今天，随着医疗的发展，人们能够延缓衰老。对于名人来讲，他们使用高科技来保持年轻，看到他们常年在屏幕上保持不变的容颜，观众也想要模仿名人，他们相信通过使用高科技就能一直保持年轻。然而在我看来，保持年轻的方法就是拥有一颗年轻的心，一些人表面看起来年轻，但是在他们的心里，他们足够的老，并且拒绝去与时俱进。对于另外一些人来讲，虽然他们有皱纹，但是他们对一切都保持好奇，并且愿意去改变。我的爷爷年纪大，但是他对一切时尚的东西都了如指掌，有时候我不得不问他关于新的事物。年轻的心是永葆青春的方法。

爷爷去世后，原本勤劳善良的奶奶变得更加勤劳辛苦了，我们接她跟我们到城里住，她说不习惯。她原本不用这么辛苦，可奶奶说她习惯了，庄稼人就该种地。

奶奶今年68岁了，是个闲不住的人，门前屋后的地全被她种上了庄稼，就连巴掌大的闲地都不放过。看到她的“战绩”，邻居不禁惊叹：这哪像个六七十岁的老人干的活!奶奶没上过什么学，也不识什么字，但她的几个孩子的电话号码她却烂熟于心。每当她做了可口的美食，她总不忘打电话给几个孩子，希望我们都能回家。我们回到家，是她最忙活的时候，但也是她最开心的时候，爸爸会劝说她别再忙活了，那些东西我们在超市都能买到，可奶奶每次都乐此不疲地做着，忙活着……

在老家院子的东头，有一块儿闲置的池塘，被奶奶巧妙地利用起来，种上了莲菜。栽种的第一年，莲菜就大丰收了。亲戚朋友纷纷赶来询问奶奶种莲菜的方子，奶奶也不藏着掖着，慷慨地告诉他们如何选种，如何施肥、灌溉。他们如法炮制，也都实验成功。为此，大妈妈风趣地称奶奶“教授”，奶奶乐呵呵地答应着。

放暑假我们回到老家，门前池子开满了莲花。白的像雪，粉的像霞，引来成群结队的蜜蜂、蝴蝶。阵阵微风吹来，满池的莲花像在舞蹈，而我总喜欢用水枪往荷叶上注水，晶莹的水珠滚来滚去，可爱极了。这个时候也是奶奶最自豪的时候。她说，蜜蜂在这里采花，还能酿蜜，真好!

我爱莲花，爱她那亭亭玉立的姿态，更爱它那“出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖”的高风亮节。我爱奶奶，爱她的美食，更爱她勤劳善良，乐观向上的品质。
