牛郎牵着老牛，拉着破车，走到山里。他白天打柴，让老牛拉着车去集市上卖，夜晚睡在车上。不久，他盖了草房，开辟了一块地，安了家。

一天晚上，老牛忽然开始说话。老牛告诉他，第二天会有仙女在湖里洗澡。它让牛郎捡起粉红色的纱衣到树林里等着，要衣裳的仙女就是他的妻子。

可是，那雨儿还是没有尽兴，反而下得更欢了。

瞧去，那片水泥地已经到处是那浅浅的一层层积水，雨点儿打在上面，激起了一圈圈的涟漪，但那涟漪不一会就消失了，下一圈、下一圈……接替了它们。天变得更灰了，但是放眼望去，那一棵棵植物却变得比以往越发得绿了，特别是那棵窗边的，大概有一人高灌木，它的叶子闪着光，在这阴暗的下雨天里越发得亮眼，叶子的颜色是那治愈人心的翠绿，看着叫人舒心。黄豆大的雨点肆意地拍打着，这让人有点怀念今天早上的那朝阳。
