Thank you for taking time to read this letter. As the problem of food safety has been becoming worse and worse nowadays, I am obliged to write to you.

Several days ago, one of my classmates came back from supermarket with a large bag of food. Because of having found a new style of tinned?ish in the food store, she was very glad. Several other roommates were invited to enjoy the “mouth?atering chicken”. Unfortunately, after finishing the food, all of my three friends had stomachaches and vomited, their faces having become paler and paler. Due to sensitivity to that kind of tinned food, I escaped that suffer. At that time, my mind went blank. I dialed the emergency number with my trembling hand, therefore they were quickly sent to hospital. The doctor said they were lucky to be out of danger because they did not eat too much of that rotten fish and were hospitalized on time.

This is the matter that happened around me which made me realize the seriousness of the food safety problem. I sincerely hope that the whole society could attach much importance to this issue.

正式比赛一触即发，场上陡然掀起一阵暴风般的欢呼声。在这喧嚣中，我清晰地听到同学们“砰砰”的心跳。摇绳的李佳和谢宇桢，双手紧握长绳，然后快速地旋转起来，与绿色的地皮摩擦出“嗒嗒”的声响。女生对的“龙头”洪心莹顺身而跳，轻轻就跃了过去，后面的同学如同一串五彩的珠子，接二连三地向长绳冲去。短短几秒钟，就轮到我了。我的手紧紧地抓着裤角，喘着粗气，脸上露出一种恐慌的神情。绿色的绳子在湛蓝的天幕中绘出一个完美的弧度。

前面的同学往绳子里一跳之后，我一点都不敢懈怠，马不停蹄地跟着冲上去。我跑到中心点，纵身一跃，似鲤鱼跳龙门一般，绳子如一个善解人意的孩子，从我的脚下溜过，又“嗒”的一声落到地面，我也缓缓降落到地面，就像一只展翅的雄鹰。同学们就像一波一波此起彼伏的音符，演奏出一曲动人的乐章，演奏了我们的拼搏。

在比赛前的一个月，为了不留遗憾，我们长绳队便开始了慢慢练习之程。回想往事，我们是“第一名”，但是是倒数的。想要扭转乾坤，打败全校之首六六班，真可谓是天方夜谭。但我们被困难吓倒而退缩，而是义无反顾地练习。每位同学们的互相帮助之中化为乌有，而让这份友谊更加牢固。之一切努力，都是为了能在今日展现出我们的自信，我们的努力!在这关键的一场比赛中，听着那一声声不绝于耳的绳声和坚定的脚步声，我仿佛听到了我们淌过的泪水，汗水，伤痛。我的心久久不能平静，一个人的力量微不足道，而团结的力量足以让你目瞪口呆!

一声划破苍穹的哨声响起，比赛结束了。全班同学紧张的等待着成绩。我们不负重望，勇夺全校桂冠，还打破了校记录。730!这个数字让我们欣喜若狂，我们豪情畅涌，个个奔走相告。阳光温暖的照耀着我们，仿佛也在赞扬我们的拼搏。我坚信，最好的结果，实在拼搏后收获的!

我，一名高二学生。转眼间高二已经过去了四分之一了。想当年，我也站在人生的丁字路口，不知道要选文还是选理。不过最终我选择了理科，因为政治、英语是我最头疼的科目了。虽然现在我对其他的科目也不是很擅长，但是只要把比较擅长的做好，我相信我是可以成功的。

After entering college, we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school, we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college, however, we have to rely exclusively on ourselves. Whats more, we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.

Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life. So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately. Here are some suggestions.

First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus. Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms. Next, try to be independent. Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc, and washing clothes on your own. Furthermore, form good study habits. Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates.

有这样一个故事：1983年，美国蜘蛛人汉姆徒手登上了400多米的纽约帝国大厦，创造了吉尼斯记录。当时，他93岁高龄的曾祖母听到这一消息后，决定从200多里的老家步行赶往重孙子的住所。老人要以这种特殊的方式为重孙子的创记录庆祝活动添彩。她一到费城，便被记者围住了。因为她的这一举动，又创造了一个耄耋老人徒步百公里的世界记录。许多人问她哪来这么大的勇气，她平静地说：“要知道向前迈一步是不需要勇气的，只要你迈一步，接着再迈一步，然后再迈一步，100公里也就走完了。”

的确，走一步路是不需要勇气的，只要朝着确定的目标，一步接一步地走下去，成功自然会拥抱你。这是一个简单的法则。想想爬楼梯吧，拾阶而上，登上一阶，再登上一阶，再登一阶，一阶一阶不断地攀登，才可达到想去的楼层，这也是蜗牛或最简单的成功道理。我们虽然不能摘下月亮，但是只要蹦一蹦总可以摘下一个又大又甜的苹果吧!

平心静气地看得失，客观务实地论成败，只争朝夕，脚踏实地，一步一个脚印，无愧于自己，无愧于青春年华，无愧于施恩于我们的人，一步一步地走向更大的成功，一步一步地攀登更高的峰巅吧。
