Generation gap refers to the misunderstanding between the old and young.

The term came into fashion after the 1980s. However, in recent years, the

How does generation gap come into being? The first reason is that the two

generations have grown up in different ages, thus they have different attitudes

小时候，记得一次在老家的夜晚。那时，母亲正在为我织毛衣。那件毛衣母亲已经织了两天了，只为我第二天的上学。不懂事的我在前天时一直缠着母亲，要她为我织一件粉色的，有白色云朵的毛衣。为了让我能早日穿上毛衣，母亲已经好久没有休息了。

半夜，我从睡梦中醒来，看见微黄的灯光照着母亲的侧脸，发黄的脸上满是疲倦的神色。为了让我睡好，母亲并没有开很亮的灯，只开了极其微弱的，如小火星一般的灯光。在这样的灯光下织毛衣，不但看不清，还非常毁眼睛。织错了，拆掉那一节，重来。困了，用凉水冰冰眼睛，接着织。累了，就停下来歇几分钟，继续织。足够的睡眠对于一个女人来讲是多么的重要，保护眼睛对于一个成年人来讲又是多么重要。可我还那么小，哪懂什么父母的艰辛?翻一个身，就又沉沉睡去了。

长大后，记得有一次，是在吃饭前。我正躺在沙发上惬意观看着电视。电视机里的情节正精彩地展现，我不亦乐乎。厨房里，是父亲忙碌的身影。那时的我什么都不爱吃，挑食极了，害得父亲愁的头痛。他将一根火腿肠横着切了一刀，没有切到尽头。然后再将火腿肠切出的两条“腿儿”反过来，弯成一颗心的形状，再用一根牙签固定住。接着再把火腿放入早已准备好的油锅中煎着，发出“滋滋”的声音。然后再磕个鸡蛋进去，使鸡蛋也变成了心的形状。三分钟过后，两只香喷喷的心形煎蛋就做好了。父亲又怕牙签扎到我的嘴，便用筷子小心地把它挑出来。

我撇撇嘴道：“番茄酱呢?为什么没有番茄酱?”父亲有些愧疚地说：“没有了。”我立即耍起了公主性子，喊道：“我不管，没有番茄酱我就不吃!”父亲听完，立即换了鞋，一路小跑着到了小区门口的商店。仅用了三分钟，父亲就满头大汗地回来，手里捧着番茄酱，“嘿嘿”笑了两声，精心将它淋到蛋上面，我才吃了下去。

habits, we should eat more vegetables and less fat and sugar. Vegetable is the

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

I have to say that music really has a strong attractiveness to me.

Naturally, everyone can choose suitable music to listen to. However, when you

find a kind of music which can bring happiness to you, you will be surprised and

become excited. Music has a magical energy, and it can help people gain good

mood in a great extent.

When you feel sad, you can have a try to listen to soothing music. At

first, soothing music will let you calm down. You will find that you will play

much attention to the music, and then your sadness can be decreased. You will

enter music ocean. You can experience a baptism of your heart. It does not

matter that when you listen to soothing music and you want to cry, you should

just follow yourself feeling to have a thorough release. Music will give you

These are lots of books in our daily life. Some are about history, some are novels, and some are even about the dream in the future. I think its useful to read stories, because it can be used sometimes. Once, there was a very difficult question in an important history exam history, which wasnt mentioned in our history books, even our teacher has never told us about it. In the past hundred years, there have heen frequent natural disasters, such

Early in senior high school, we longed to be enrolled in a university. Now

the dream has come true. But how do we college students like our campus

life?

Certainly, some relish it, finding it colorful and rewarding. Besides

study, they spend considerable amount of time improving themselves in various

aspect. Yet others do not think much of their college life, thus do not benefit

as much. In their eyes, the university is just a bigger high school. The only

difference is that they have more time at their disposal without parents looking

As to me, college life is ideal if only I have abundant books to read, some

The Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on

the 15th day of August. A few days before the festival， everyone in the family

will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front

of the house.

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away

from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner， people will

light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with

their own toy lanterns happily.

At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon

while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can

look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that

there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To

protect the frighten the dragon away.
