travel is a very good means of broadening a persons perspective。 it makes you come into contact with different cultures， meet people of different colors and go through peculiar rites and ceremonies。 travelling much， you will not only enrich your knowledge and eperiences， but also be aware of the vastness of nature。

travel may also relieve person of boredom and gloom。 travel brings you enjoyment and attraction。 it gives you a pleasant eperience， which will disperse your boredom and make you forget whatever annoys you。 travel broadens your mind and leaves you good memories。 later， you may go over these memories and enjoy your past eperiences， thus keeping a fresh and sunny mind。

travelers can choose different modes of transportation which have advantages and disadvantages。 airplanes are the fastest but also the most epensive。 buses and trains are less epensive， but they soon make you feel cramped and uncomfortable。 ships provide you with comfort unless you get seasick。 most people can afford traveling by bicycle， which， although slow， can limber up your muscles and get you closer to nature。

Father shows much care to us children and my mother as well. Whenever there is any delicious food on the table, he just leaves it to us while he takes the simple one himself. If my brother and I fall ill, he will not hesitate a moment to get some medicine for us or take us to see the doctor. My mother suffers a bad disease. Father looks after her very carefully. He never lets mother do any heavy work both at home and in the field. Mother appreciates him m much that she often praises him as a model husband before others.

We all think that father is not in the least an ordinary man. He plays an extraordinary role in my family. We cant have anything without him. Now Im pursuing further studies at college far away from father. I miss him very much. And I often see him in my dreams. His great image is deeply carved in my mind.

Father is a person full of optimism. He never complains about our poor life. He is never frustrated by trouble. He often tells us that everything will be all right if we have enough confidence in life. Due to his optimism, we are all confident to face our life and work.

Being a farmer, father works very hard in the fields all the year round. He works from dawn till dusk every day and even till midnight when it is the harvest season. He seldom enjoys leisure with other farmers even if the farm work is not much. He chooses to live a busy life with reluctance to stop for a while.

Father devotes all himself to our family. As we are poor, he always tries his best to support our family and afford the tuitions for my brother and me. For the whole family, for brother and me, he never stops working laboriously in the fields throughout the year. Now he has got a wrinkled face and white hair because of excessive hard work, looking much older and weaker than any other person of his age. In spite of all this, father never complains to us. It is his full devotion that were living a better life now. It is his full devotion that both my brother and I are able to study at college.

There is always a brilliant image living in my heart. That is my dear father. Seen through the eyes of many other people, father seems to be a very ordinary person. But he is quite extraordinary in my eyes, I have never lost my wonder at his good-personalities such as diligence, devotion, care, optimism ever since my childhood.

I’m going to have a busy weekend! On Saturday, I’m going visit my friends

by car. Because I haven’t seen them for a long time. Then, I’m going to the

bookstore on foot. I’m going to read lots of books there. On Sunday morning, I’m

going to go for a walk. Then, in the afternoon, I’m going to go shopping with my

mother. Then, in the evening, we are going to watch TV together. That will be

fun! What about you? What are you going to do on the weekend?

Lei Feng was a model(模范) soldier, On December 1 8,1940, he was born in a poor farmer family in a little mountain village of Hunan Province. He didnt go to school till 1950. At the age of 18, he worked as a steel worker. He was often praised for (因…受表扬)his good job. On January 8, 1960, he joined the army.

In the same year, he joined the Communist Party. He loved the Party and the people, and always did good for others. As a result(结果), he became a model soldier. After his death, Chairman Mao called on(号召)the people to "Learn from Comrade Lei Feng". The whole nation were moved by his deeds(事迹). Lei Fengs spirit will live in our hearts forever

每每读到朱自清先生的散文《背影》时，我的眼泪都会不打一处来，总会想起那个头发蓬松夹杂银白的父亲，总会想起他那弓着腰的背影……

我已有半年没与父亲相见了，想必是眼角的皱纹间又镶上了几许尘沙，黝黑的脸上又挂有泥土打制的吊坠，父亲真的是老了。十八年了，父亲穿梭于城市间，迫于家庭供给，在村镇做点粮油生意，起先，生意做的是否成功要看别人的脸色，做得好些，家庭就能多点开支，做得少些，家庭就要喝凉水了。这与十八年之前截然相反，十八年前，父亲是年轻的帅小伙而且也是十里八乡有名的知识青年。听老一辈的人说，父亲十八岁就做了小学教师，后来因为家庭供给跟不上，被迫放弃了教书匠的职业，免于到了乡镇跑起了做小贩的行当，十多年风吹日晒，成就了父亲为人处事的精明原则，在乡镇的粮油中有了点名堂。

和煦的春风照应着明媚的阳光，父亲锣鼓敲打把我母亲娶进了门，从那以后，父亲的形象在乡里人的眼里变成了唾弃、看不起，由于母亲文盲的缘故，年轻的时候还要过饭，因此……这也许在父亲看来没什么，因为在走自己的路。但是恰巧是爷爷也与母亲反目成仇，这给本来开心的家庭蒙上了一丛扯不开的阴影。次年，我降生了，给这个阴影的家庭带来了少许的欢乐，但是听母亲说父亲不从一次的在角落里哭泣过，也许在别人看来“男儿有泪不轻弹”，是的，父亲为了口粮哭了，仅有的二分地，只是两袋粮食，再加上收成不好，母亲只能与父亲挨饿了，没了奶水，怎么办?我那时身体又虚弱，被人称作出生时“大头皮鞋都能装下”的幼婴。父亲忌讳哀求别人，没有办法了，然而父亲没有向邻里借粮食，向邻里借粮食，只能在唾弃的基础上在增加一份歧视，父亲去了自己老师家中借了两袋口粮。现在每次看待那饭锅里的米油，内心都会有一种酸楚。

六岁那年，父亲被迫下岗了，母亲又生了一场大病，这给本来生活就不怎么富裕的家庭又带来了苦楚。为了供给，父亲紧随着大伯，去乡镇当起了沿街叫卖的小贩，父亲把家中唯一值钱的工具——自行车用在了上面，用它从这村把粮油运到那村，就这样父亲与粮油生意打上了交道。我们家的生活也逐渐好了许多，在供给上度过了苦楚。但是在前几年，意外发生了，父亲在自家屋顶补漏的时候，不小心从房顶上跌了下来，跌碎了膝盖骨。我曾记得，母亲用三轮车把父亲带到了医院，让我在家望门，可是我哭了，看着母亲远去的身影，我的心……我不管了，我蹬着脚踏车，往镇上医院飞奔，我感觉我的心碎了，父亲不知道有什么情况，我的汗水阴湿了我的衣裳。在沙石路上，我没感觉脚下的坑洼，我只有一个信念，我要我的父亲，我要我的父亲……到了医院，看到躺在病床上的父亲呻吟着，我的心既是伤痛又是欣喜，知道父亲只是摔碎的膝盖骨，别的没什么大碍。那年也顶上粮油价格的飞奔的往上涨，父亲在家养病，听到这消息，父亲急了，那时我才知道一个男人最重要的是什么，是事业，尽管父亲的事业并不大，但对于他来说是做到自足。听医生的建议，要想让骨头好得快，就要练膝盖的关节，于是父亲将脚放在床上来回的伸缩，急的时候一天练到晚。我几度看到父亲边哭泣边呻吟，我才知道父亲太在乎这个家庭，太在乎我和母亲。

后来，我上镇上上学，和父亲见面的机会就更少了，父亲每年回家两次，那天父亲回来家只为了看我，第二天又急忙的走了，现在，每次看到父亲的瘦小背影，我的心都会酸溜溜的，父亲为了家奔波，我真的感动。在我生命的日子中我会永远爱你，我的父亲。

最幸福的人不一定要拥有最好的东西，他们只需把自己的压力变为动力实现自己所拥有的一切。生活不是如何经受风暴，而是如何在雨中跳舞……
