那是个正月的早晨，很冷，爷爷在楼上用木柴生了炉子火，把炉子放在了烤火桌的边上，而他自己却到楼下和农户谈桔子承包的事情去了。粗心的爷爷一谈就是一个多钟头，悲剧就这样酿成了。据事后分析，可能爷爷没有把火炉放平，当火燃旺起来以后，火炉子像个喝醉酒的小老头，摇摇晃晃，最终还是倒了。火继而点燃了烤火被，烧着了木桌，屋子里的易燃物都开始烧起来了。

就在这个平常的早晨，人们都没有注意到那毫不起眼的屋顶已在冒烟了，当烟雾越来越浓的时候，才有路人开始慌忙的喊起来了：“起火了！起火了！”火势在迅速蔓延，屋顶此时已是浓烟滚滚，红红的火苗已冲出了房顶，足有一、两米高，人根本不能近身，直到消防车来。那红红的火苗将我家四楼瞬间化为乌有，只剩下几根孤零零的黑木头了，万幸的是没有造成人员伤亡。爷爷都悔恨死了，恨自己的无知、恨自己的疏忽……很久都不能原谅自己。

在流逝的岁月里，噩梦在我们心中留下了一道又一道深深的烙印：湖南衡阳火灾，广东汕头火灾，吉林中百商厦火灾、浙江温岭火灾……说近点儿，还有前不久我们石门县城湘运水缆电器门面房失火，母子被活活烧死的惨剧……在为逝去者的痛哭悲泣中，金钱、功名、利禄，已烟消云散，留给我们的只是痛苦和深思：在幸福的生活、宝贵的生命前，我们应该做些什么？是继续疏忽大意？还是放纵愚昧无知？

天有不测风云，人有旦夕祸福。在我们的生活当中，一点小小的火星也许一不小心就会酿成火灾。所以，我们要认识到消防安全的重要性，要时刻警醒预防火灾的发生，而且要掌握火灾发生后一些自救的方法，记住一些火场逃生决窍。让我们全社会都行动起来吧！

第一次是电视上播的，美国的有一个城市的一栋大楼在某天下午发生了剧烈爆炸，起初人们以为是有人刻意纵火，经调查地发现，是某人在楼里煮饭，结果烧着了地毯，但那个人却丝毫没有察觉，直到烧到了煤气瓶，发生了爆炸，才发现，可是已经晚了，那个人自然就被烧死了。
