People consume great amount of natural resources and produce wastes. To effectively address such problems, cities need to spend big money. 生活中不环保的现象像影子一样随处可见：纸袋、包装袋、纸屑……各式各样的垃圾被扔在马路上、草坪中、树梢上；树木上刻着一个又一个醒目的大字；小河中堆满了垃圾，变得脏、臭，使人无法靠近；大量的树木消失了，由“森”变成了“林”，由“林”变成了“树”，由“树”变成了木桩；空气越来越差，私家车在马路上已经无处不在……

这些不都是不文明、不环保造成的吗？为了使生活变得更好，为了让我们的未来更加美好，让我们努力做到以下几点：

一、不要乱丢垃圾，把垃圾进行分类，扔到垃圾桶。

二、节约用水。及时关掉水龙头，见到别人浪费水要进行劝导并阻止。

三、减少使用一次性生活用具的次数。

四、爱惜花草树木，不要在树木中乱涂乱画。

五、减少对木质用品的使用。

六、要多植树，让大树来净化我们城市的空气。

七、劝导自己周围的人少开私家车，选择低碳环保的方式出行。

八、不要浪费粮食。米粒虽小犹不易，莫把辛苦当儿戏。

No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected peoples daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical ones. First, with the development of agriculture and industry, an increasing amount of water is needed. Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse.
