什么时候，开始不在意外公了?

今天回到老家，一进院子看到的是外公一个人坐在客厅，百无聊赖地看着电视。与其说他是看电视，不如说他是对着电视发呆。发一会呆，再无聊地换台，换来换去，仿佛是找不到自己喜欢的节目，最终叹一口气，将遥控器置于一旁，再继续发呆。因为白内障，他其实已基本看不清电视画面了。

于是，我踏进门口，高喊一声：“外公，我回来了!”他干枯的眼里顿时充满了光芒，一切都不再重要。他拄着拐杖，吃力地站起来，颤颤巍巍地走过来，他已经八十多岁，头发根根雪白，岁月无情地蹂躏着他的皮肤，看着外公脸上一道道深刻的沟壑，我的心头不禁一紧——什么时候，开始忽略外公的容貌了?

一到老家，我就坐下来写作业，写到一半，妈妈让我把一些吃的拿给外公，被打断思绪的我只得心不甘情不愿地拿过去。一到外公身边，他就拉住我，想聊天，我也只好坐下来。那一瞬间，我感觉既熟悉又陌生——什么时候，开始产生这种滋味了?

外公看了我一会儿，就说了句：“长得与以前一样啊，你都没变。”这话让我更觉不安，外公记着我的样子，可我却从没在意过他的容貌!

此时，外公又起身，想帮我倒一杯水。他一步步慢慢地走向厨房，拿起几年来都“属于”我的杯子——因为我小时候一直“霸占”着这杯子。先是倒了点凉开水，再兑了些热水，用手摸一摸杯子，发现水很烫，又拿起凉水壶，我先是一愣，随后马上走过来：“我自己倒就可以了，不用帮忙的，您回去坐吧。”我伸手想拿水壶，他却将壶子放下：“我已经倒好了。”他满脸笑意，“你喝吧。”我接过杯子喝了一口。可能因为我打扰了他，他倒的水并不是温度刚好，而是有点烫，烫得我舌头有点发麻。但也许，这是外公倒水时，在水里掺进了自己对外孙女滚烫的爱吧。

我把那些吃的给外公。他小心翼翼地拿过来，像个孩子一样，如此珍惜。因为年龄大了，所以有略微的痴呆。阳光穿过窗帘的缝隙，把自己的足迹留在外公花白的头发上。外公吃着我给的食物，像个孩子似的一脸满足……

什么时候，没有离外公这么近了?我一遍又一遍地反省自己、提醒自己。
