美国东部时间3月30日傍晚6时27分，美国太空探索科技公司(SpaceX)的猎鹰9号火箭(Falcon 9)从佛罗里达州肯尼迪航天中心发射升空，把欧洲卫星公司的SES-10卫星送至地球同步静止轨道。

在发射大约10分钟后，猎鹰9号火箭的第一级成功返回并垂直降落在大西洋(600558)中一艘无人船上。

这次的成功发射，对SpaceX公司来说意义非凡。该公司CEO马斯克表示：“这一次发射必将为太空飞行带来巨大变革。让飞机飞行，每飞行一次就抛弃飞机，或者多次重复利用，二者的区别是相当巨大的。”

据悉，在去年4月，SpaceX公司就曾利用猎鹰9号火箭将Dragon航天器送入太空，为国际空间站运送物资，猎鹰9号完成任务并成功被收回。之后，经过修复与重新装载，猎鹰9号于30日第二次去往太空。

传统上，太空火箭是一次性使用的载具，火箭绝大多数的组件在耗尽燃料后就会脱离，并且自我解体，以便焚毁在大气层内。而这样一来，会使得进入太空的成本很高，要大幅度降低成本，就必须发展火箭的重复使用技术。

近年来，有一些私人太空公司，致力研发重复使用的火箭，其中SpaceX是这一领域中最为领先的。

自2015年起，SpaceX公司就开始发射火箭并回收，目前包括“猎鹰9号”在内，已累计回收8枚火箭。不过，此次利用回收的“猎鹰9号”火箭再次发射，则是人类史上第一次。

2016年，SpaceX的总裁兼COO肖特维尔曾推测火箭一级重复使用能减少30%的成本，但后来，肖特维尔又提到首次复用发射价格只减低约10%，而没有提到成本降低多少。

今年，肖特维尔接受采访时还表示，回收复用火箭第一级目前维护周期为约4个月，以后时间会进一步压缩。

欧洲卫星公司SES是SpaceX的常客，此次使用“猎鹰9号”获得了折扣，但SES公司不愿透漏到底优惠了多少费用。SES公司的首席技术官此前才呢过表示，如果SES-10任务一切顺利，SES公司将选择使用回收的第一级继续发射另外两颗卫星。不出意外的话，后续复用发射的报价有望给SES公司更多的折扣。

不过对此，也有业内人士和政府专家表示，至少在几年内、甚至更长时间内，这种雄心勃勃的巨额成本节约和其他营运收益还不会特别明显。
