We then watch the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful fireworks. That‘s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from it. The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in time. I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite. Secondly， I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original reading. My favorite book is ， written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the classical movies， the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher， surely I met lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance really was. Lastly， I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it originated from Hangzhou centuries ago， made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong， the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up，it is famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new semester is coming， I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming challenges.

我的课余生活多种多样，带来的乐趣无穷无尽。

我喜爱集邮，虽然收集不多，但我爱不释手。有中国的，有外国的，其中还有老解放区的，这些邮票我都放在一本集邮册里。每当学习之余，我就捧起集邮册，兴致勃勃地从头看到尾，学习的疲劳也就不知不觉地消除了。

我又爱看课外书。书里的知识真多，又新鲜又有趣，一看我就着了迷。看到书上生动的词语，好的片断，我都抄在一本笔记里。每次写作文之前，我总要翻翻这本笔记，很有收获。我写作水平的提高，是有课外阅读的一份功劳的。

我还喜欢跳绳。有一次，我和同学汤红比赛一分钟谁跳得多。只见汤红手握绳柄，绳子上下飞舞，越跳越快。我心里暗暗称赞：“真棒!”一分钟到了，她跳了120个。轮到我跳了，我不甘落后，一开始就把绳子抡得飞快，脚不停地跳着。可是才跳了70多个就坏了，我赶快接着跳。这时我已气喘吁吁，满头大汗，心一急，又坏了两次。时间到了，我一分钟只跳了98个。可是我不服输，我还要好好练，下次再比赛，我一定会赢她的，哈哈哈……

丰富多彩的课余生活，不但增长了知识，还锻炼了身体，培养了我的进取心。这样的课余生活真是其乐融融。

I am a first-year student in Nanjing University. Every day, I have a very busy and full schedule.

Education is very important to students. The reason is that our achievement determines whether or not we can early out duties to our country in the future.

I get up early every morning to prepare my lessons. Then I attend classes. The last two periods in the afternoon are usually free. I spend them either on the sports ground or in the library. In the evening I try to complete all the assignments on time.

On the weekends, I like to watch TV or go to the films.

Being a student is hard work, but studying makes you a useful person and it is also full of joys when you are ahead of your classmates in all subjects.

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.

To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

这是一个闷热的下午，天昏沉沉的，世界沉寂在一片浓浓的春日困倦中。

公车上人挤人，整个车厢像一个肉馅和汤汁快溢出来的包子一样，我们就是那热气腾腾的肉馅。不过所幸的是，我在整个包子的边缘处——我成功得到一个座位。

公车司机是一个染烫着酒红色的波浪卷发的中年妇女，一脸的刻板和严肃，“一副包租婆的样子”，我暗笑。

车到站了，这站有三分之一的人都下了车，上车的只有几个年轻人。忽听到一声清脆的硬币掉落的声音，接着就是一个女人的声音，“都多大了？还投五毛钱的？”语气像是挖苦，又像是责怪。我把眼光从窗外收回来，瞟了一眼，是那个女司机。

于是那个年轻人又灰溜溜地回去补上了另外的五毛钱。

就五毛钱，至于吗？我鄙夷地瞧了她一眼。

公车依然在轰隆隆地行进着，依旧是一片沉闷灰暗的气氛，车内变得十分安静，好像所有人都不敢大声说话，可能是被女司机的“包租婆”态度给震慑住了吧，我想。

这时候，车厢里突然响起了只在下车时会响起的警示声：“请乘客保管好自己的随身物品……”警示声一遍一遍地响着，在安静的车厢里显得十分刺耳。我朝女司机白了一眼，“响什么响啊！烦死了！”

过了一会儿，警示声依然在不停地响着，车里好像起了骚动，大概是每个人都觉得很烦。“引起民愤了吧，”我在心里笑说。

警示声还在一遍一遍地响着，我努力把注意力转向窗外。“这哪是春天啊？处处都残花败柳的，一点生机也没有，唉……”

“啊！”突然的一声喊叫打破了我的思绪。“你干嘛呢！……”是一个女人尖利的吼叫声，我连忙回头看，一个年纪不大的女人抓着刚才那个年轻人的手，那手上拿着一只崭新的手机。

“是小偷啊”，“怎么胆子这么大”“哟，年纪轻轻”……我身边响起了一片繁杂的议论声，过了一会儿车厢里就充斥着吵闹声和喊叫声了，但那原本觉得刺耳的警示声音却消失了。

我把目光转回那个女司机那里，车已经停了。一股感动悄悄涌上心头……原来，那警示声是……

远处传来了警车的鸣笛声，女司机安静的坐在座位上，没有了刚才觉得刻板古怪的长相与神态，原来她就是一个普普通通，却有着一颗真诚善良的心的中年妇女啊。我歉疚地看着她，却突然从反光镜里发现她的一抹如孩童般纯真的笑容……

阳光不知道从哪里跳跃了进来，原本的昏暗像是被蒸发了一般，整个车厢都充满着一片浓浓的、属于春天的温暖气息，我才发觉，每个人都微笑了起来。

Since learned last lesson, I would never waste paper. And "good ability to learn a low-carbon life" : the water that clean out rice can be used to water the flowers, not only make more lush flowers and plants, also can save resources; Dish washing water can be used to mop the floor or flush the toilet... Believe that everyone heard a word: if humans do not add abstemious waste of water resources, so the last drop of water in the world, will be the tear of human beings. Someone once did, as long as we are the Chinese save a drop of water, and that the country can save 45 tons of water. How amazing number! 有一次，我正在写一篇文章。可我左思右想也没有想出一个好题材。一本原稿纸被我撕得只剩几页了，这时，被妈妈发现了,她提醒了我：“女儿啊，你怎么养成这么浪费的坏习惯呢?你难道不知道这些纸都是树木做成的吗?要是每一个人都浪费一张纸，全国13亿人就等于毁坏了一片森林，地球已经不堪一击，我们要精心保护地球，我们的人类才能生活在地球上!”听了妈妈的话，我感到羞愧不已。节约资源，就要从身边这些琐碎的小事做起：节约水，节约电……

自从吸取了上次的教训，我再也不浪费纸张了。并且学到了低碳生活的“好本领”：淘米水可以用来浇花，这样做不仅使花草更茂盛，也可以很好地节约资源;洗菜水可以用来拖地或冲厕所……相信大家都听过一句话：如果人类不加节制地浪费水资源，那么世界上的最后一滴水，将是人类的眼泪。有人曾做过统计，只要我们中国人节约一滴水，那全国就能节约45吨水。多么惊人的数字啊!联想到祖国的万里长江和滔滔黄河，不也是由一滴滴的水汇聚而成的吗?

蓝蓝的天空，洁白的云朵，山间绿树红花，鸟儿尽情欢唱，鱼儿在水中自由遨游。多么和谐的人与自然的风景图。这不正是人们向往、憧憬的吗?从这一刻起，保护地球，过低碳生活。让我们的家园更美好、更绿色!

There are five classroom buildings and five dining-halls on the campus. The classrooms are big and bright. And each of them is large enough for sixty students to study in. Behind the main classroom building stands the college library, where both the teachers and students are busy borrowing and returning books every day. I usually go there once a week for borrowing and returning books. Our college life is rich and interesting. On the one hand, we have many experienced teachers, sufficient books, scientific apparatus, and instruments to help our studies. On the other hand, we are encouraged to take part in many college activities such as seminars, parties,talks, sportsmeets, visiting factories, etc. Basketball and volleyball matches are held almost weekly.
