”，另外两名朋友的“山”也倒了。后来，我们还玩了疯狂刺激的快艇……

啊！南澳的天空是那么蓝，空气是那么甜，这个假期我真愉快！

Spring festival is a popular holiday in china. It is in January or February. People eat a lot of delicious food and go shopping. They usually spend time with their family and friends.My favourite holiday is Childrens day. It is on the first of June. Children usually have parties at school, go to the park and go to the cinema. I didnt go to the park and go to the cinema last year. I had parties at school with my family. We were very happy.

My father and grandpas favourite holiday is May day. It is on the first of May. People usually have a long holiday. They meet friends and relatives. They go to parks and beaches. But my father and grandpa planted trees last May day. They were very tired but happy!

I decide to make a plan about my holiday.

Let me tell you about my own idea!If i want to make myself health ,i should take more exercise and eat more vegetables and fruits .Do not forgot to do my homework in time . anyway ,I think we must relax ourselves .so my family want to make a trip together !I can not wait!

Last year, I went to Guilin for travel. On the train, I felt so bored. A

girl who sat next to me was reading a book, which caught my attention. I asked

her about the book, I found that I had read it before and then we discussed

about the novel. We talked happily, when the train arrived, we got off together.

When we got aparted, we promised to keep in touch. We communicated by the

computer. Now a year has passed, we become good friends and I miss her all the

time. She is a genuine friend. I plan to go to Guilin again and then we will

meet.

My holiday

Today，Im planning to do some exercises on my summer vacation in order to make me stronger.If you ask what the summer vacation in my dream is ，Ill tell you traveling around the world is the only one dream I have.Im interested in traveling，because I can meet lots of different people and can do some sightseeing in the places of interest all over the world.How interesting it is!I hope I can have two summer vacations in a year.

Have been a travelling by train for about 3h, the journey was tiring. I arrived in our provinces capital city-Nanning,a green city in south China.

I met Mrs.Long,then she showed me around the downtown including Walmart,Xingning walking street,the bund,ect. There is a drinks machine in the street that offers passers by free drinkable water. They had the same thing in my city, but people used the water to wash their hands which ruined the machines. On the contrary, Ningningese tend to protect every piece of public property. When a little boy wanted to wash his hands, his mother stopped him immediately and told him," **,you should not use the water to wash your hands,the water is for drinking."

In the evening I walked to see the Guangxi Peoples Hall and Mendzhidao shopping mall. The next day,I cycled to Langdong new district where the Nanning international exhibition is located. The exhibition is built for CAEXPO. The bike broke during my way back,but a student from Guangxi University kindly gave me a lift. On the last day i got up early to go to Qingxiushan Park.

There I enjoyed the scenery and prayed to the buddhas for my future.

Ienjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is joyful.When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I also singout to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

我很喜欢唱歌。唱歌的时候，我的心以及我的身体都是快乐的。我高兴的时候，我常常唱出来与大家分享我的快乐。我难过的时候，我也唱出了我不好的心情来倾诉。

Ilike pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft music torock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need a restvery much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite popstars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on thestage. Their songs are so charming.
