I have spent a happy summer holiday now.The most enjoyable thing that happened during this summer was to swim with my brother.

My brother was a good swimmer ,who had swum for about 3 years.

Summer can be very hot in southern xx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim.

In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. Until now I’m not sure if I really have interest in teaching, although I, as a free normal student, am supposed to be a teacher in the future. Once I dreamed to be a businesswoman or an official, while it seemed that the choice, which I made out of having no way out one year ago, changed everything. today is an exciting day. in the morning we had the singing contest. everyone did well in it. somebody sans lyrics and somebody didn’t. when the result came out, only audrey and ellison could be in the second run. vanessa was very sad. but finally she was in the second run. it was really great news for her.

we stayed in our rooms for the whole afternoon. we played cards, slept, read, practiced some english songs for the contest and did out homework. it was a little boring.

放暑假的前一天，我鼓足了勇气，向班上有小妙丽之称的英华提出邀约，希望她能和我一起去看电影，但她却面有难色、委琬地拒绝我了。放学后的校园空无一人，只剩我百般聊赖地在跑道上散步兜圈子，耽溺于被拒绝而自怜自艾的抑郁情绪中。

有了努力的目标后，我开始订定减重计划，希望透过持续的运动和均衡的饮食来达到健康减重的目的。首先，我让尘封在储藏室的脚踏车重见天日，和爸爸约定好每天清晨一起骑脚踏车三十分钟，从家里先到社区的运动公园，再骑到哥哥就读的初中，然后依照原路骑回家。看似短短的路程，却因为包含了一段长长的上坡道，让我每次都骑得气喘吁吁，上气不接下气呀!

此外，我也戒掉了吃消夜的习惯。刚开始虽然有点难以忍受，到了晚上九点左右，总是因嘴馋而感到焦躁，此时妈妈就会端出她精心调配的综合蔬果汁，用爱心为我补充满满的营养。

经过两个月的努力，过程中虽然也曾破功一两次，但在开学前一天，我满心期待地站上体重计时，家人和我都开心地跳了起来，我瘦了整整四公斤呢!仔细看看镜子中的自己，双下巴似乎小了一点，挂在腰间的游泳圈，尺寸也小了一号，运动服的裤子穿起来也不再那么紧绷了呢!

再过一年，我就要上初中了，在这个美好的假期里，我要学一下初中英语，打一打的底子，争取每天背五个单词，记得牢牢的，等上初中就不用愁了，要做到坚持不懈，不半途而废。

三、玩耍

背完单词后，我就可以痛痛快快的玩了，你们不要说我贪玩，俗话说的好：要劳力结合嘛！首先我要玩电脑，再画画，最后看动画片，听歌，到小广场上去玩，哈哈，一看就想笑。

四、做家务拿报酬

每天，我都要帮妈妈做家务，但是，这家物可不是白干的，扫地5角，擦桌子5角，洗衣服1元，倒垃圾1元……这样，不仅很有趣，还可以拿做家务的钱买书、文具还有自己喜欢的东西，真是太划算了！

这个假期我一定要过的充充实实的！
