The Mid-autumn Day is one of the most important festivals in China. Before the festival, many shops sell mooncakes, round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside. On the Mid-autumn Day, each family get together and have a big dinner.

I consulted my teacher and found out that I merely didnt have enough time to practice listening. So I bought a tape recorder and listened to it at least two hours a day. In addition, I listened to "Special English" on VOA. I also went out of my way to speak to foreigners on the campus whenever we meet so that I could have the chance to listen to the native speakers. After half a years hard work, I could get 70% of the questions correct in listening comprehension tests.

I own my success to my English teacher. It is him who tells me the correct way to learn English. It is him who always encourages me when I encounter difficulties and feel disappointed.

The Autumn Festival

Chinese celebrate the harvest on the Mid-Autumn Festival since ancient times. Its the same as the custom of Thanksgiving Day in North America. In the life, everybody has a lot of problem. For example, I am a wonderful student. I can usually get a high mark. I study very well. I went there with my teachers by bus. It took us half an hour to get there. There were many kinds of animals. First, we went to see pandas. They were my favorite animals. How lovely they were!Then we watched the elephant show. The elephants were so clever that they were able to answer some math questions. At last, I took some photos of them. I had a great time. I stayed in Beijing Zoo for 2 hours.

More than twenty years ago, my hometown was just a small , old and poor town. Most of people were farmers. There were few factories. The people didn’t have enough food to eat and wore old clothes. They had a hard life .

On the first floor there is the dining room, the lounge or sitting room, the kitchen and the hall. In the hall we set a stand for hats, coats and umbrellas. A staircase leads from the hall to the landing on the second floor; On this floor there are four bedrooms, a bathroom and a lavatory.In front of the house we have a small garden in which we grow flowers: roses,tulips and some fruit trees. "Oct,1 of every year is our National Day.Today is Oct 1st,2012 and is also our National Day.It is a important festival in Ｃhina.The Fｉve- Star Flag is flying high in the sky of the Tiananmen Square. 故事是这样的，现在嫦娥正在月球上，看这吴岗那个大帅哥，那跟一个足球一样大的肌肉，真是太帅了!在一旁的月兔越看越觉得恶心，越觉得恶心就越想吐，这样月兔不是就变成月吐了吗，月兔们就每天过着这种日子。

终于有一天，吴岗对嫦娥说：“我们结婚吧!”嫦娥听了十分高兴，她就拜托月兔帮她准备九千九百九十九个月饼，她也邀请了天庭上所有大大小小的众神来参加婚礼，可是当嫦娥的老公后羿听到这件事时，非常生气。心想：“这个狐狸精又在勾引男人了!上次她才勾引过阿姆斯壮而已，现在又在拐那个叫吴什么东西的，他到底在想什么啊?看来我一定要去闹一下啦!”于是，他就想要去参加婚礼了。

终于嫦娥的婚礼开始了!当天后羿因为看电视，看的太晚，于是睡过头了，忘记去参加婚礼，就这样，嫦娥和吴岗从此就过着幸福快乐的日子，但说不定那天嫦娥他也会喜欢上太空人的你哦!
