“战争”这个字眼对我们来说是无比熟悉的，那么什么是战争呢？我们都知道“战”的左半部分是“占”，占即为占领，而右半部分是“戈”，戈则是兵器的意思，而“争”字则代表争夺。“占领土地”“兵戈相向”以及“你争我夺”组成了战争。因此，战争给人们带来了无比深重的灾难。即使如此，古往今来，还是有无数次大大小小的战役演绎在历史的长河中。但为什么人们知道战争这么可怕还总是发动战争呢？因为人的贪欲是永无止境的。既然人的贪欲是永无止境的，那就永远都不要有贪欲。我们知道，原始的人类是不会打架的，就因为那时的他们头脑简单，不知道去争去抢，而也就是这样的他们，最天真、最纯洁。现在的人，是极为聪明的生物，哪怕是有一丁点吃亏，都会察觉出来，并且再补回来。但这么聪明有什么用呢？正因为这么聪明，才想去多获得，才有了战争。所以说，一切战争的源头都是人类本身。然而有发动战争的人，也有许许多多渴望和平的人，于是他们便竭尽一切力量来反对战争，墨子便是一个典型的人物。

墨子是春秋战国时期着名的思想家、教育家、科学家，墨子一生曾提出过十大主张，这十大主张中最主要的两个就是“非攻”与“兼爱”，他希望人们能够互相关爱、互相帮助，他反对战争，由此我们可看出他是一个热爱和平的人。有一次，楚惠王想要进攻宋国，墨子听说后，便不顾个人安危，一路上餐风饮露，只身来求见楚王，请求楚王收回成命，停止攻打宋国。因为墨子惊人的口才、超人的智慧以及诚恳的话语打动了楚惠王，使得楚惠王不再攻打宋国了。而楚惠王当初为什么想要攻打宋国呢？明明宋国与他秋毫未犯，他却依然要攻打宋国。因为他想要获得更多的领土，以及让楚国更加强大，就是人的贪念在作怪啊。幸而墨子制止了他，而如果当初墨子没有制止他，那么弱小的宋国就会被楚国精妙的攻城器械以及威武的铁骑攻破，就会有更多的百姓流离失所、无家可归。

在当时，云梯攻，用火箭烧；用车撞击城门，则用滚木垒石砸；用地道攻，则用烟熏……许许多多中攻城方法都被人们一一破解，然而现在，大炮、氢弹的威力是能抵挡得了的吗？还记得，日本轰炸美国珍珠港，美国防不胜防，这次进攻，几乎摧毁了美国的太平洋舰队……现在亦已如此，我们无法想象未来的战争将会是什么样子。也许，会因为战争，人类，灭亡。不要以为这只是“说说而已”，这个“说说而已”，可能真的会因为人类贪欲的增大而，成为现实。

现在人类对战争，思想已有了一部分觉醒，因此人们提出，当今社会的主题是“和平与发展”，我不知道这点人们是否能真正做到，因为当今世界上依然有许多地区发生着激烈的争战，但，我只愿，有一天人类的良知能够觉醒，停止战争，实现“和平与发展”，这永恒的主题。但在末尾，我还是要说，虽然“和平与发展”是我们永恒的主题，但永久的和平是不存在的，只要有人就有竞争，而竞争，会发展成战争。不过尽管如此，和平依旧是美好的，我们呼吁和平！

In my opinion, Peace and development should be the topic of todays world, we should love peace,and call for peace, fight against terrorism, to gain a better future.

There is no doubt that Osama bin Laden had to answer for the ideology he espoused and the death and destruction he reveledin. But serious questions remain in this ongoing fight. So now who, if anyone, will take control of al-Qaida?

For al-qaida , regardless of what purpose should not take innocent peoples lives as a negotiation of weights. The only hope is that Muslims who truly study, understand, and live their faith will eventually convince their brothers and sisters to give up on violence as a solution. ...I sure hope Developed countries are just a little closer to peace with the middle east.

My eyes seem to have emerged on the battlefield thick smoke in the air scenarios; to my ears sounded like innocent children were killed by stray bullets and children wail the sound……

I can not help but think of the war in Iraq now with the United States. Cause of the war initiated by Iraqs oil, the U.S. occupation of Iraq would like to become the Western powers. Tenterhooks all day long the people of Iraq for fear that they will be taken away to the U.S. military. The smoke billowing over Iraq every day, the building blocks of a disintegrated into the ground. In order to protect their homes, and some able-bodied men had to fight in battle array washed. When the sad news came that their loved ones would be how painful it is ah! Poor people on the streets, risking the danger of be shot at any time. Bereaved people are confused everybody. People yearn for peace, people do not want to watch their loved ones die. All of this can not be achieved.

War and peace, whether the United States choose one? Is the war? Is the peace? I can undertake the duty to answer, is a war! The United States does no harm, the injured is Iraq. Bush can not understand the kind of piercing the Iraqi people have lost loved ones feel that they never find.

Why does the Nobel "Peace Prize" has to date failed to obtain a state? What does this mean? That the world is not yet peace, we need to safeguard peace and stop the war.

3. It is abviously that war is abominable, while peace is loved by most of people. But there hasnt been any period in the history during which the world was really at peace. War, the evil demon of the world, has a bloody mouth full of bedbugs, and the greedy eyes squeeze the black holes eyes out of the dark eyes. I kneel down, or resist, only to Kang jump, began to seek martyrs life.
