We students often have different dreams: to be scientists, engineers, doctors, etc. Like the Wright brothers when they were young, we should try our best to experience different things, for example, going out of doors to watch different animals, watching butterflies in the air, or watching fish in the water. With more knowledge in these fields, we can become biologists in the future. Generally speaking, we’d better make greater efforts in our studies. In this way, we can make our dreams come true, not only like the Wright brothers in the sky, but also like Yang Liwei in outer space.

[高一英语作文之梦想能够飞翔

我们班有一个调皮蛋——教师的“眼中刺”。可是，我却不这么认为，他还是有优点的。

“调皮蛋”当然只是同学们为他取的一个绰号，因为他经常调皮捣蛋，他的名字叫做王纬棋。王纬棋的个子矮矮的，身子瘦瘦的，便成了胖子“大块头”的欺侮对象。

“调皮蛋”对书本没有丝毫的兴趣，但对小动物，异常是昆虫，一见两眼就直发光，眼珠似乎要弹出眼眶。教师讽刺他说：“哪一天，你能拿一个‘地下诺贝尔奖’来我就满意了!”他明白，根本就没有什么“地下诺贝尔奖”，也明白教师期望他一门心思去学习，可他却故意把教师的话当作鼓励，拿不到“地下诺贝尔奖”，至少也要当个“昆虫学家”吧!

从此，他走上了“争创之路”。他天天拿一根小树枝和一个小瓶子，手腕上还带着一块小表，心里打着小九九，盘算着何时下课。快下课时，他就侧向一边，一只脚跪在地上，一只脚长长地伸在走道上，下课铃一打，他如同一支离弦的箭总是第一个冲下楼，跑到“林阴小道”的臭水沟旁。只见他先捂住鼻子，再用树枝往臭水沟里搅一搅，定会有半死不活的的小虫子爬到树枝上，他再把小虫子往瓶子里一放，盖上盖子，昂起头，一只手叉着腰，一只手举着瓶子，像一个实验室的研究员，又像一名凯旋而归的战士。

别看他捉虫时神气，一让他念书就傻眼了。上课时，他可不闲着，忙着玩弄起小虫子来，等玩腻了，就拿出透明胶带，把小虫子压扁，再粘在上头，作成了一个简单的“昆虫标本”，还得意地给大家欣赏。每当提起王纬棋要当昆虫学家的事，同学们就指着他的鼻尖，异口同声地说：“做梦!”。可我看着他做的“蝴蝶”“蜜蜂”“七彩蜻蜓”标本，觉得真是有模有样的，你们说呢?王纬棋，我期待着你——未来的“昆虫学家”!

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn to not judge

things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest，in turn，to go and look at a

pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter，the second in the spring，the third in

summer，and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back，he called them together to describe

what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly，bent，and twisted. The second son

said no - it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed，he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so

sweet and looked so beautiful，it was the most graceful thing he had ever

seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them;he said it was ripe and drooping

with fruit，full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right，because they

had each seen but one season in the tree‘s life. He told them that you cannot

judge a tree，or a person，by only one season，and that the essence of who they are

- and the pleasure，joy，and love that come from that life - can only be measured

at the end，when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it‘s winter，you will miss the promise of your

spring，the beauty of your summer，fulfillment of your fall. Don’t let the pain of

one season destroy the joy of all the rest.

七岁的弟弟小宇在同龄的小朋友中，个子算高的了。瘦瘦的小身板，细胳膊细腿显得很单薄，不过，行动倒是很敏捷。因碰到不靠谱的理发师，头发理成了茶壶盖，显得他脑门略长，好在瓜子脸上那一对黑白分明的大眼睛，像白瓷碗中浸着两颗黑葡萄，黑多白少，分外有神，给脸上增彩不少。不大不小的鼻子，下面一张略大的嘴巴，嘴角向上弯曲，呈笑样，时常露出洁白的糯米牙。因为他自己爱笑，也时常搞笑，我们都视他为开心果。

这不，他七岁生日到了，按我们当地的风俗，要做一桌酒菜做贡品，敬献给送子娘娘，小寿星给娘娘磕头，以求小寿星平安，心想事成。据说，磕头时许愿会很灵验。妈妈在准备贡品，可小宇一点也不开心，因为他的好朋友舅舅家的小表哥小硕还没赶来。妈妈刚把贡品摆放好，小宇迫不及待的跑到桌前，扑通一声跪了下去，干脆利落磕了几个头后，闭着眼，双手合十，像和尚念经似的，嘴里也念念有词。我忍住笑，刚想凑近点听他许啥愿呢，忽听院门口传来一阵脚步声，我刚一转脸去看，只见眼前一道人影嗖的一下窜了出来，紧接着啪的一声，一物拍到了我脑门上，等我缓过神来，才看清拍脑门上的是小宇的一只棉拖鞋，而那厮此刻正光着一只脚拉着刚进门的小硕兴奋不已。没等我拿鞋去兴师问罪，就见他抛下小硕一溜烟又跑了进来，直奔放贡品桌前，跪下，咣咣磕了两个头，动作麻利，一气呵成，我们都惊呆了，这家伙干嘛呢!就见磕完了头的小宇一骨碌爬了起来，兴奋的两眼放光，笑着说娘娘太灵验了，我刚求她让小硕快来，小硕真的到了，我得谢谢娘娘。这一番举动，逗得大家哈哈大笑。

吃完了生日宴的小宇门牙掉了一颗，他很兴奋，因为他一直很祈盼，觉得乳牙掉了是长大的标志。缺了颗牙的小宇揽镜自照，发现说话漏气，发sh时，特像动物世界里的蛇吐信子咝声。于是，他又搞起了怪。猫着腰，伸着脖子，右手托着下巴，左手拖在腰后，模仿起了蛇的样子，一步一伸头，一步一缩头，两眼骨碌碌直转，用漏风的嘴巴咝，咝个不停，从客厅咝到卧室，再到厨房，说是巡视他的地盘，看能否抓个老鼠当晚餐。

这个日常搞怪的弟弟呀，真是个开心果。

Everybody has his or her interest， and interests differ widely from person

to person because of age， sex health and education. To some extent， interest

also reflects ones ability or wish. Interest plays an important part in our

daily life. As a middle school student interest is of great importance in study.

If you want to learn something well， you have to show interest in it， which is

quite possible. Once you have found your way into the subject， you may have also

found a world of curiosities.

In our times， interest may not only result in skill and knowledge but also

lead to great inventions and discoveries. To be a successful person in the world

one should develop ones interest.

Novak Djokovic is one of the top tennis players in the world. He has won

many grand slams, which is the greatest honor for a player, but there is only

one grand slam he hadn’t achieved—the French Open. In the last three years, he

was so close to the champion, but was defeated by the final winner. In order to

fulfill career Grand Slam, he practised so hard and never felt depressed. This

year, he came to the final match again, everybody wanted him to win the match,

for they knew how important the champion was to him. At the first game, he felt

a little nervous and lost, but in the second and third game, he found his pace

and controlled the match. At last, he beat his rival and finally fulfilled his

career Grand Slam. The dream was not easy to realized but insistance helps him

wins.

秋高气爽、风和日丽、阳光灿烂的-月2日，因为今天是我们学校回民小学举行田径运动会的日子。

我们按时来到省人民体育场，这时大家都是穿着红衣服，白裤子，头上戴的是白帽子。这时，陈老师走了过来，让大家戴好帽子，到下面去排队。大家排好队之后，老师又让大家走了一段路，又叫大家拿好扇子，还叫最后一排的同学拿好那有亚运会徽五只羊及我班的口号：“雏鹰出山，展翅飞翔”的牌子。从鼓号队开始，再到一年级，一级一级轮着，终于，四年级的最后的那个班也表演完了，没想到，偏偏在这个时候，叶圣琳要去上洗手间。快到我们班了。还好在这个时候，叶圣琳回来了，轮到我们班了，全体同学在红色的跑道上，在雄壮的音乐下，我们精神饱满，迈着整齐的步法地走到主席台前，把我们平时练了很多次的表演操亮出来，向家长们汇报。最后，升国旗，全场立即严肃起来，大家都瞻仰着鲜艳的五星红旗。接着，校长宣布：“回民小学田径运动会正式开幕!”

接着，田径比赛就要开始了，宁晓韵、梁浩升、马思宇和我去参加跳高比赛。首先跳高的是六年级的大哥哥。有几个大哥哥跳了过去。有两个受了伤。男的跳完了。轮到大姐姐来跳。有好几个没跳过去。其余的都跳了过去。终于，轮到我们五年级的来跳的啦。男的跳完，就到我们女的来跳五一、五二跳完了。到我们班，宁晓韵先跳，她跳了过去。接下来到我了，一道栏杆横在我的面前我没有成功跳过去，我暗暗对自己说，只要勇敢地跨过去，失败了也没关系，接下来的第二次，我真的跳了过去，虽然跳的样子不太好看，后来还给妈妈经常拿来当笑话了。

接下来是激动人心的8人乘400米接力跑步比赛，我们4个同学与黄老师、一名男家长和我妈妈组成一个队，黄老师当队长，商量大家谁跑的最快的跑第一棒和最后一棒，我和妈妈在5、6棒，枪声响了，同学和老师快速的奔跑在自己的跑道上，妈妈接到棒了，只见她跑的很快，一眨眼就跑道我面前，我接过妈妈的棒，迈出大步跑起来了。
